If the rumors are correct , weirdbrute appearance should be taken from morgok krusha ardskull design. so a new unit based on a WHU sculpt

Yes but they weren’t in the points adjustment, neither part of the orruk extra battle tactic , they haven’t received any AoS mini ever . they were just lucky to get a WHU warband yes , but that doesn’t sounds like GW is working on / with them for AoS . (and I hope I’m wrong because I really like what they did with hedkrakka madmobs )

Unfortunately there is no sign of interest from GW for the BS .

I think they slowly moves the bonesplitterz aspect and role to ironjawz and kruleboyz . The waaagh frenzied to the ironjawz with the weird units and the monster killer aspect to the kruleboyz breaka tribes . Maybe only hedkrakka will move to ironjawz eventually . and then bonesplitterz will go to the old world . 3 armies are too much for a big waaagh, 2k pts isn’t enough to pick up enough unit from the 3 army and get good synergy . 2 armies are easier to balance and synergies

not waaagh madness but kruleboyz have a more savage tribes called beast breaka tribes where breaka boss and new warcry monsta killaz are from

My personal guess for the upcoming release: - maw grunta 2 versions similar to mangler squig kit single maw grunta (monster,behemot) tuskboss on maw grunta (leader) new ard boyz design weirdbrute design vanguard box will contain : - ard boyz boss - 10 ardboyz - 3 gore grunta - 5 brutes

They don’t need to split the armies into different book to give them more trait / artefact / spell . They can increase it in a single book too

This is the only orruk warclan reference we have . also I’m sure there will be ard boyz in the vanguard (or another upcoming ironjawz) . There no reason they waited to reveal the vanguard of there were not any new unit Inside . if there were only the maw grunta as new unit in the vanguard they would likely reveal it when they showed the maw grunta . That’s my guess .

Yes but that’s really unclear as all other orruk warclan box we got before contained only one subfaction . like battleforce or regiment of renown , both labeled orruk warclan and only had some kb inside .

Maybe @Elarin could help us on which subfaction are in the vanguard orruk box ?

If you look at kharadron vanguard this a pretty good entry to buy twice . Also it’s not impossible that they make a vanguard kruleboyz box with actual dominion kb part.

I think that orruk wzrclan are different from any other army . They are listed as separated armies in the meta watch . In the same metawatch , Gloomspite gitz for exemple aren’t listed as goblin / troggoth / spider separately so they can be unified in a army box . I am not sure we can do the same for orruk warclan .

We already had a box for orruk warclans that had only kruleboyz units . So a box of orruk warclan full of ironjawz is possible . but if they are going to give a mixed sub faction I hope for Wurrgog or hedkrakka for bonesplitterz , ardboyz and gore grunta for ironjawz and sloggoth for kruleboyz .

I am not sure bonesplitters will en part of anything . They haven’t receive anything since WHU band . They don’t seems to be part of GW plans anymore . It wouldn’t make sense they put mixed warclans in the vanguard unless they want ppl to play big waaagh ? so maybe : - 3 gore grunta - 5 brutes - 10 ard boyz - ardboyz boss
