  1. I reckon it will be 13th March preorder.

I'd bet an Underworlds warband & Cursed City. Possibly the novel too.

Maybe Lumineth? Although they would get more hype if they space the releases out a bit.

Then I'd guess gravelords for April.

Unless they announce that they are going back to weekly, it'll stay fortnightly.

Cursed City had bet to be soon though! 🤣

I really like her pose! I wonder if she will have any kind of ranged attacks.

    I like her pose too.

I hope that not all of the heroes have both ranged and combat.

Personally i like a couple of specialist characters so that each hero plays very differently.

It's fun for mechanics and can allow further replay ability.

At first time i though Bela was going to attack stormcast ETERNALS, but the text is pretty ambiguous in every line, so can't be that easy.

And the next book is about Alarielle, the EVERqueen

Maybe they'll finally kill off the Wanderers and their ETERNAL guard 🤣

    ...sorry couldn't help myself

Yes. I wonder if this will represent some kind of in-game mechanic, such as the heroes having to collect the right keys to get into the castle...

    That would be my guess.

Encouraging you to go to each district of the city first.

There could also be some to upgrade your equipment. Bonus keys to armoury or treasure chests.

  5. Safe bet- fyre slayer maybe?

Thinking of stereotypical archetypes, we need a healer and a stealthy rogue-ish glass canon fighter.

Healer- sylvaneth branch something, aelvish wizard? Skink?

Stealthy ninja type- a khanite, shadow elf, a fyres layer may fill the glass canon combat role.

I'd like to see something completely left field but also keeping to the gritty aesthetic.

A steam-punky golem of duardin design?

She looks fantastic! I was hoping for a reveal of the Kurnothi! I wasn't expecting her to be this Aelven though but she's still great! Funnily enough I have grabbed a Namarti reaver to convert into a Kurnothi scout as I thought that would still fit the theme..

But she looks great! Cursed City is just looking amazing model wise so far- I've loved everything I've seen!

Could be - she still has a soul pod at her waist to link her to the others and there is the question as to wether the horns are worn or grown..

Definitely the idea I'm getting .. really looking forward to see if they appear as a full force!

Good catch regarding the soul-pod at her waist. I didn't notice that!

  7. I reckon they may do something like the DoK where you've got Khinerai & Melusai.

It could be standard Wood-Elf Wanderer style as the core them of the army, with the elite having "dialled up to 11" equine-sapien, Satyr or centaur aesthetic.

    Praise Kurnoth! 🐺🦌🐿

But what if Malerion's army IS a Destruction one? Could they be the main villains of AoS3?

Actually my previous theory was that Malerion is now Chaos so I clearly don't know what I'm talking about.

It would certainly give Destruction some much needed love and expand the range in  a new direction.

I really like the grot range (love the trogs & mega gargants), but personally i feel that Iron jaw & bone splitters are a bit samey.

I can't see where they'd go with the Uruk model range. I feel they have backed themselves into a corner.

That's why I was excited by the Silent People rumours. A new concept!

    ...and obviously sky-pirate gobbos 😉

If we are to get a Broken Realms Alarielle down the line, I really hope it brings about the coming of her counterpart, Kurnoth and the Kurnothi even just for the lore fluff.  At current The Realm Of Life/Ghyran is still locked in a conflict between Alarielle, and Nurgle I think.  Whether Kurnoth comes to her aid or turns against her, I think it could be interesting way to forever shake up the war and the life deity relationship in Ghyran.   If the relationship goes well, it also bring about the possibility of a united force of aelves and tree spirits again just like the woodelves of old.

Some room for some tasty centrepiece Avatar of the Hunt style models.

Obviously they'll have to make it significantly different from giganto-cow (lumineth big cow dude).

    GW take my money 🤣

...after i've bought Cursed City of course.

I still think that they'll include a kurnothi archer. That's what I'm calling as the wanderer archer.

    Win-win 😉

  10. I also hope that the female mage with storm staff takes the place of a SCE.

I think it is quite conceivable that a greedy ogor would be a member of a (vampire) hunting party if the price was high enough.

...but yeah i hope they feel like they are meant to be together and all follow the same gothic style aesthetic.

Thinking traditional adventuring party roles, looks like we might need a healer.

Oh yeah, forgot about the front and centre damsel causing distress.

My current guess is that the face top right is the baddie. the goatee really says it all 😂

I’m also wondering if the KO will be able to drag opponents closer.

the mage also has the Cathelar/sister of battle cloth over the face. Which is cool

Haha, all the goatee wearer needs is an 80's bad guy ponytail 😉

Cool idea for the KO character!

  12. Yeah the random "initiative order" sounds way better and more dynamic.

    Something more akin to D&D.

I think in Silver Tower, heroes went then all enemies.

From the new website it looks as if there are 8 heroes and 5 enemies "generals", presumably one for each district.

Do we have any thoughts or ideas for heroes?

So far we've seen Witch Hunter, Aelf (kurnothi or wanderer style), KO, and some type of Ogor.

I reckon they'll have a wizard hero in there somewhere.

Good catch on these rumors, by the way. You might be on to something here. Maybe the heroes have to collect keys from locations around the city before heading to the final encounter?

    Or to enter different districts of the city;

    Or unlock allies/loot.

They could also fulfil the role as something akin to the familiars in Silver Tower.
