If you enjoy painting models, and also take part in the online hobby community, then properly photographing your models is a pretty important skill to have. It may seem like an afterthought, but if you take the time to learn a few basics, you can vastly improve the pictures of the models you've poured a ton of time and effort into.

I really love the model for Kurdoss Valentian and how he fits into the lore of the Nighthaunts and have finally found the time to paint him up. This guy, along with Olynder, and the Black Coach are true centerpiece models for the army.

These look awesome. I think I may borrow your skin color there. It's exactly what I was looking for.

I know right? Super fun army.
I don’t, unfortunately. Working out of my studio makes it harder to get good light, and the only light at the game club was a basic overhead fluorescent...
i’ll ask client if he or anybody else there can grab a few pics with a lightbox sometime soon, and ill post it then.
I know he’s adding two more larger monsters, the ones that throws rocks, and a breyherd shaman. But i won’t do those as i am fully booked for this spring and his tournament is in May, he found out about thr tournaments being 2k a little too late. With shipping and handling, its too tight to get it done. But a good friend of mine will get them done for him and i have shared the imfo he needs to match them
thanks for looking!
Cool! You should see if he can take some pics of the finished full army too. Would be cool to see how close the 2 painting styles match as well.

That's awesome to see a Warherd army, and a well painted one too!
Do you have any more close ups of the models. Just added it up, thats about 1,500 points. Are they going to have you paint any more models to beef it up to 2,000?

You're stuff looks like cell shading, it's really cool! I especially like your ghouls, so clean, and that grey and purple are perfect.

This is a very nice looking army. Love seeing older armies like this get some attention in AoS. Will definitely be following this thread.

It's hot here (Michigan) today (in the 80s) but I went from my Air Conditioned house, into my Air Conditioned car, to my Air Conditioned office. So I guess it doesn't really bug me.
Anyway, orruks, orruks orruks! Da orruks don't care bout no heat. Waaaghh!

Welcome everyone to the Endless Deserts subforum within the TGA forums. First off a big thank you to Ben for setting this up for me. I wanted to provide a space for discussion on all things Endless Deserts and hopefully some awesome miniature pictures as well.
Do you have an idea for a part of the deserts or want to expand on your own army's place within them? Then this is the perfect spot to do so!
I know I will be posting my own progress in here, so keep an eye out because there may be sneak peaks for the main website every now and then. If you have any feedback on how to improve the website as well please let me know.
This isn't limited to just Tomb Kings or Death either. Their are numerous forces that call the deserts home, from the Orruks of the Pharaonic Badlands, to the Duardin of the Desert's Spine mountains, the Free Peoples of Bétone, the Chaos tribes of the dunes, and much much more. All are welcome amongst the sands.
I hope to do some cool and fun interactive stuff with the community too once the website has been around for a bit, so keep an eye out for that.
Remember, we do not serve, we rule.
