King Brodd's model is really solid. Seems he had the same legs as the rest of Gargants. Will they replace the current box with a new one with additional parts for Brodd?

Slaves to Darkness although had a leak a few months back I still think have won the show.

Underworlds team is ok but I think Khorne has already had enough.

I still dislike Votan and think they're the worst dwarfs from GW.

I wonder what they are going to do with dual box or if there even will be one. 3 man-eaters and a few ogors? Sounds poor. I think nobody is expecting a mega-gargant in the box. Or maybe there isn't going to be a dual box this time?

I think Sylvaneth was supposed to be Wood Elves AoS-fied but i feel like they missed the mark. Sylvaneth is its own thing and i still need the wood elves back in my life. I want Gladeguard and Wardancers and Eagles Kurnothi style please. Sylvaneth are awesome dont get me wrong, i have recently bought a full army but they are not the same.

Since I am pointy ears lover as well maybe I'm stabbing myself in the back but I actually think GW did a fantastic job with combining trees and wood elves into Sylvaneth, especial with the last release of Spiteriders and Gossamid Archers. I can't think of Wood Elves to fill this same spot but somehow being more wood elfy. Both of these units scream to me "hey, we are wood elves but better".

Hope you don't mind posting pictures of my own minutes mentioned. I really enjoy the design of these models.

Ill happily take no new Destruction Faction this Edition* if it means older Factions, even non Destruction ones get a second wave.

Beasts of Chaos, Seraphon, Ossiarch Bonereapers, Flesh Eater Courts and Ogor Mawtribes. Update these and we dont need any new Factions.

*If they do add another Faction this Edition and its NOT Destruction Ill go on a massive WAAAGH!!

*angry mumbling* .... Dark Elves ... it's their turn now... waited far too long...  *angry mumbling*

Just had a 2k game against a stormcast player (yndrasta, gardus, 2x20? Vindictors, dragon riders i dunno the name). We stopped at bottom turn 2 as the club was closing but it was going fairly well: my 1x20 rasps screen ate the 1st turn charge and ranged attacks of the dragons, and at bottom turn 2 I lost only krulghast, 20 rasps and some revs models (but no full units, and I could still resurrect em with lady o) while my opponent lost all his dragons for 900ish points of army. He was 3 points ahead of me tho, for his early charge as he got to more objectives turn 1 and I lost the tactic turn 2. So, victory wouldn't have been guaranteed but I had all the cards to do so.

Beside my list and anything else, wanted to make a small consideration

We all know we are so strong in our turn. Well, I feel like we're more than that. When I charge and attacked the dragon troops they had so many - 1 save they were saving on 6+ and fighting last. The face of my opponent while I was rolling the charges was like mine while teclis dispels all my casts and then casts 4 spells at 10: oppressing 😅.

But all in all it's just for that phase and I feel like he enjoyed the game as well. At least I hope so 😅

It's possible to give more than one -1 save token to the same enemy unit?

Holy ******. Did they roll 6's every toss or what? I'm sorry to hear that. The SCs I've been up against have been much easier to deal with. I'd love to know their list.

    Allegiance: Stormcast Eternals

    - Stormhost: Hammers of Sigmar (Scions of the Storm)

    - Grand Strategy:

    - Triumphs:

    Leaders

    Knight-Relictor (140)

    Lord-Castellant (155)

    Battleline

    2 x Dracothian Guard Fulminators (230)

    2 x Dracothian Guard Fulminators (230)

    10 x Vindictors (260)

    - Reinforced x 1

    5 x Vindictors (130)

    5 x Vindictors (130)

    Units

    6 x Vanguard-Raptors with Longstrike Crossbows (480)

    - Reinforced x 1

    3 x Vanguard-Raptors with Longstrike Crossbows (240)

    Total: 1995 / 2000

    Reinforced Units: 2 / 4

    Allies: 0 / 400

    Wounds: 96

    Drops: 9

That. Build it from memory but everything seems to fit.

