I stand that, as much as gender representation is great and there is literal 0 reason for every faction to be dominated by male-presenting models, for the love of all that is holy and good do not make brood mothers canon. bleach the existence of brood mothers from existence. we do not need something that makes the fimir lore look tame by comparison

The articles keep saying 'launch box" and not 'starter set' - so 99.9% we're going to follow the 9th structure of 'big launch box' then starter set release a few weeks later with a Small Box, Box and Box with Terrain. I'm also putting money now we end up with a made-to-order announcement before it's even released. 'We've made more than any box than before (even Indomitus) but if you miss out, you can order one' kinda deal. After Cursed City and Indomitus, would be silly to not. - In terms of wild beasts, I'd love a narrative 'twist' system ala Warcry. 'pull a card any card and find out if there is a lightning storm or some roaming monsters kicking around'

I guess GW is trying to counteract charge interactions making blobs the go-to playstyle by making 'elite' units more powerful... Because those Blood Knights look absolutely nasty

Fimir, giant cyclopean lizard-things with clubbed tails, in a world where GW just released vampires, skeletons and zombies in an edition where the main villains were ghosts and our big faction releases have included trolls and goblins isn't holding up imo. If anything, AOS thrives as a world with generic fantasy (blackpowder pistols, dragons, vampires, goblins) and absolutely bonkers fantasy (soul stealing shark-riding elves, giant cow mountain elementals, the entire skaven faction, lightning-riding immortal demigods)

I could see the 'tribal swamp Hobgoblins' being an evolution of the FW Destruction aesthetic. I want skinny creepy half-goblin-half-orcs riding around on swamp monsters - chariots on the back of two-headed giant tortoises - focused around worshipping Godbeasts and that's why they're so obsessed with Kraggy. Fimir would fit right in. They can fit the role Troggoths play in Gloomspite - just big hunks of meat. I don't want classic Greenskins - they already did. They split that into different factions already with Ironjawz, Bonesplitters and the three current flavour of Goblin. Plus, a new Incarnate of Beasts - which is unironically FW's best model and I will personally turn up to anyone who says otherwise.

The only thing left to do is get GW to stop making Eavy Metal paint SCE as Blue/Gold and we can finally stop people screaming sigmarine every 5 seconds Looking at them side-by-side, the headswap won't look crazy too so the one singular gripe I'm seeing looks like an easy fix

Do we know yet if a company has greenlit the Eisenhorn series btw? Thinking of any IP, would we not have seen an announcement from the production company first before GW showcases anything? I doubt its a house production and I doubt TV execs would not want to handle marketing. I know we're all expecting it, but lets hold out hope that tonight won't be an advertisement for Netflix/Prime/Whatever Company GW sold TV rights to just yet lads and lasses.
