Speaking of that, are there any other good review sites out there? I really, really want to like GMG, but damn, the main host just makes too many assumptions and rushes through words too much to make their content enjoyable/useful to me.
I'd love to find a (professional, money-making) site that understands that not all their viewers are longtime players and that uses hosts that can speak well. I mean, if you make money using words, use your words well. Ya know?
Suggestions?
Goonhammer? They focus a bit more on the competitive side of things tho

The crimson court models are on 32mms I think - same will be for vamp lords on foot
Except the previewed vamp lord on foot is very definitely not on 32mm anymore
-
I would also like to point out that the new vampire lord has a much bigger base, looks like 40 or 50mm? That definitely means a change in warscroll, hopefully for the better.

At least they were pretty. And now we know about 3.0 for sure!

I predict Dire Wolves in boxes of 10. Skellies and Zombos in boxes of 20. Calling it here and now.
You are far more optimistic than I about the skellies and zombies

Step 1. Complain about Elf releases and the LRL.
Step 2. Complain about how you dislike others getting attention for their elf toy soldiers.
Step 3. Complain about someone saying you're a constant complainer (in a silly way) in the Rumours thread. Ok buddy 😂.
Regarding the CC box set. I think it was meant to definitely help get people interested in SBGL and stop early models to start but I am really hoping for something for along the lines of a promo boxset. I imagine it would be really hard for GW to fill the demand for the SBGL at this time with their production capabilities but right now I am all in on the army as long as it isn't too expensive. If Skellies come in 10 packs etc and no promo box set I may wait for the future and then 'Bite' 🧛♂️ the bullet.
Thankfull it looks like we might be getting cheaper battleline (on the wallet anyway) in Dire Wolves, but yeah, scared that zombies and skellies are gonna come in 10's. When was the last time minis came in 20's anyway? Mortek?

At this point I'm hoping against hope that the Crimson Court get a half decent warscroll so I'll have an excuse to grab the new generic vamp lord

less so than with Kritza or Annika. Cursed City already has a version of Radukar, and this new beastly radukar is on too large a base to fit on the cursed city grid.
Kritza and Annika are both on cavalry bases too, not really suited for cursed city. They might be from ulfenkarn but the articles never mention the board game otherwise.

Vargheists are likely to stay in right? X.x

Wouldn't be hugely obvious. The fact that there are two days of 40k doesn't mean that one of those days is dedicated to a new edition.
Sure, but it's also the final day, and generally they've always saved what they consider best or 'biggest' for last when announcing these things

No mention of vamp foot troops 😢

Was this originally posted before or after Anika and Kritza were shown?

There is a possibility that it's a kitbash using the character creation rules.

INTERESTING
Usually the WD articles relating to AoS are watered down, fun takes on things in the respective factions. Perhaps this pic might lead us to believe its as simple as we get two types of Vampire lord? I know we shouldn't read too much from this, but bestial companions and different mounts seems very sexy.
'If you like the idea of creating your own characters then you’re in luck, as Anvil of Blood provides you with guidelines to do just that for a Necromancer, Wight King, and your choice of Martial or Arcane Vampire Lord.'
'You also receive a number of destiny points which you can spend on adding nuanced skills, upgrades, and equipment, and you can even accompany your deathly lord of choice with a bestial companion, or mount them atop a monstrous or esoteric steed.'
This seems to be an extension of the Anvil of Apotheosis from the GHB 2020, so I wouldn't read that much into it I'm afraid. Unless 3.0 is adding hero customization for matched play and we're the first book to get it? But that sounds too pie in the sky to me

I can't see much past that blur but I love her already

Hopefully the book is fluffy, fun and makes various builds viable but nothing op. I don't want SBG to be on par with Lumineth, I just want it to not be an absolute train wreck.
******' amen mate. Something that is fluffy and full of choices like DoK and isn't all overcosted mortal-wounds-on-sixes like Hedonites would be great

If they could release the units at all, they wouldn't have cancelled the cursed city expansions in the first place. The problem ~seems~ to be production pipeline issues. They literally cannot get as many models produced and distributed as they had previously planned, so they have to cancel several releases outright, and cursed city got the axe - which is bad news for gravelords who were likely sharing a significant portion of their new range with cursed city. Hard to say for sure if that's what's going on because GW isn't being honest about it. But it doesn't look like models were cancelled because cursed city died, it looks like the opposite. Cursed city died because they had to cancel the models.
If that's what's going on, then we'll still get blood knights, fell bats, probably new skeletons & zombies. But the faction might end up delayed to make time to reprint the battletome without cursed city stuff. And we might never get Kritza or Annika, might never get AoS rules for gravekeepers or Vargskyrs or Blood-born or ogre zombies outside of the slapdash warscrolls that came in Cursed City. If they're actually looking for potential releases they can drop without causing a fuss, we might also not see the new dire wolves people have been speculating about, or indeed anything we haven't already seen.
If that were the case they would have removed the articles for Kritza and Annika for a start, which they also still have referenced in new Soulblight Articles, which while they have links to Ulfenkarn, were not necessarily Cursed City expansion releases. Says that nowhere in those articles either.
Also, all the models IN Cursed City are push-fit, if we are getting those models, especially of bloodborn or Vargskyr, they'd likely be multi-part releases never intended for the side game(s) at all. Not to mention that Cursed City was meant to release WAY before we'd even have known of the Soulblight tome (which the only reason we knew about so early in Jan was because of a leak, CC was supposed to be released in November according to some stuff in it). I think you're doomsaying a bit here mate.- 6
