Those that mean that Verdigris ends up being the city that survives ? Would be crazy if that’s the case.
Iscilla Thorian miniature?

Order
CoS - Flagellants, Character and Cogfort. (Would love a Duaradin and Aelve infantry and character kit in a CoS aesthetic and for the current Dwarf and DE kits to be removed/moved) I'd also like to see a light cavalry kit with similar design notes as the Wildcorp Hunters kit.
Seraphon - Sauras Guard and Character. New Skinks and Character (A new plastic version of the skink holding the sickle in one hand and a heart in the other). Big Brachiosaurus-style centerpiece model.
Sylvaneth - I know it is unlikely but I would love to see more "Wood Elf" style minis in AoS. I like Sylvaneth but I'm a sucker for Woodies, I want AoSied Legolas! Not just Treekin. A couple of units in a similar vein to other awesome Cursed City Kurnothi Character please!
For Cities, this would be a good start, but as it stands (and as Ejecutor has said) the AoS only range right now is pretty small (especially in terms of characters).
I've already made far too many wishlists, but one thing that I've recently found myself really wanting are more city ogors. Give me an infantry squad! Give me ogors carrying a platform with fusiliers (like the Chaos Warshrine crossed with the Fusil-Major's crow's nest)! I really love units that are "infantry, but big" (Eldar Wraithguard, Necropolis Stalkers) and finally seeing the Warhulk next to Steelhelms has me wanting more.

This one feels even more weird, because we have these Freeguild guard that look nothing like the minis, with the Hammerhal Aqsha transfer behind them that only appears on said minis.
Imho they were probably not given any proper Cities designs to work with (apart from Callis and Toll and city iconography) and probably just based these conquistadors on either earlier concept art or Callis (his equipment is kinda similar).

Cities won't be full walkers. There are several references to wheel-powered vehicles, but we also have Zenestra... so who knows.
Zenestra is just an extremist "maybe surviving god of death (not capital Death, that's Nagash)" that has an irrational hatred of wheels. And since the great cannon has wheels, I don't see why we couldn't get more wheeled (or even walking) vehicles.

@Asbestress Great job!
Do you by chance have the ability to do a side by side size comparison of the warhulk ogor to any existing ogors?
I know roughly the size but would love a side by side.
Sure. Not the best pic, but it should get the point across. Old one is around chest height of the Warhulk.

A month (ouch) after completing the Fusil-Major, here's the Warhulk.
I'll probably do some more touch-ups (ogor teeth, text on scrolls?) with my next batch of Steelhelms.

Another price hike is really pushing it now. I'll be holding off on growing my Cities backlog (apart from a Spearhead when I'm done with what I have) until we maybe get a christmas Battleforce and/or new army set.
But on the topic of Cities, I've been reading Lexicanum maybe a bit too much, and have come up with another wishlist.
SpoilerSlightly more „realistic” / informed Cities wave 2 wishlist:
Leaders
- Bombardier-Major / Fusil-Major on foot
- Freeguild Sub-Marshal / Captain
- Freeguild Marshal on Griffon / other big creature
- Devoted Priest
- Mage
Units
- Freeguild Knights (heavy infantry)
- Flagellants
- Ogor Warhulks (unit of 3-5 ogor infantry)
- Wildercorps Outriders (scout/crossbow cavalry)
-
Steam-Wagon with crew options
- Wildercorps Arbalesters
- Fusiliers
- Fusil-Major / Bombardier-Major
Behemoths
- Cogfort
Explanation
Spoiler- Bombardier Major: mentioned in Dawnbringers
- Sub-Marshal: mentioned in Dawnbringers
- Freeguild Marshal on Griffon: Fantasy Empire kit that stuck around
- Devoted Priest: Devoted still only have Zenestra and Flagellants (and now an Underworlds band)
- Mage: Empire Battlemage kit is still around (maybe Hurricanum/Luminark replacement with Steam-Wagon/Cogfort options?)
- Freeguild Knights: Arch-Knights have to come from somewhere/filling in a gap in specializations
- Flagellants: Fantasy Empire kit that stuck around
- Ogor Warhulks: Fusil-Major descriptions give me the vibe that a Warhulk is a separate type of thing and not only a mount option
- Wildercorps Outriders: filling in a gap in specializations
- Steam-Wagon: mentioned in Dawnbringers and Warcry Wildercorps background as being extremely common military vehicles
- Cogfort: Whitefang back me up
Wave 2 is dead and I'm killing it.

