  1. There has just been a teaser for some new paint thing from citadel posted on warhammer youtube channel. Really reminds me of how they advertised contrast. Says it's coming July, any ideas what more they could invent paint-wise?

Are there any rumors  about when the the new CSM will be preorderable?

Surely this month, cause the free mini You get in June is a Chaos Space Marine. However Horus Heresy is a 3 (I think) week preorder so the CSM will come in the last two weeks of June (I think)

How many Warbands were released with the varying Editions of Warcry? The Varanites and Catacombs and such?

Just trying to gauge how many we may get as it seems 3 so far are Chaos.

Well, there were the initial six (including the starter set) and after some time the Spire Tyrants. Then came Catacombs and two warbands (the fire one and Morathi Aelves). Then another long break and Red Harvest so essentialy it's been a weird pattern of 6 -1 - 2 - 2

  4. BY SOTEK YES! This is the single most exciting rumour engine I have ever witnessed. It belongs to seraphon, no doubts. I love it, it seems to be integrating more of the 'ancient civilization from space' thing, which is very prominent in lore, but not yet in models. I don't think it could be a single hero, the spear doesn't seem ornate enough for that. Warcry warband is a possibility, especially since I remember during the preview online they put emphasis on how the meteors fell and how the jungle are really important for this season/edition of warcry. I'd obviously love it to be a whole range refresh, but tbh I'll take anything that's more than 1 model. Hell, I'll even take the 1 model if that's all. Anyway, now I wonder if through the potential warcry warband they'd  introduce a new unit or refresh an existing one. If the latter is true, I can see it being for a Cold one rider or a basic saurus warrior. Either way, I'm hypeeeeeed!

  5. One thing I hope for is the demon prince kit havings looooads of options. Maybe I'm influenced by Total War Warhammer III but I'd love parts to represent allegiance to each chaos god. I feel like recently GW has been reducing the customisability, but hope that's not the case here. If not that, please just one altrlernate head - I don't hate this one, but a different choice (other from the named version) would be good

  6. Man, I'm not sure how to feel about that. I feel real hype for eventual Malerion aelves/shadow demons, but this is almost 1:1 copy of the warcry shadowstalkers. I guess I don't need to buy them, but still. Speculation-wise I kinda feel like it's pointing to dark aelf soup which I'd like to avoid, but we'll see. Don't get me wrong, they're good looking, dynamic models, but it could be so much more.

The skaven on the other hand are better than anything I expected. Once they become available outside the box, I'm definitely picking them up. I really hope that the full skaven release indeed comes with many models of this quality.

whats the thing in the background? building ruin or beast?

Imma be realistic and just assume it's once again one of the scenery pieces built just for official GW promotional materials and stuff

Also, my opinion on the incarnate is that it's cool. I think that comparing it to the forgeowrld one is a bit wrong: they come from two different settings. The beastly antler-y one is from The Old World where I feel like magic was always rather tangible and material in a way. The new swirly dragon is for AoS where magic is a lot wilder, purer in its form. The realms are made of magic itself and it has more of an identity in realmstone and similar things, so to me it makes sense that an AoS incarnate would be more purely magical.

It also makes me really excited to see incarnates for other realms. My bet is we'll see shyish/death or ghyran/life next, of which I would prefer the first one

  8. I'd like to point out that despite the reveal od two new units for Nighthaunt, these rumour engines reamin unsolved, leading me to believe *snorts copium/warpstone* that our beloved spooky ghosts are going to receive more with their battletome (or a Cursed City expansion)

  9. I just woke up and had a dream that the LVO preview was exclusively AoS, revealing Silent people and some weird new army of Dwarves infected with some kind of The Last Of Us fungus. That means two things.

First, I overdosed on Copium. Second, it's still a more reliable rumour than most of the 4chan leaks.

  10. Ah, the cycle continues

Something cool gets mentioned in the lore -> I start dreaming of it brought into plastic -> other people do that too -> we dream so hard that it gets misinterpreted as a rumour -> some 4chan trolls mention it in their 'leaks' -> rumour is discredited -> hope lives on -> someone breaks it and I realise it was a lie all along

I just want my bug people and shadow demon aelves, Sigmar damn it

  11. Ok, here's my fanfiction theory on how the silent people could fit into death alliance

Basically, through shadespire. Now, my knowledge of underworlds is very limited, but as far as I know, shadespire and nightvault both got kind of merged with beastgrave - the home of silent people. What if the silent people awakened and found the secrets of necromancy, useful to increase the number of their swarms after their slumber, in the shadespire and used it to unleash armies of freaking. Zombie. Bugs. upon the mortal realms
