Agreed, i think it would be nice to have a 4 to 5 year cycle. Give some attention to the factions and finish them. Give some more space for more tomes and an extra narrative campaign. Also support other formats besides matched play.

I was wondering what would compliment the Snarlfang Riders best in this 1000 point list. Need to figure out what battleline to choose. Chose the Madcap because it can at least target the Snarlfangs. LEADERS Madcap Shaman (70) - General OTHER Snarlfang Riders (120) Snarlfang Riders (120) Rippa's Snarlfangs (110) TOTAL POINTS: 420/1000

I think it would be awesome if we get a half size table (750-1000 points) format that is fully supported with battlescrolls and everything. 1 hero 3 units (2 battleline it seems like?). It would be easy marketing. Buy this type of box and u are ready to go and play on this size table. Maybe even put out terrain boxes for smaller tables with setup cards like Warcry.

Yeah thats what i am wondering too XD. Might be so that these can be used for 4th edition and not all vanguards might contain fully supported models? I guess its to avoid that things will be unclear to some people in the future.

Most vanguard also have 3 units and a hero. Not comparing start collecting boxes, they are very different from vanguards.

It does mean the models have support in the next edition. I dont do tournament play, so thats enough for me.

I would be thrilled to see indexes for 4th edition. That way i know what models i own are at least supported for another 3 years. I guess we will know soon enough when more tomes are no longer available.

They just being swallowed into the SCE tome. Deathcast and all.

Hi all, i got a question but i sadly dont own the CoS tome. What cities/subfactions are known for fighting orruks or gitz? I know about Excelsis but that is where my knowledge ends. Also what city is from Hysh?

Also true. The same could be said for Gloomspite and Gitmob being in the same tome. The 2 are nothing alike. Gitmob needs to go somewhere or GW needs to find a way to make them fit somewhere. I dont think they went throught the trouble of releasing the amazing Snarlfang Riders unit to not follow up on the theme. The question is just how at this point.

Point well made. Cant argue with that . Do you all think there is enough space in the Gitz tome to add Gitmob, or do u think it is likely Glareface Frazzlegitz could get its own tome as a 2nd tome with grots? I know Gloomspite Gitz are popular and GW has a weak spot for that sort of thing. I do think Frazzlegitz are very much different from their Gloomspite cousins to get a separate tome some day. Another thought could be the renaming of Gloomspite Gitz into a tome including both Gloomspite and Frazzlegitz like Orruk Warclans, but i am not a big fan of this thought XD.

Gitz are always in a state of continuous civil war untill someone powerfull enougb rises to the top and kind of unites them for however long that lasts. I do like Skragrotts story, hope he stays for a while.

How would they be allied to Chorfs? Dont really see any connection there. Am i missing something? Fighting chaos is what greenskins do best, its how the mortal realms survived archaon/ end times right? Grots also have a long history with Skaven, might be a nice segway of an early 4th edition tome for the grots.

I dont think Gitmob would ally with Gitz for a long time. Also love this art. I dont think the tome is messy and bloated at all. I like it much better than Orruk Warclans. Each of the Subfactions feel really different and fun imho and u dont get punished that hard for mixing them. This is just a random thought i just had. Could Kruleboyz maybe share a tome with Gitmob? I feel like their designs match really well. I could see Spiderfang moved out of Gloomspite Gitz, but not replaced by Gitmob. I feel like Bonesplittetz and Spiderfang would be the best combo. But i know there isnt enough space in the GW schedule to make this all happen. I give Glareface Frazzlegitz the best chance because its been name dropped a lot this edition, hopefully together with Grotbag. Edit: i like the AoS lore of the Spiderfang so far. Hope they get a refresh some day. The Arachnarok is still a beautifull kit.

I hope u are right so much. What kind of units do u think we will get for Gitmob? I hope we get: AoS version of Grom, big grot riding a big sandworm. Shaman riding a Scorpion Rock lobber/ Doomdiver hydrid Some kind of desert glider/catamaran. Grot mob with nasty skulkers Yes i really hope they go with a desert theme here. Another option would be a sky pirates theme making a combo with grotbag.

I was thinking about using the marshall and envoy as the 2 wizards, they seem perfect for the job with a little kitbashing.

I love Warcry. Best GW game at the moment imho. Deserves all the praise it gets at the moment. Hope the rules stay the same for a while.
