I think the executioner ghoul is lowkey one of my favorites from the entire reveal, aside from Ushoran
It really embodies the descent from man to ghoul, from the remaining vestiges of clothing, the cowl, and the horrifically neglected axe that matches attire, it really makes the descent into madness seem that much more potent in this piece here.
Ushoran has been in a Ossiarch jail for quite a while now per the dawnbringer stories, it would be kinda weird to have him be a part of Nagash's trusted companions.
I think that we will see Ushoran as an independent death leader, and a new FeC Mortarch will come. It will also mirror the FeC delusions and how Nagash is portrayed, some see him as a benevolent god while others perceive him as a carrion overlord that must be avoided at all cost.
Quite interesting that the article implies that the new judge Character sometimes sees the world for what it really is, and puts the courtiers that notice this phenomenon on a rigged trial.
Wonder how this will work in the narrative going forward. Maybe some FEC quite like this delusion and are aware of it's existence.
Imotekh Is such a letdown. His new model is too similar to the regular Necron overlord, both design wise and because he now has the generic Necron color scheme. The older model's paint scheme helped him stand out, and his "face" gave the impression of a scowl with how it was hidden behind his shoulder.
the Claws of Karanak were also teased by the rumor engine a few days before they were revealed in full. So there is a precedent for models teased so close to a reveal show, to then be shown off.
Nobody knows. People are just speculating about a secret fifth book because the Arks of Omen books for 40k had a surprise reveal of a fifth book in that series.
Ehh, i dunno about this one. Carry cases with metal sheathing on the various floors allow you to store a higher quantity of miniatures and they won't move and inch as long as you have a decent magnet underneath them.
Maybe these cases are more beginner friendly, but with how detailed minis are these days I just don't see the advantage with these new ones.
Maybe the CoS terrain isn't actually from a model kit. When the ossiarchs launched they had some great terrain pieces appearing in pictures of the army, but after the full launch gw revealed that the terrain was custom built by the eavy metal team. Maybe it is the same story here
Trugg is such a tragic character. A victim of circumstances outside of his control, eternally tormented by a green little git and forced on an eternal quest to quench the pain in his mind.
