Man I hope it's possible to build them all with shields/big hammers because I hate how those double hammers look

Does anyone have any idea when the warscrolls for the new warcry ghosts and aelves will show up? I can't wait to see them

And they're a unit of 5 currently. Would make sense to keep it that way imo

I like this modular approach to rules. I mean, it's something my and many other gaming groups have done for years - ignoring certain rules to have more fun, but I'm glad that one can do it with official support now

Curiously, in this picture we can see the old beastlord. Maybe I'm high on copium, but maybe that just means that yes, the current range moves to OW, but AoS beasts get a revamp to fit the new beastlord. I mean, it would be odd to use the old beastlord if the newer one doesn't stay in AoS, right?

It's incredible how much excitement is floating around here, this community is great (even if I mostly lurk) and I truly hope everyone gets what they want in the reveals. Before I go to sleep and wake up to awesome new stuff, I just wanna make a prediction, for the fun of it. I'm betting that we'll see Dawnbringers 6, which will release with Lady of Ruin and the darkoaths. Then, it's gonna be a hero and the basic battleline reveal for Skaven and Stormcast. For Underworlds we'll get a band of human flagellants hinting at what the full unit will look like, and for warcry it'll be ossiarch archers with dogs vs spooky sylvaneth. Until then though, good night to those reasonable enough to sleep, and to those staying up, have a good reveal show

The first thought that came to my mind was nighthaunt, this swooshy blue/green thing is very nighthaunt, so maybe the stormcast are becoming the thing they hate the most (well, there's a few of those actually but you get me)

I just noticed how unique the box design is for Callis and Toll. Could be because they're wh+ tie ins, but I'm also thinking we could be pptentially looking at the box design for 4th edition releases, and I for one would be happy, I like it much better than the current red ones

Where's that cool person that made and updated the list of all the announced things that need to release? Are they safe? Are they alright?

The Spearheads will either release after the 4th edition or in a bit of an empty week, when there aren't many revealed things to be released. I believe that now we still have quite a bit of shown stuff that needs to be released, so I wouldn't get my hopes up for a quick release of those spearheads. Would be glad to be proven wrong though!

Nice to see a chaos warrior in the pin, the stormcast might be the posterboys, but still we have more variety than the endless space marine spam of 40k

Calling it now, Slaves To Darkness will get a box with lady of ruin, 3 old varanguard and 10 new darkoath marauder cavalry. Lumineth I'd be surprised if it's more than just one character, then again it would make sense to add the entire river/water temple Cities seems obvious, Callis and Toll appear too often recently not to get models And funnily enough, the army I collect is the one that confuses me. It's definitely nighthaunt, but doesn't seem to fit at all with the alchemist-y REs we got. Might mean the spookies are getting a bigger wave with at least a hero and a unit which is exciting

Wasn't there supposed to be a stream where Valrak would reveal the content of AoS battleforces? Did it already take place or what happened to that?

As someone who has always been iffy about spending a lot of money on a single model, if the seraphon box has Kroak, I'm absolutely buying it. I think that aggradons would also be a great addition to that. I reckon that both the carnosaur and kroxigors aren't likely to be in there, since they're already in the vanguard.

Just woke up, you know the deal, it's opinion time! 40k/30k: not my thing. When I looked at the marines I literally yawned, but it might be cause it's early lol. One thing I must admit is that today I found out that mark III is my favourite space marine armor. Oh, and like @Twisted Firaun said, this version of fulgrim, more that anything, makes me curious of how effed up he looks 10 millenias later Underworlds: I think my perception of the slaneesh warband might be altered by the fact that when I first saw the silhouette of the bloated one, I thought they were gonna be nautical cthulhu-esque monstrosities, not just slaneeshi demons. Still rather cool, I like that lorefully they hate each other, fitting for demons. And the idoneth are always a hit for me, I need that squid. GW marketing really knows how to get me with those sea critters Warcry: I'm very happy gorgers are finally getting renewed, even if they're not my cup of tea. Guess it means I'm gonna have to split the box with someone, because I still want/need the doggos and the star wars tatooine terrain is cool too AoS proper: E-R-A O-F T-H-E B-E-A-S-T!!! Finally it earns its name. The troggoth is very impressive, definitely a centerpiece for the gitz. Painting hin would be a nightmare though lol. Ironjawz are now a proper, great army. I'm also pleasantly surprised that the rules supplememt is free. The ardboyz are an absolute gem and have my supressing me urge to buy random units from armies I don't play. And my reactions to the brutes can only be conveyed through a meme:

Interestingly enough, I think that it's the first ever case of a stormcast miniature being directly remade/replaced. Unless they keep selling the old Neave too. Anyway, I think it does increase the possibility of 1st edition stormcast getting retired in favour of new stormstrike versions. Also, I think those minis go incredibly hard. I love the crossbow lass, but the idoneth is undeniably my fave.

That's a wonderfully eclectic bunch of characters, exactly what I hoped for from cities. And the mascot thingy is adorable. Not sure I love the cannon, might be the angle, but the shield things make it a bit too busy for me, so much that before reading the name I didn't know it was a cannon. Also, I really want higher quality shots now, cause I wanna se the creature that is with the soul sheperd. Overall love it though, just one or two more infantry units and it's be a very good, complete range that I'll most likely buy into at some point.
