  1. Embergard, Phoenicium, and the third one? Fort Gardus? I don't consider it a city. The one underground that the GSG destroyed?
  2. That would be awesome (especially if they stop producing it!).
  3. But it has a counterpart. When you show a mini painted to a decent standard rather than its "maximum exponent" you are not showcasing how good the minis are. I think a better approach would be adding some examples/ guides on how to approach the minis for beginners inside the box. Something like what the Hachette collectables do. That way you have a nice selling point in the box, but also you cover those that are new to the hobby and cannot reach those standards.
  4. I am not a great painter (well, I only painted a section of scenery since I rejoined the hobby), but I totally aspire for something more than that. This seems just like some contrast layers. To me, they look more like a way to sell another GW product (contrasts) than the minis themselves.
  5. I am starting to hate this new way of painting the Spearheads. They look too poor quality-wise.
  6. Faction Focus is here! It is time to move the discussion over to the next KO topic! 😅
  7. I agree here with the others that we shouldn't base the release on the possible builds, especially when the new edition will shake the pillars of the game. Maybe KO now will only have one viable build and DoK twelve.
  8. While I agree the proper system should be "turn-based", I think Krules will receive a similar treatment to Necrons with something like 3-5 kits early in the edition.
  9. Without knowing too much in deep the KO lore, how likely is that KO ends up being a 50/50 melee and range army? To me they look like a 90% range army with little room for melee. What references do they have to be able to expand that melee side?
  10. Yeah, I am not Whitefang. I cannot predict it all Obviously there are always going to be "exceptions to that pattern", but I think if we look to the past years it has been more or less that. I hope KO is one of those exceptions for those of you that collect KO
  11. Definitely some will be biased by the factions they like, but I saw some others trying to be objective. In the end, it is easy to measure it, IMO. Does it have AoS only models? How many? That's the basis for determining who needs a new release. After that, I would look for the release date and role coverage. That's why I don't think KO is in so desperate need compared with other factions, trying to be objective.
  12. Oh. So Ionus shares that feral skull design with the new Veritant. I didn't know it! Do we know what is that referencing to?
  13. Here you go. 40k for that one. Especially knowing there are rumours about them being released soon.
  14. Idoneth, Ogors and DoK. Idoneth just before KO.
  15. I am with you there. I see KO having maybe a hero and scenery and wrapping until the 5th ed.
  16. That gloves give me 40k vibes. Is there ay faction in 40k where that skull in a box would fit?
  17. Maybe now Khul starts a new arch about proving that he is worth the daemonhood and "repair his failure"
  18. In one of the first posts after the Skaventide preview, it was mentioned as well that the Grypgh-Stalker is a gift from Morrda as well. It is nice that we start seeing some minor death deities, and indeed it will match what Whitefang said. Maybe we see more Morrda/ other minor goods related stuff during this edition.
  19. Yeah. Felt weird. You fail and get promoted? I gues Khorse only cares about the extra blood.
  20. There's some of them in the Skaventide box that are indeed more detailed, but Liberators for example are still pretty easy to paint, and they are almost half of the Stormcast side of the box.
  21. They are not expectations at all. It is just what I think. If that is not the case it won't matter, I have plenty of stuff that I have to catch up with 😅
