  1. Starter Sets, outside of those on the 'exclusive' sprue - Boltboyz, Bannerboy and Gnashtoof If betting on - Swampcrawla/Gutrippers for 'Basic' Then Killaboss/Gutripper/Hobgrots for 'Bigger' Vs Imperetant/Vindicators Then Mage/Vindicator/Halberds for 'Bigger'
  2. Reckon we're at an end yet lads or do we reckon we got more to come?
  3. I'd assume the 'non special character' version will be something like 'Killaboss on Sludgeraker' or something? EDIT : 'Snatchaboss on Sludgeraker Beast'... was close I guess
  4. That Lord Commander has removed any hesitation of SCE singlehandedly. Not a big fan of the Relictor... He seems to have the OldCast proportion issues
  5. The postie has been - dominion has arrived. Now to wait for gator dragon fiasco at 6pm
  6. Possibly Battletome release? Possibly a WD supplement?
  7. I wonder if the Hobgrot 'Wolf' Calvary will be the Gnashtoofs? The 'Great Gnashtoof' seems to infer that there is other not-so-great Gnashtoofs kicking around somewhere. The Del Toro original concepts for The Hobbit are a forgotten gem and it's upsetting what could have been. Here is to hoping GW manages to use some of them if they ever decide to build out the Middle Earth range. Though, even as Whitefang was hinting months ago, fairly clear where the inspiration comes from with the Kruelboyz. This is definitely not a Mire Troggoth...
  8. Twitter post from WarCom saying the 'glimpse into the future of AOS' preview seems to me at least to imply this is going to very much be the AOS equivalent of the Indomitus launch stream. Safe to expect lots of AOS goodness?
  9. I wonder if BoC's update will remove God-Marked units? Would solve the Tzaangor issue and, with coalitions, a '1/4 units can be a BoC unit from X'. Would also explain why Slaangors ain't appearing in GHB2021 or getting FAQ'd in... I'd also wonder if StD will get some form of ruling over it - currently Belakor's big 'chaos daemons in AOS' shenanigans are impossible, but add in some coalition of 'If Belakor is your general, you can include Daemon units from X' could solve that. Honestly though, I'm actually really excited.
  10. Fauxhammer just posted the last contents of the MR magazine. Issue 79/80 has the sprues for the Celestant Prime. It isn't with the base (that's in an issue with a Mortis Engine base in 78) For those who are in the UK, the issues will set ya back ~£16, so if you're after a cheap centrepiece at more than half the price, grab it whilst its hot
  11. I suspect the STD kits were designed at some point for a 2nd/3rd edition starter that was scrapped later, or a test for ETB battleboxes. Across both ranges, the only 'exclusive SC' models are either the reboxed starters from 1.0, the SM/CSM rebox from 40k and the Wight King in SBGL. Apart from the Wight King, all the others appeared first in a starter or battlebox. Or they would be - if it wasn't for the STD box. Either STD was a test to see whether to make the SC boxes more 'bespoke' - or the STLs were just brought out after being designed for something else entirely
  12. I'm saying about the start/mid August - July, so far, rounds off Dominion + Beastsnaggas, and I don't think there is much else outside of what we know will come w/ Battletomes (Chariot, Troggoth etc.) I'd be hesitant to think AOS will get any lions share. Wouldn't surprise me to see an Underworlds announcement or Warcry potentially, but a month after the edition launch I'd doubt it'd be much outside of "here is the Vanquishers or a Lord-Maguffin' and 'here is the Mouth of Mork'. They drip fed Necrons and Space Marines for months last year - up until Pariah Nexus iirc. Potentially a rough roadmap of battletomes ('Maggotkin will come next then...') If rumours are to be believed and our first of the new armies will come Q4, I'd expect to hear nothing until atleast October
  13. At £50, it's about £25 for 'content' if you're in the market for a Megaboss or Vindicare. It's tempted me now... Another Megaboss never hurt anyone...
  14. With the very classic WFB Greenskin inspiration, I could see something akin to the Wyvern for Kruelboyz. Extend the jaw and it's an alligator too
  15. I'd hope we'd get Sigmar over Grungi as the CoS/Stormcast god model. I mean - the himbo is right there with his hammer and, frankly, its a travesty I can not make He-Man vs Skeletor happen on the tabletop. He'd probably be half the size of the other god centrepieces - I'd imagine about Robute Gulliman size for that Primarch Conversion possibility - but undoubtably it's an Emperor of Mankind situation were the one important guy never shows up...
  16. Looks like the only thing that currently exists about 'dragon emperors' is The Dragon Emperor of Cathay and Emperor Dragons from Storm of Magic. The others are all links to existing model pages too. Either a WarCom writer trying to make a nice round four... Or something is amiss
  17. And it'll be one of the few times it's limited to 1 per account too - because this time, no scalping the exclusives. If the people want *exclusive cool space marine man from tv show or something*, they will pay the monthly fee
  18. If it is like 'hey a free exclusive model a month/quarter' then i'd be down. £5/£20 a few months for a fun piece seems alright. If it's 'subscribe and you can have the chance to buy' ? Jog on
  19. Judging by their points cost being almost 70 under Judicators and the cheapest there bar Liberators, possibly some very weak ranged unit?
  20. Nurgle vs someone then? Order vs Destruction launch box, so want to say Chaos vs Death to round off the 'four GA launch' trifecta. Ossiarch Betatesters are the big 'fish out of water' with everyone getting unrelenting discipline with the way CP works now... Rotty Boys vs Boney Boys?
  21. Either AOS is nowhere near as popular as I thought (~30/40% of all GW) or they really managed to pump out copies. Did CC walk so Dominion could fly? All I know is I'm seeing a whole lot less anger today than I thought I would see
  22. Hearing good things on avaliability front. Best of luck on preorder, boys girls and nbys
  23. Seems like the rest of the world is being shafted tbf bc UK stockists seem to have been given a lot of stock. Alchemists Workshop went from being told 150 was too high and they'd recieve 60 to now having 300. Feel sorry for global hobbyists rn. Looks like Brexit finally paid off for the random case of a board game stock allocation?
  24. Honestly, some of these points feel already like day 1 FAQ EDIT : My current favourites are the Greater Daemons because OH GOLY GEE Rotigus is now cheaper than a GUO, Shalaxi is cheaper than a Keeper of Secrets and Skreech being cheaper than two of the default Verminlords by like 20 points... Oh, on the topic of Verminlords, the 80 point difference between the Corruptor and the Deciever - or double the current gap Weirdly tho, this isn't even a consistent theme with Skarbrand still priced 100 points over all Bloodthirsters and the only one thats stayed vaguely concistent is Kairos.