I am sure about something. Lore was the last thing, which feels super weird as for me it has to be the first step.
But it could just be my head playing Tzentchian games with me.I'd say it's:
General faction/subfaction lore/concept art based on lore and vice versa -> Models -> Model/unit lore -> Rules

If you talk about a Mordheimized setting for Warcry 3rd edition in summer 2025, well I don't see it either. We already have "ruined city" theme in Warcry 1 (and a whole range). They tried the whole Old-Worldy style with Cursed City (it was quite nice for sure). And, again, now they are differenciating their IP's.
Warcry 1 was more like old Age of Myth Allpoints ruins, while a theoretical ruined city setting for Warcry 3 would more likely be based on a (relatively) newly established City of Sigmar, maybe sharing design elements with the current Dawnbringer terrain and Cities army.

OHH, I really like these. The helmets and shields finally bring back that bit of greek/roman god feel that I really love in Stormcast. Might use some of the heads for allied Tempest Lords Reclusians if we get fully enclosed variants.
And, at least I know what basing extras I'll give to my centrepiece Cities units
Really hope the scenery in the box will also be ruined 3rd edition Dawnbringer structures. Maybe I'll finally have enough structures to make a competent besieged city table

I am not that fully sure we will see muskets again. It was pointed out that gunpowder is quite scarce. So maybe we are moving away from that as well.
We have some guns at least. Maybe if wave 2 has some Ironweld stuff we'll see more of them.

they probably just kept it generic in the meantime? it's hard to say; i once took those as a hint for the designs going forward but now it seems like the opposite. aka, (somewhat) generic human soldiery used as a stand-in because we have 0 clue what the next thing will look like and corporate won't let us see.
One of the Cities design articles mentioned that they worked on an aesthetic for Cities they was too "high concept" and that it looked like they came from "some place warm, like they had happy lives"
Maybe this conquistadore look is back from that phase of design?

Why did they decide to pose the two regulars identically?

Let's join the two biggest order factions together! What could go wrong?
Full on "everything goes" soup would be pretty bloat-y and a nightmare to balance.
A less restricted way to include Cities units in SCE and Stormcast in CoS that isn't just the base Allies system, with thematic rules? Still interesting in terms of balance, but it would be pretty cool.

Yeah the april fools icon of Hel Crown @Ejecutor right
A warcry setting of a former Khorne bastion turn free city in the admist of Vermindoom would be a good setting. Check off all the mordheim vibes
If we get some of the surviving citizens trying to fight for their slowly crumbling city (on terrain based off that) to go with that, I'm a 100% in.
And any setting at this point will be better than Gnarlwood for the 1000th time

He has been wrong several times in the past. As far as I'm concerned, his "trusted sources" are none working at GW and it's basically guys on the internet using their brain and logic to predict what GW could release in the future. These "Old World rumors" really look like they were taken from a Total War Warhammer channel, honestly.
Enjoy his videos, sure, but never believe what he says - it's just entertainment. It's not because he's "right" a few times that he actually has reliable sources. People working at GW have better things to do than risking their job for a youtuber's need for views.I don't actually remember the last time he was 100% wrong about something.
Has he gotten details wrong? Yeah, absolutely, like the Black Templar Ancient.Straight up fake stuff? Only if we count the times he just lists of stuff he read online/states that he doesn't 100% trust his source.
Having watched the video, I'm pretty confident Cathay could be coming, although I might be a bit biased

I agree. Those attendants look like they walked out of the Ecclissarchy.
Imho they fit in perfectly with Cities humans, especially Zenestra's palanquin carriers. A bit more ornate, but that's fitting for Stormcast guidance counselors.

Uhh, 100% new Cities minis by technicality of sharing aesthetics and being human?!
These will be really good for Devoted stuff/alternate Steelhelm priests.

I do think the Darkoath box is slightly overpriced. The CoS box was £120. Equivalent to €155 boxes nowadays is £125. When CoS came out it was a limited edition battletome but for Darkoath it is just a supplement that isn't valid in a couple of months.
It has a bit more plastic than Cities though (mounted general vs on foot, big monster vs mage), so maybe it's that.

So after this small third O&G release, where does that leave Dwarfs? I've seen people say they'll be removed from CoS once CoS receive their battletome for 4th, so Dwarfs won't be released for 3-5 months?
CoS wave 2 won't be until at least early next year (and most likely around mid-late 4th unless we get any more hints as to when the COGFORT drops, still hoping for a short wait like Lumineth had between releases (less than a year)), but Dwarfs are 100% coming either this month or May.

Didn't even know these, uhh, beautiful Night Goblins existed.
Guess we won't be saying goodbye to the current Moonclan Grots for a while still.
Makes me kinda scared for Dispossessed, since TOW dwarfs use the plastic Ironbreakers/Longbeards/Runelord/Warden King kits.- 2
