I am not certain about the unit of two as the body, tail and hind legs look similar in each picture. It is possible that they included an additional set of wings, arms and heads and various options for riders to sell at a premium hoping people will purchase multiples. 3.0 has a number of rules about units consisting of a single model not being able to be reinforced as well and it could apply to units of Stormdrake Guard. I am not arguing that this is the case as my initial reaction was also a unit of two, but the wording in the article is actually fairly vague about actual unit sizes... unless it has been cleared up in an edit? Which happens on Warhammer Community fairly often. I do really hope it is a two model box though as they are amazing and I will likely only grab a single box for budget and space purposes.

As for Thunderstrike being SCE Primaris, only time will tell but the reality is simply that each edition there will be a new wave of Stormcast and there will of course be a saturation point. Maybe they will update the sculpts of liberators one day or replace them entirely, but so long as you are not overly concerned about specific models and your opponent isn't an absurd stickler, it will be easy enough to clarify that your old Liberators are a unit of the new Latine Sermo Lightning Fists!

If it's two models per box I'll be disappointed if unit sizes are two, and the only way to get the hero is that box. it's just weird and leaves a model randomly hanging. If the unit size is one though? Might make sense for flying cavalry, and I believe there is a specific rule for single models, but not necessarily units of 1? Unsure though

"Expect floods of informative articles, exclusive model reveals, and all the biggest news from the bleeding edge of all things Warhammer right here on Warhammer Community. "
SCE and Kruleboyz models reveals without a preview? Or something totally different?

Possibly the Thousand Sons hero that has yet to be shown, or if Grey Knights are actually getting an update? Unlikely though, would like it to be more SCE and OW model reveals rather

  3. I think part of it is how they're just painted like the rest of the model, but make them more maskish/death masky and suddenly it's a lot more interesting to me personally.

In other news, I really do hope we get more AoS new inbetween the Ork and Kill Team stuff, like it's nice we know that OW and SCE are due next month but I'd like some sense of where this is going honestly. The crusade packs in 40k have been some of the most interesting content for me, so I hope we get something like it for Path to Glory

I've been traveling the last day and a half. But finally got around to seeing all of the points updates. I really do think Gravelords is in a super solid spot now. Heck, I played Gravelords in a one day tournament a week ago using 2.0 rules and I finished second. BIG STONKS on Gravelords boys and girls!

Oooh, what list did you use? :D

Anyone has any rumours about point changes in AOS 3.0?

just that apparently everything but Soulblight and Slaanesh is getting adjustments more or less. It's a bit weird the GHB hasn't been shown but everything else is at this point.

If points jump and horde discounts disappear you do potentially get smaller faster games but isnt the flip side lower model sales? If i cant field 120 clan rats, an army of 5 stonehorn/thundertusks or 12 eels I won't buy them. The increased focus on points efficiency will also rule out many units from making the board at all.  I wonder if there is an apocalypse type format in the works to compensate.

I mean, this is exactly what they just did in 40k. Generally speaking most people are going to have more than they need, how many people get to 2k points in an army and then stop collecting that army? Sure they might stop getting specific models but people like variety

A Triple turn with enough command points? GW have make some silly rules in the past but this one would actively stop people playing the game and buying models. I'd love to see the source of as frankly i dont believe it. Any army that can generate enough CP to do it effectively wins the game. There is no coming back from a triple turn by an opponent and if it happens you may as well go have a cup of tea and watch TV or just start putting your models back in their case.

You might want to read the rest of the post 😜

I definitely think that if Command Points are more plentiful our book is a lot better off, since so much of the buffs revolve around Command Abilities. I HAVE to think that "generals" will play a role in some form or fashion in regards to command points.

Which makes Vyrkos even stronger if that's the case
