  1. Why? You just need one. Auxiliaries I guess
  2. Looks like another seaside RE. GW please, stop the deepkin baits and release something for us
  3. Is funny to see people getting angry because maybe the dwarfs are being souped and, at the same time, hoping for elves to merge.
  4. My poor Harlequins want to have a chat with you
  5. I don't have inside information like our pair of Whitefangs or know GW as good as Nezzhil, but since we knew that we were going to have an index edition, I imagined that would be where they were going to make the big changes like squatting or merging. They have the chance to start from 0 and start the game they want and sometimes you need to prune the trees so new leaves can grow. Nothing about squatting boc, bones, spiders, delves or dispossesed; or merging dwarves or something like dok+idk would surprise me much. (And I' not saying I think any of those can happen or that I want to)
  6. We are still recovering from boC's extinction, and now we have to face the dwarf unification debacle.
  7. We, Drukhari players, have been using Namartis for years to play as Mandrakes, so the circle is completed
  8. The need to fill almost 3 months of articles, let them cook
  9. If Spearhead uses plain core rules they can't add nothing, because that addition should carry on when putting modules in, in this case magic one, so wizards will have "magic ability" plus spells and or one of those is weak or the model is going to be overpowered.
  10. In the frist article of this week, in the video, they talked about prayers coming in the indexes
  11. But that is not different to the actual way they do things. Weapon ranges were not working at the beggining of the edition, then they changed it in the second ghb adding the battallion that lets you fight in two files. Or magical-dominance armies are a problem because my poor little wizards can’t cast a ****** or dispel anything, so they introduced primal dices in our last ghb. I mean, if you are right and erratas like we had this week with dw4 and fec are paywalled the game is gonna be doomed, but I think that this is about big switches in core mechanics via ghb, like we already have.
  12. I think Matt explained it in the worst possible way. A change in the economy of command points is not an errata or even a balance you can get in a quarter faq set, is a big change in the mechanics of the game, so instead of applying layers of little patches to try to fix ir, they can scrap entirely the system and rewrite it from the ground, creating a new “module” that can full replace the one that is not working. And if the fix is not working you can make a new one or come again to the first one without needing to undo all faqs/erratas o revise faqs/erratas in a dozen of pdfs. That is how I understand the statement.
  13. No, erratas come 1-2 months after each book, including battletomes, ghb's, core rules and campaign rules, plus 4 sets of erratas each year in the quarters.
  14. The pendulum was not invoked in Ulgu for Morathi to kill Malerion?
  15. Yeah I know I know, I made a meta example about the problem, but can happen to everyone. Tzeentch's endless spell became a core part of their book, if you don't have them, you can't play it at 100%. Chalice in FeC unlocked a new way of building a list, same with stormcast and meteor or Nh with the auto-cast; Sylvaneth needed theirs until the release of belthanos (and still take it), Khorne needs all of them, same as Fyreslayers. You are going to feel that your list is missing something. With sceneries is even worse. Is impossible to play without scenery in Gloomspite, BoC, Sylvaneth or Nurgle, is a big hit in your list for idoneth, khorne or ogors. They are such a integral part of some strategies/armies/playstyles that the lack of stock causes frustration.
  16. The problem with endless spells is the same as faction scenery. Suddenly one of them becomes meta relevant (purple sun, malevolent, umbra, hell, even vortex in second edition) and you discover that there is any stock of them for months and second market price went to the moon, so you can't play it. The gw nerfs it, the stock came back and you don't even need it.
  17. They can choose to give them one statline for melee another one for ranged or make 2 different warscrolls. More interesting are the dracoths and paladins for stormcast, because everyone of them have different abilities. Maybe GW merge them? Maybe keep separating warscrolls? Maybe they are going away?
  18. Yes, like Cryptguard, all weapons with the same statline.
  19. I think you need to pick the "endless lore" to use them and reject your faction lore, so I suspect that nobody will do that
  20. Oh yeah, I'm not saying delves are going to dissapear this summer, but is just a matter of time.
  21. I'm looking at fantasy models and, for me, every pre endtimes model is just a filler until they refresh it or is going to get cutted.
  22. Delves are in danger aswell, like older human minis like the tanks, the chicken or the flagellants. Same with spiders in Gloomspite or Bonesplitterz, maybe graveguard and such and the skink range. To be honest, I think everything pre endtimes can leave AoS at some point.
  23. And the sad faces of Singapur WG, even Rob (that was the first one) if you want to add him to the mix. Every known leaker is pointing that BoC are going to say goodbye to AoS soon, with any replacement or refresh, just a goodbye.
  24. If BoC get an index that means they survive all the edition.
