  1. @cbok yeah, I'd like to have both of those things, plus two units of Wrathmongers lol

    But sacrifices have to be made, and that list is mainly about harnessing the Knights' raw linebreaking power on the charge with a very solid anvil. In fact I could give the Knights +2 to hit, but it's unnecessary overkill and I think I'll run the Warshrine with Bronzed Flesh for the Warriors instead.

    Yes, this. They're by far my favourite hammer unit now. They average 50 dmg against a 4+ foe with 3 easy buffs:

    - Secrator

    - The Knights of Chaos

    - Undivided Warshrine blessing

    But they need a screening unit. I would use Centigors, but their monetary cost is stupid and offensive:

    Yeah for sure. Works great when battle lines have just closed in on each other. Some killing will have already taken place when I activate the magic cat, but thereafter my characters and MSU units can all have a crack at whatever unit I've neutered without fear of being wiped out in between activations. I really dig it.

    Normally I'd use a Chaos Lord on foot instead (commanding 5 Chaos Chosen to attack twice before the mind-controlled unit gets to) but now that the Thermalrider Cloak is gone I'm finding him very hard to use effectively...

    I really love these models. Such a great kit with all the little add-ons like strapped javelins, chains, skulls etc.

    It was so unnecessary and bizarre to hike them like they did. It's not like Ruinbringer chaff spam was sweeping the podiums, nor even featuring in that many lists. SMH.

    I'm an idiot. Sorry, I didn't read the post properly. Yeah, I think that the removal of the Sword of Judgement and Runic/Dimensional Blade are the final justification for me to just take the Crimson Crown on him every time, and armed with an axe. His command is just too good.

    Isn't just natural that different people, different genders, different nations focus on different things? Why would artificial parities be better than natural distribution?

    GW is a corporation. Profit is their prime motivation. Opening the hobby to new cohorts of customers is just sensible. I would guess that's actually the main business reason for pushing inclusivity. If there are people there in decision-making roles who genuinely care about how sometimes excluded or marginalised groups of people actually feel about engaging with the hobby, all the better.

    That said, do you actually lose anything in the process? Are you concerned about (eventually) becoming part of a minority group yourself? If so, that could be quite revealing in itself...

    The additional generated hit already hits the target. You move straight onto To Wound rolls after that. There's no chance of generating additional hits again.

    In celebration of the throttling of Endless Spells and aftersaves, I was thinking of using both in quantity, with Liberators and masses of birds to claim objectives and gum up the board, but someone told me it was unfriendly. 🙂

    I really like the Crimson Crown on that Thirster. It's gold. And I would just pump every CP into the Reapers command.

    You're very thin on screens and units - hell, more of those quick Murderhost hounds would be good for screening and capping. 

    But it's low drops, super aggressive and rich in CPs. Looks like awesome fun. I reckon a lot of opponents will panic in some way.

    Yeah it says every WIZARD in the army may select a spell, so I don't see why that wouldn't include Horrors. Every single wizard gets a spell.
