    Dankhold Troggoth

    ``` ---------- Warband Roster 975pts | 4 fighters - Clawback (235pts, Hero) - Dankhold Troggoth (375pts, Monster) - Gorger with Great Club (185pts) - Gorger (180pts) ---------- Generated on Warcrier.net ``` You have to keep in mind the monster special rules. They have their own abilities and interactions in the game. The Gorgers dont have much room to play around with. The Kruleboyz got some more options. U could switch one of the neckslicers for another howla, i like the extra movement option in Warcry, it could win games. Hope this helps. Also check out Warcrier, it helps with building lists and gives an overview of the abilities etc. ``` ---------- Warband Roster 995pts | 6 fighters - Beastnob (200pts, Hero) - Dankhold Troggoth (375pts, Monster) - Gnarlwood Howla (125pts) - Neckslicer with Bonehakka (120pts) - Neckslicer with Beaststikka Harpoon (115pts) - Klutcha-grot (60pts) ---------- Generated on Warcrier.net ```
  3. Made it kinda modular. The foam pieces already had these shapes and make out a 23 by 31 board this way.
  4. It looks like a cart with a turret kind of thing on it pulled by rats. Doesnt seem like it contains any of the RE. I am all for a wave of artillery across all factions.
  5. This is a longterm project that needs some gathering of materials and planning and i am in no rush to finish this. I will post progress pictures for sure! (And probably more questions)
  6. I like these too. More laid back and compact reports imho. https://m.youtube.com/@GuerrillaMiniatureGames
  7. This is what i got for the base but i dont actually know how to use this. I have tried making rocks once by covering it with wall filler. Its not ideal but i guess it got the job done before. Any ideas what else could get the job done better? The problem is all the little holes/texture in the foam. I hope it wont be less of a problem here because i still need to cover it with dirt/grass later on.
  8. I was thinking about a fixed board with rocks/ buildings/ trees that i can change around. I dont like the board to be just a flat surface. But i think a Warcry board is a bit to small for anything big like hills or mountains.
  9. What if its not Kurnothi but just new Wanderers. Did they confirm "Kin of the Stag" to be Kurnothi?
  10. I want to try and build my own Warcry board. But i dont know where to start at all. I gathered some packiging materials like foam and cardboard, gathered some wooden coffeesticks to have something to start out with. But i dont actually know where to go from here. Most youtube people use all these expensive things and that is not what i am aiming for here. Anyone got any tips or tricks they want to share?
  11. Sorry could have missed some of those. I remember clearly though that i was confused about the release and what it was about. Might have been just me. Edit: They introduced a new concept. I feel like they treated it just like a model release, but it really wasnt. I think it needed a bit more info.
  12. I do remember this releasing out of nowhere without info. We didnt clearly know what this Thondia book was about. No marketing involved. It was such a weird release and an even weirder followup with the incarnate gallet thing. And possibly even more after that.
  13. For the 500th issue the name will change to the White Duardin.
  14. The tomes kinda force u to buy it for Sylvaneth imho. Its like saying one can play with legends warscrolls. You are just missing out on a bunch of synergy the tome has. And playing without will really cripple youself. Its not like the Gloomspite shrine where is just a fun bonus thing on the battlefield. The tome is not build around it. But that being said, i do like how it works for Sylvaneth, makes it unique in a way.
  15. I would love 2 of those that i missed. Awesome!
  16. Got this bit from lexicanum. Dont know the original source. I think its perfect for a Warcry setting. KO ships would be perfect too imho for that pirate boarding action. "Cogforts come in all shapes and sizes ranging from forts to small cities that travel on either wheels or piston-powered legs, making them appear like immense mechanical arachnids."
  17. I really liked the first set of trees. But they could have moved on and not make another 3 sets with trees.
  18. I am hoping for a new indoor setting like we had with catacombs as the 1.5 edition. It had some real fun gameplay u cant get with an outdoor board. The inside of some Seraphon thing or Cogfort would be an epic followup.
  19. We got 1 box left in the spring slot of the roadmap. I would love to get some more info about the next box soon. I believe we will leave Gnarlwood after that one and move on along with 4th edition AoS. Imho Warcry doesnt really need anything new as the game is awesome in what it already wanted to do. I hope we dont get a new 3.0 set of rules but just cleaned up rules and maybe something fun to add to the game using the next setting like how Underworlds does things. It is a good filler slot for allowing the 4th edition dust to settle and still release something good.
  20. I get what u are saying. But i have to be hopeful because they are not represented by models yet and we are still in the same setting.
  21. Going with BoC vs Spiderfang now for the last one, i changed my mind.
  22. Im going with Kurnothi vs either Bonereapers or Spiderfang (based on Warcry map symbols)
  23. What tier do your think Kragnos belongs to? Hes clearly not Gorkamorka level, maybe Morathi? I wouldnt rate him that much higher than Gordrakk that is said to be an actual avatar of Gorkamorka. Gordrakk is no god though. Im asking because im wondering what he could do besides making earthquakes.