I'm not sure it's a major threat to us right now. Shut down casting and be wary of their ability to do mortals when they're killed, which I think depends on chamber. I like to weaken units but not necessarily wipe them, knowing that they can Cycle of the Storm them back.

    I was obliterated.

He had a very strong list: longstrikes, fulminators, vindictors. First turn he destroyed my first unit of 10 bladegheists with his crossbows even though I used discorporate. Turn 2 he used the same technic on another 20 bladegheists. He took a few models with longstrikes and finished them off with fulminators. His second unit of fulminators managed to succeed a long charge for Olynder. The game was set. It was traumatic.

  7. Had a game last evening. My revenge against sons of behemoth.

After a devastating win last time my friend felt a bit too cocky and rushed me with a single giant which I could swarm with more than half of my army and took him down in my turn round 1. In the other corner I charged a single giant with 20 bladegheists. Because of terrain and the need to remain in 12" of Krulghast, GoS and Chaingheists only a few models were able to attack and did like 17 wounds on the giants (including scarlet charge). I wasn't controlling a single objective at that time. Round 2 three mancrushers charged these bladegheists and it was pretty scary. Their charge and combined attacks with the wounded gargant dropped them from 20 models to just 2. I was delighted though, expecting to bring most of them back with both Mortarch of Grief and GoS. I rolled 1 with each of them...

With only 4 models I retreated to the center of the battlefield. In the meantime I moved chainrasps to capture two objectives, one in the corner and one on the center. Later Olynder, Spirit Torment and 10 bladegheists charged the center giant. In round 3 I managed to take him down and my friend gave up the game.

This was much different game from the last one. I swapped Black Coach for 20 more chainrasps and some heroes. I should mention that aside from bladegheists obviously which done in total like 50-60 dmg during the game was Lord Executioner. He managed to deal in total 16 dmg to two gargants. Well done for the points and he was useful as being able to fit in narrow spaces while not being seen as a threat and not targeted.

Gloomspite, lumineth Tzeentch and Ogors never got a White Dwarf tome Celestial update. We’ve already seen Lumineth and Tzeentch. It’s definitely a fair inference that the other two are the next books.

Gloomspite received like 3 Celestial Tomes? One for each subfaction. I'm sure about Troggoths and Squigs and I own these WD issues. But it didn't help Gloomspite much. They need most of their warscrolls updated on par with allegiance abilities.

  9. I still hope Kharadron Overlords are getting a serious second wave sometime in the future that has nothing in common with 40k dwarfs.

And Kharadron Overlords own mechs could be sooo awesome if they kept their current steam punk design.

  10. 1. Ironclad

And whole Kharadron Overlords range to be honest. These are the best dwarfs ever designed

    2. Kurnoth Hunters

Again, whole Sylvaneth range. Every model (maybe except for dryads) is fresh, dynamic and purely awesome.

    3. Eidolons

Idoneth deserve a place on the podium. Brave and excellent designs.

Honorable mention - Squig and Troggoth part of Gloomspite Gitz.

  11. Boring box to be honest. They could have chosen other Lumineth units, that weren't already in the starter box and battleforce. Was hoping for Alarith but even if not them, they could have put some Windcharges in the box instead of horses again. Tzeentch didn't have a second wave so that's a different story. As for the heroes, well the Lumineth one is boring. It's just a small hero on foot that doesn't stand out in any way from other Lumineth heroes. So far Lady of Vines is the star of this year dual boxes.

Concussion Gauntlets and Plasma Axes!!! Ironkin, and female/male hearthkyn!!! Can't wait to see more!!!

To be honest Votan are nowhere close to KO in terms of original design. I don't even like them despite having like 3k points of KO. Hope AoS won't go that way. I mean most of them look so common it as well could be any other army. When you look at KO you know at first glance that they are dwarfs.
