  1. Stomping into the Mortal Realms, the largest AoS army ever is here, the Sons of Behemat. Well, the largest, and at the same time, smallest AoS army ever. So what does this gargantuan Battletome contain? View the full article
  2. Welcome back to Mini of the Week, where every Friday I will find a miniature from around the web that exemplifies an aspect of our hobby and share it with you. View the full article
  3. The Era Indomitus is upon us in 40k and with it one of the most exciting time periods for the Warhammer 40,000 franchise, at least in my opinion. The Horus Heresy is amazing as well, but I'm honestly more excited about the Era Indomitus than I have been for awhile with 40k. View the full article

  5. Crypt Hunters has been on my radar since it was first announced. I really like how GW is making these board game type games to be sold in places like Barnes and Nobel and Target. It makes the larger Warhammer universe even more accessible to new players, and also gives existing players new ways to play with their models. Crypt Hunters checks two major boxes for me. Nighthaunt and dungeon crawler. View the full article

  7. The newest expansion for Warhammer Underworlds is hitting the streets soon, bringing with it a whole new way to play the game plus a bunch of awesome stuff that's usable in all games of Underworlds! So what lurks within the Arena Mortis?View the full article

  11. Today I have a special guest article by a forge master of Chaos, Dan and his forces of Perpetua! If you're a fan of awesome, creative, and thematic conversions topped off by stunning paint jobs then you're in for a treat! This may very well be the coolest Slaves to Darkness army I've ever seen.View the full article

  13. Everyone has their favorite army, or maybe their favorite handful of armies, that they continually return to and add units to. For many years earlier in my hobby journey this was Space Marines for 40k. Now, as you may know if you frequent my site, that passion is for all the Death armies in AoS, but what happens when you get burnt out on it? View the full article

  15. I have a confession to make. It's very rare for me to actually finish an entire half of a starter set for Warhammer or 40k, but I've recently finished all of the Necrons from the Indomitus box! Clocking in around 1,000 points, it's pretty much half an army too. View the full article

  17. New paint releases from GW are one of the most exciting things to me. I love trying out new colors and techniques. Tesseract Glow is right up my alley, following in the legacy of Nihilakh Oxide as a technical paint that is great for glowing techniques. So, how does it measure up? View the full article

  19. I'm a huge fan of making display boards for my armies, and so far two of them have included some kind of broken pillar. The broken pillar is a staple of both worlds of Warhammer in fact, and would be right at home in the scenery collection of any AoS or 40k player. Luckily there is a quick, and cost effective way to make these byproducts of a war torn environment. View the full article

  21. The cycle of gaming books (Codexes, Battletomes, etc) is something familiar to any hobby veteran. The shelf life of any given book that contains rules is usually measured in a couple of years. Although the rules may get replaced, it doesn't mean your older book is no longer valuable.View the full article

  23. We've all focused a ton of time and attention onto just one army or one project to the detriment of others before. While this has the potential to be very productive, it can also lead to over saturation and hobby burn out. Over the last few months I've found myself hitting a sort of hobby equilibrium, the kind of opposite to burn out.View the full article

  25. As soon as I got my hands on the new Indomitus boxed set I've been feverishly painting Necrons. Now, three weeks later, I finally have a Combat Patrol's worth of the new models done and fully painted! View the full article
