    The wife got me the Praetorian spearhead for Christmas so I should probably do that. I had a box of immortis guard in limbo for a while. Plus if the obr dawnbringers box is true I'll probably have that as well. Other than that I want to try soulbound which I just bought the book for (my first ttrpg actually) and definitely need to get my terrain done now that it seems my army building days are coming to a short pause.

    I get why people care. But gw has yet to release factions that corelate to the editions realm. The editions realm is for all intents and purposes a useless fluff thing. It barely correlates in in game rules and gives no idea behind which armies are coming out. Lrl released in second edition which was shyish.

    Does it really matter if the armies main realm isn't the realm the edition is "in". 3rd edition is in ghur but the current narrative doesn't care about ghur at all. And the cos refresh is based on asqhys cities and I believe the summerking is in ghyran for his refresh

    Tbf hours hersey was the exception. And really it was supported at first by being the way they released all the marks of firstborn armour. So you can flair out your armies. A friend of mine that was an iron warrior player made a full mark 3 2k list back when I still played 40k. And despite all the shitposting about space marines get all the love they are the best sellers.

    They released for both. They had the 40k box with rules in the abaddon arks of omens I believe. And the kill team season all had more stuff for it each release

    Boarding actions and combat are separate though. My store we already have vanguard leagues. And I keep my soulreaper mini in my army box. (Only dude I don't use for my 2k list). Sure gw officially supporting it and maybe making multiple boxes would be nice plus the cleaner pruned rules of official combat patrol. But if you really ask me I ratherer have a dedicated close quarters mode with real support rather than something I already do on my own.

    I rather see tunnel wars (open play rules in the back of the corebook and seasons of war) fleshed out with a terrain box/game mode similar to boarding actions for 40k maybe 750 points instead of 500 for boarding actions.

    Personally I rather have one or 2 silhouettes a month than a rumor engine a weekish. The rumour engine is the personification of getting the tuned in fans engaged though

    Oh yea I forgot about him. And if we don't count the gorgers than I don't think it would count the ironjaws because that was it's own supplement that just got hard printed into a dawnbringers book

    Tbf hh didn't have that stuff at first either. If it sells well they'll probably get remade. Also as someone who collects the named characters I rather them spend the man hours making generic heros as I prefer the my dudes aspect.

    Yea I'm broke all January now. And I really doubt we get a AOS reveal till new years. Maybe a boxing day mini but nothing else

    I might finally get enough morghast between this and the spearhead box I'm hopefully getting tomorrow if it's trye

    30k was the same way and it's success switched in to more mainline with a big summer release and is what spurred the 3 year cycle. It's not crazy to believe a successful tow would shift gw to 4 year editions and honestly I think 5 years is an even better benchmark.

    One of my biggest wishes is each army gets a unique basing like the old hero bases or the shattered domain, necromunda bases gw sells. I'd pay 60 bucks for a bunch of base bits to customize as as see fit themed around my army.

    Tbf you made an international community that we can share the love for our hobby. Even if you didn't play a single game or make a single model that's a huge contribution to the community
