Well I I’m guessing that they don’t want a 3 tower scenario back.

Which was apparently also a thing way back.

personally it still opens the door to having 2 grey seers or 1 of each in a 2k game, and personally that’s good enough for me.

grey seers are after all agents send by the council of thirteen to lead or support and army, and it is really seldom in lore that you see more then one grey seer in a skaven army

What I’m personally not too much of a fan though is the removal of the mounts for our Warlords and chieftains.

personally I would have loved seeing them being added back in.

I was hoping to finally have a home for the warlord on brood horror, guess it’ll stay in AOS! 😂

And indeed, I think 1 of each is plenty. Quite thematic too.

I emailed GW about removing Behemoth from the Doomwheel yesterday.  I said that Allopexes and Khorgoraths are 8 wounds and not Behemoths, so neither should the Doomwheel be one.  Or the other ones should be Behemoths.  I also told them I am looking forward to buying 12 more Doomwheels in the summer.  Hoping that makes them take my suggestion.

Its GW we are talking about here. They will discontinue Doomwheels instead and give us a made to order for 90s nightrunners. 😂

I think apart from tournaments organized by GW (which are very rare in my country - here it's mostly tabletop clubs that have events) I think most organizers will be OK with some 3D prints in a Skaven army especially as Skaven are about as far away from a pay2win army as possible.

I have been to a few events in the last couple of month where people showed up with all printed Sons of Behemat and Stormcast Dragon armies. That kind of rubs me the wrong way. I you play an army with the sole purpose to steamroll about any oponent without having to deploy much of any finesse or skill at least pay the price.

But no one would mind someone bringing a few off-brand rats to an uphill battle.

There are a surprising amount of "GW purists" out there though, before I moved to Belgium I remember there was a person making a fuss over my skaven conversions with some 3rd party bits (or even self made ones). I was working on a Nippon inspired Skaven army at the time and I have to admit those type of encounters can be highly demotivating and limit creativity. This was 4 or 5 years ago though, maybe mentalities have changed. I've seen some really cool skaven sculpts that can be 3D printed, it would be a huge boon to allow some of these considering stuff like acolytes and nightrunners are extremely ugly.

  4. Hello everyone! My local scene has a shortage of miniatures and I cannot get my hands on 2 hander Annihilators. I do have the starter box set and was considering to converting the shield and hammer to great hammers. Does anyone know which kit has bits that fit with these?

I did consider using the Praetors as the base model and just replacing the the halbert with a hammer bit, but there might be people that get confused because of the cape. Caped annihilators does sound thematically cool to me though. Thoughts?

I tried to defend Lumineth on another thread......OMG PEOPLE REALLY DON'T LIKE SENTINELS DO THEY!!??

I was going to get back into AOS because of Lumineth, bought most of the army, was super happy with Sevirith, etc., but people really killed the vibe for me with all the snarky comments. I am still painting slowly, but whats the point playing if the opponent is just going to be sour all game?

I see the same in TCGs, I think we need a global mentality adjustment. Because I think this type of toxicity is bad for board/cardgames.

The Kruelboyz are Orruks, so there’s always a chance there’ll be a new Gobbo army that has the steppe-y theme you’re looking for

I see! Guess it's time to wait a bit longer then! 😃 Ty for the info.

I'm stopping my tests around Hurakans. Maybe I'm not understanding their playstyle, maybe I'm just a bad player but I think both Windmage and Windchargers are not worth in any list or too expensive to get them full portential.

I'm going to start trying Alarith+Vanari and full Vanari, they seem to have much potential.

I'm starting to believe, it was YOU, the Lumineth player, that had the NPE all along.

    PLOT TWIST.
