  1. I would argue the opposite of your ‘second hardest hit faction’ and go a direction more inline of got off easy. Sure morgwaeth was heavily increased in points but let’s be realistic in that she was heavily under costed for whatever reason. There was absolutely no reason she should have ever been 80pts - 10 points cheaper then a hag queen previously. We all knew she would make a big jump up. In hindsight our biggest hit was to the stalkers with 30 point increase.
  2. Can some one help explain to me why nearly everyone takes lifetakers over heartrenders? Because to me if you need to set up 9” from enemy units arnt you taking a gamble in that you may not make that 9”charge where as heartrenders have a 12” shooting profile that your guaranteed to get use from seeing as these units deploy at the end of the move phase into your shooting phase?
  3. What is it you’re trying to achieve exactly? I ask because you pulled this list from Jason Duncan from the YouTube vid let’s talk lumineth from a day ago in which he explains the 2 lists you’ve combined in a 40min segment each. All you had done was remove his battalion, extra cp, and dropped an endless spell along with the martial hero for a sev. and I think to play 50 wardens without the legion battalion will only have a negative impact seeing youre playing all auralan units that now cannot re-roll 1’s on their save.

When a LRL wizard with 12” of the twinstones casts a spell that wizard may add to their spell cast by taking from the twinstones, once the spell is resolved reset the dice of the twinstones to 1, add +1 (1 because you used it, +1 because of the successful spell cast) casting a spell does not increase the twinstones dice value, only successful spell casts add +1 to its total dice count, if you cast a spell and that spell is unbound do not increase the dice value.

It definitely doesn’t leave much room to play with, kind of the situation I was in trying to fit in severith but in your case 350 points can at least fit in 20 sentinels leaving 70 points for umbral spell portal for teclis’ solar, simoon, etc which could prove useful, but this could prove dangerous knowing you have only a few battle lines to play on objectives so it would require some care. This would also require splitting the stoneguard into 1 x 10 and 2 x 5 to meet the 3 battleline requirement which to me doesn’t sound ideal or breaking the sentinels down to 1 x 10 for 10 wardens weakens your shooting but is an option to keep to blocks of 10 stoneguards. This is the issue with teclis, you build the list around him and the alarith temple requirements will not make it easy 😅
  6. You are absolutely correct, I was absent minded when drafting a list initially and had removed avalenor and the stone mage because the list looked weak IMO, as so many points were in leaders. (1150, retrospectively 1270 with alarith temple and before stoneguard) I ended up removing them and forgot to remove the battalion.

Just know battlelines are weak for objectives so it’s imperative you keep the wardens alive. all in all this may meet your aim or with minor changes to suit your likes/needs more so. mind you if you’re trying to go with ymetrica as the great nation I just feel syar proves more valuable vs the passive -2 rend. Up to you what you want and the list above may spark some creativity as it is essentially a good start state for you and the list you may come up with. The ymetrica great nation had the advantage of making all your units battle line which will help play the objectives. let me know what you come up with, I am quite curious.
  8. Because you have some experience regardless that it is limited, would you say that severith was worth the 300 points to be included in a list, or do you feel his points cost would find more value else where?

Well many have not seen severith or the lesser fox played yet (my self included). way I see it is the model essentially demands a response from your opponent otherwise the thing will just keep skirmishing and whittle your opponent down through attrition. The utility of that decision your opponent needs to make may keep your board safer for a turn or 2. If your opponent doesn’t have an immediate response it could be quite overwhelming for them. I do feel your concern if it’s value isn’t quite up to par, to which removing severith for additional battleline would be quite easy.

Yeah but in hind sight this is no different then teclis and his maybe 40 wardens in terms of wounds and battlelines for playing objectives, I do agree that the list is heavy in the leadership though I think it has more staying power then teclis does as cow king and fox will likely do more or equal work for the same point cost. Though only theoretically, because teclis’ biggest contribution is his 18” 5+ FNP. Not to say teclis isn’t good but all in all it’s the above spell we value the most.
  11. I put together a list (below) and would like to hear what your thoughts are. I am not sure sure if the calligrave and vortex will prove useful but the idea here is allowing the model to cast protection of hysh and erasure. Alternatively those could be removed and a unit of 10 sentinels could be added bringing the total to 30 as we all know LRL strength is within those sentinels.   12. I must be missing something because as far as I understand, bladelords are not battleline... and tinkering in army builder also indicated that they are not, albeit army builder isn’t always reliable.
  13. The issue to take this particular list into the great nation syar would require 2 units of wardens in order to fulfill the battlelines requirement which would overall alter the list dramatically....
