Plus there’s the problem that as the rules stand in WarCry, competitive warbands are filled with cheap fighters the give you more activations.
...what if to represent their elite status they get multiple activations?! 😱

Name you source, or at least state if they work at GW.
@yukishiro1 is clearly a developer gone rogue 🥸
I'd expect some potato cam platypus/pangolin elves 🤣
On a separate note, do we have a date for all of the GW announcements? Like Red Harvest and their other hype building rumour engines.

The Lumineth 3.0 release coming out next May will have River Temple monsters that are half-dragon, half-platypus. The heroic version has a rider with a duck-billed hat.
That sounds so incredibly ridiculous, I LOVE IT!!! I would definitely get a platypus dragon!

I was holding out for Otter-Orion for the Kurnothi!
Tyrion can settle for his Battle Pangolin

Good evening,
I was lucky to get one of the Cursed City boxed sets, and am really enjoying working my way through the narrative.
I was wondering whether there were any rules or expansions, fan made or official (that didn't get released)?
The Rat Prince and Lady Annika look like boss expansions, and there was an area on the map implying Night Haunt (spectral dead).
Radukar the Beast felt like a spoiler. I haven't finished the campaign or opened the envelop, so please no spoilers.
Any thoughts on how to incorporate them in?

Is there anything in the name "Red Harvest" that could be an indication of things to come?
-
Wish-listing for some warcry factions.
Golemkind Duardin from Chamon
Kurnothi from Ghur
...from what I've been reading, seems more sensible to keep expectations at a new 2021 book release though.

I'm probably being stupid here but I've never seen these artworks before and just thought it was interesting.
Was just browsing the Age Of Sigmar website after that new timeline article, and I was 'exploring the realms' and this picture is attached to Ghyran:
This pastel style art is seen across each realm section, and the figure to the right of the Stormcast stood out.
It could very well be artistic freedom but it just stood out to me since it looks humanoid rather than tree like with a red pauldron and a Sylvaneth style banner. Small chance of Wanderers/Kurmothi tease?
One of the artworks for Azyr also has some rather different looking human foot soldiers. Are these old artworks does anyone know?
Do you mean the figure on the far right of the frame?
Looks a bit elfy, with a scythe?!

The site kept crashing all the way through checkout.

Whoop whoop! Saturday morning is going to be tense! 🤣
I can't wait.
Any news on costs?

Are pre-orders for a 1-week or 2-week turnaround?

That has got to be Destruction!
I love that!

Interesting that they have further reinforced that as a Kurnothi she is also Sylvaneth

So just to confirm, from the weekend was there any indication of Cursed City release dates?
What do we know or certain and what are we thinking?
I did have a bit of a trawl through this thread for something relating to the release of the novel being at the same time as the game.
Thanks in advance 😁

Do we think Mannfred & Neferrata will be the mortarchs or will they get a new model like a Katarkros centrepiece model?@

Hopefully Kragnor will herald a more intelligent Destruction faction.
I really would like to see a more intelligent Destruction army. They're a bit stuck with the 'hur dur ' or at best brutal cunning tropes at the moment. Which are lovely in themselves, but my personal feeling is that we're in a bit of a rut with it.
Let's have Kurnothi be a force of Destruction that wants to get back to purer times (which, of course, may never have actually existed!) and destroying the cities of the realms not because they find glee in the sound of things breaking, but for the Greater Good of purging the cancer of civilization from the realms.
Even if they are mutant Aelves, it puts a new army into a poorly supported Grand Alliance and doesn't add yet another army to Order. We're doing fine for models in Order, thank you. At least put the next Aelves into one of the other GA.
I would be down with that.
A Wild Hunt that ravages cities to allow for nature to reclaim!

I'm kind of wondering what these new Deathrattle skeletons mean for Grave Guard. I can't say these new guys are particularly less armoured than them.
They'll be nerfed to encourage the purchase of the new kits.

Unfortunately I don't think it is Kurnothi.
I would love for Orion 2.0 to be the god released from Beastgrave, but i think that the aesthetic of the centaur looking fella is slightly different from the current Kurnothi.
For example, the woven armour from the WHU warband and Cursed City vs the straps & round shields.
Skaeth also has a weird barbed tail, not that flowing horsey tail from the teaser.
The shield does look like that rumour engine shieldy thing with the duardin runes. But bot sure how that would fit in to the Kurnothi.

Alright, that looks like it's hinting at the deets of the likely BR: Alarielle.
Sylvaneth (led by Alarielle) vs. Nurgle (led by Horticulus Slimex) vs. Soulblight (led by Mannfred) in Ghur? Based in Invidia specifically, around the Bleeding Gate realmgate more specifically? With a strong suggestion from that last line that Mannfred is involved in order to sow disorder or set up a fall for Alarielle or something.
We'd better hear the heart shattering horn of Kurnoth followed by the thundering of hooves and the baying of wolven-hounds...

I'd love them to dial "wood elves" up to 11 by expanding the Kurnothi aelves with a big centre piece model.
Not sure whether it would be better to have them as their own faction or a glade of Sylvaneth.
I would have also said some sort of zombies, but the Gravelords were announced 😜

And Orion.

I really hope that if they do bring out shadow/Malerion aelves, then they are not order, or that Morathi's forces get consumed by chaos.
...Just for variety sake.
Although I totally reserve the right and continue to pray to the Hunter God for a Kurnothi release 😉

With the exception of the tiles and maybe a reveal of the game mechanics, they couldn't have that much left to go through?! ...without giving it all away.
We've already seen all of the contents of the box, which felt like the big pre-launch hype train approaching pre-order station.
At this point it feels like they are working on maintaining interest instead of building hype.
Pre-order day is going to be massive for them.
I wonder whether it will be pushed to be released after the Lumineth. So they can focus their sales.

Cursed City Expansions?
in Warhammer Quest
Posted
So i reckon they'll probably repackage Radukar the Beast, the Kritza Rat Prince and Lady Annika with cards/rules for enemies.
Then maybe repackage Galen & Doralia ven Denst as a hero expansion.
@Bjornas- i agree with smart play you can do well, but some of the elite enemies are real bad asses. Link that with some bad rolls 😱
