  1. That's because the most common map projection is the Mercator projection, which distorts the size of landmasses as they get close to the poles. Thus Greenland looking like its bigger than Australia and Antartica looking like an ominous giant wall of ice.
  2. Honestly, I don't really want to see Aqshy. It already got a boatload of focus in the Realmgate Wars, and honestly if they did stuff on Aqshy they'd probably focus on Hammerhal (which is to face it, boring) instead of more potentially interesting cities like Hallowheart, Tempest's Eye and Anvilgard.
  3. Well, off the top of my head: *Chaos Gargants (In a dual-kit with Mancrushers so you can't get rid of them, have nothing that really ties them to beasts) *Dragon Ogors (Have historically been able to be taken by both Beasts and Warriors of Chaos, avaliable to both factions in TOW) *Chimera (Chaos monster that doesn't necessarily have to be associated with Beasts in particular)
  4. The first Warhammer Adventures book had its main villains be "Darkoath Barbarians", I have the feeling this was supposed to release a lot earlier (like 2E "a lot earlier") but for some reason never did until now.
  5. Actually soul destruction is incredibly easy, seeing as how the Sacrosanct Chamber has weapons capable of doing that.
  6. Honestly that poll will be meaningless; everyone will vote for the End and the Death, not because its the best but simply because damn near everyone would have read it simply out of obligation. A lot of people would have simply read no Warhammer books in 2023 other than EatD trilogy.
  7. That's just a recolored art of the Dragon Slayer from the Warhammer Fantasy Dwarfs army book.
  8. Honestly in regards to Mordheim they might as well bring it back and tie it into the Old World (Mordheim the game itself took place like a hundred years before the Old World, but the city itself was only destroyed when Magnus the Pious became Emperor so during TOW times it should still be around and there's probably still adventurers going there).
  9. Also in regards to Warhammer+, new battle report focused on Dawnbringers V content.
  10. We already know that the Draconith duo and Kroak are currently fighting him as of Dawnbringers III, we just need a resolution to that battle.
  11. Stormcast Eternals: Warriors - Freedom Call Gloomspite Gitz: No One Survives - Nekrogoblikon Seraphon: Dinosaur Warfare - Victorious Flesh Eater Courts: Come the Carnivore - GWAR
  12. Actually now I'm kind of suspecting Skaven because that is a really really tiny skull I assume. Maybe it could be a rat skull.
  13. Deiter Helsnicht. What he became in End Times was so weird, and he logically should've completely avoided the destruction of the world given the situation he was in.
  14. I think we're going to get a Dawnbringers 6 announcement and whatever model happens to be on the cover of it (like how the Harbinger of Decay is on the cover of Book 1, Trugg is on Book 2, Ionus is on Book 3, Ushoran on book 4, and Krethusa on book 5) without any other models revealed. So for instance if Her Highness in Ruin is on the cover that's the only model we'll be shown, with anything else being saved for Adepticon.
  15. I mean all the "free Ironjawz supplement" stuff was included in the physical Dawnbringers II book. The main reason for putting it in a free online supplement was because GW knew players didn't like having to buy books to get their new models (which is why all new Dawnbringers models are free online).
  16. Geese were actually part of the old Halfling army list in Warhammer as part of the Poultry Swarm.
  17. Not a skeleton but that's pretty much Gorslav the Gravekeeper from Cursed City. Except he isn't really a major character, just a miniboss under Radukar.
  18. I don't think that's worth creating a thread about. Khorgos Khul getting a Daemon Prince model has been heavily speculated for Dawnbringers, do we really need to create a thread for a supplement we know nothing about because there was a short story teasing him?
  19. Grom appeared over a hundred years after ToW.
  20. All the art in the book is just taken from previous Warhammer Fantasy books (or Total War Warhammer 3 in the case of the Cathay section). The lore section is actually a pretty good recap of Warhammer Fantasy history, even including the history of the legacy factions in the timeline, but there's nothing really that you can't gather from reading wiki articles other than a few retcons to how High Magic works and some few details on the pre-Magnus era Empire that will probably be fleshed out when TOW gets actual proper campaign supplements.
  21. There's this weird thing where sometimes they say "it is argued by scholars whether Hashut is a true deity or an arch-daemon". I mean considering he can mutate his followers into giant bulls that are on fire that kinda sounds like something only a god could do to me. More blatant divine intervention than most gods in Fantasy.
  22. Giving the Horned Rat his own model would detract from a major part of AoS Skaven lore, where every Skaven Great Clan sees the Horned Rat differently and interprets him in their own figure, and its confirmed that these different aspects of the Horned Rat are in fact warring against each other. You can't have a single model that represents the Dark Innovator, Great Corruptor, King of Lashes, Writhing Broodsire and Shadow of Murder simultaneously.
  23. I'm expecting either Callis and Toll or a short story from the perspective of the FEC cultists in Hammerhal.
  24. I'm pretty sure they explained they'll get army boxes but no rulebook in them.
  25. My personal belief on how the Fyreslayers range boost works: Think about it, Vulkite Berzerkers have short arms and fairly short length to their weapons. Its the only logical explanation.
