Thanks for @Chikout to pointing me there (note to self always read articles down to the last sentence).

The new free Warcry campaign based on the Broken Realms has this gem in it:

This campaign marks the beginning of regular Warcry content we’ll be uploading to Warhammer Community, so keep your eyes peeled next month when we’ll be sharing a campaign that ties into the events from Broken Realms: Teclis.

    Hype mode —— INCREASE!

How exciting! Confirms BR Teclis is coming in March alongside Lumineth can’t wait for my blademasters and wind stuff

I'd be interested in results pertaining to aesthetics and design.

    Examples being:

•Do you prefer the low fantasy / high fantasy design of, let's say undead for one, Ossiarch bonereapers as compared to the more traditional Deathrattle or what we've seen of Gravelords?

•Do you like a consistent theme across your army such as Fyreslayers or more of a mix like Cities of Sigmar or Orruk warclans with the two very opposite designs of Ironjawz and Bonesplitterz paired together?

    • What age range are you? I'm curious as to the preference of older to younger fans on this topic.

•Horde or smaller elite force composition?

    Just a suggestion.

That seems like a great topic to cover thank you I’ll keep it in mind for next week

Most consumer research in relation to pricing shows that people initially increase their spending, but then the spending equalizes at about the same rate after the emotional impact of the initial discounting subsides. Humans react to the idea of getting a deal, but their expectations very quickly realign with the new pricing scheme.

GW's pricing model is basically directly imported from other low utility, consumption based industries, where its difficult to increase demand, but easy to increase short term hype. You can see the change in their financials when they switched from low volume/large releases, to high volume/small releases somewhere around the last few years of the Kirby Era where it became about selling out every new release, every month, via trade and digital. The newest model is interesting, but tied to their much improved manufacturing where they have a high volume of releases, that have a ton of plastic content. I'm curious to see the impact in the financials a year out, and if they can keep it up without leaving lots of money in people's pockets from lack of supply.

What would bother me is if it keeps increasing it will cause a lot more people to buy less I think

happy to see 75% are now buying at the retailers. #WOKE

It’s interesting I am certainly one who has moved over as direct prices are too high. I’d support them more if prices were lower and data seems to support that.

I’ve sent these results over to GW out of interest of their response. Im unrealistically hoping it shows them people would spend more if they had better prices but I’m expecting some generic response. At the end of the day they see the raw figures this is such a minor segment of the consumer.

I would love to see Sylvaneth and the Kurnothi expanded but after the Lumineth I'm personally hoping we take a break from Aelves for bit, Malerions Aelves I'm not expecting until late 2022.

As someone who collects Idoneth and Lumineth I’d also like it if they focus on something else although I wouldn’t mind more Idoneth I’d argue Lumineth are now pretty complete and there are lots of armies that are dated or have half the model count. My wallets aching thinking about Lumineth wave 2

Actually a very interesting connection. Alarielle trapped him inside an unbreakable chaos repellent ruby in End Times, still not aware how he got out (kind of inverse Morathi - Slaanesh)

Looks like it’s alarielle next then so they can duke it out

This guys is going to be massive!! Nothing a good stomp wont deal with of course!!

I hope he releases alongside a Broken Realms novel as I hope hes not too far away.

I wonder how he will fit into the story if it’s supposed to be alarielle

BR teclis has all the new warscrolls though. We know that next week the new Kill team box will be on the preorder so the first week is Warhammer40k Then I guess a Warcry warband and BR Teclis themed boxes (like the bloodsurf hunt, brechts patrol etc.) but no Lumineth range then Drukhari codex (confirmed they are coming in march by the FB comment) and the last weeek of march full Lumineth release would be my guess.

That’s along the lines of where I’m thinking as the turn around from full reveal to release is about a month and a bit. At least with slaanesh

Is there any indication as to the release dates for the preview today. Thought all the models looked superb.

Well we are due to go back to weekly releases in March as GW said it would only be Jan and Feb. With that in mind and releases typically going back and forth I’m thinking next release is the seraphon warband start of match maybe alongside the BR Teclis book and boxes, then the third week of March maybe being the Lumineth releases

    Probably March or April

I’m thinking it’s killzone on pre order next Saturday then they might split this release in half with BR Teclis, Battle tome, BR boxes, half the models then two weeks after the rest of it

or release all the BR stuff first then the Lumineth stuff second

Expect the new cavalry to be in the £40s it seems to be where GW is going with prices for mounted units :(

I’m hoping not but to be honest they look huge compared to the horses in the video so if they have more stuff for the money I’m partial.

Good find, indeed confirms IMO the BR series is only about Aelves. I also don't think Malerion will come soonish.

Very interesting either way, I encourage every one to read those WD articles about the three Ages, the Godbeasts and the nature of the Gods in the AOS universe.

BTW I'm afraid too we won't see lumineth today...

AOS : Gravelords partial reveals + anniversary model Gardus ?

    WHU : Savages Orruks + teaser ?

WHQ : main set full reveal ?

    CAN'T WAIT :D :D

There’s apparently 5 private videos three of which are AOS related so hoping for Lumineth
