Also the year of an edition launch is normally only the two starter factions and some single model battletomes/codexes. Early 2025 is the first I would expect anything big that isn't Stormcast/Skaven and I wouldn't expect a new faction before middle/late 2025

I think its pretty likely there was a new army planned originally since we haven't actually gotten a new one this edition, while Kruleboyz could basically count as one they are still a subfaction after all. Other than that we got many big faction wide refreshes but no new faction. And while AoS has quite a few factions already there is still space for a few more. So I think its likely that there was a new one planned but due to all the delays it would likely be pushed too close/into 4th so they just completely moved it into 4th.

Isn't normal terrain also produced in china? While I can see endless spells and to a lesser extend faction terrain going away, GW just completely abandoning any terrain doesn't seem right with me. And if some terrain will be produced in the UK now why not everything?

The Necron one that was recently revealed was 2021 so at least not 4 years long

So I just did another look through @Ejecutor excellent new rumour engine website and most of the rumour engines seem to be solved after a maximum of ~460 days. There are quite a lot that took around 400 days but only 8 that took longer. Of those the four longest ones (800 days+) all where released during 2020 in the first months of the pandemic so it would make sense if thsoe models where originally planned to be released earlier. But those four also just belonged to two kits which are the 2022 Boxing Day Ghoul King and the year two Warhammer+ Chaos Sorcerer so two "event" minis which aren't regular releases. Of the other four long time rumour engines one is also from the Ghoul King just one year later than the his other two rumour engines. Another one is the Necron Overlord with 713 days where I could see it originally being planned for some expansion/crusade book during 9th edition 40k maybe even the Pariah nexus book that only got announced at the end of november last year even thought the Pariah Nexus was the focal point of 9th edition? So maybe some form of that book was originally planned way earlier during 9th and coming with that Overlord but that was scrapped, the book repurposed into a 10 edition release and the Overlord moved to the 10th edition codex release. That leaves two more rumour engines which where 556/510 days until solved which both came out relatively close to each other in 2017 (February/May) and where the Ork Kustom Boosta Blasta and one model of the Rouge Trader Kill Team. So I could see that something also happened in 2017 which delayed those two for a while. All in all rumour engines normally don't take longer than 1,5 years until they are solved. Of those still unresolved only two come close to that which is the spider incarnate one with 479 days and the second oldest directly after that one with 416 days. For the spider incarnate it already seems like something went wrong so that would explain why it's taking so long but the 416 days one is interesting. While it isn't yet in the range of unusually long, its not that far off and I also don't think its part of any of the teased models? So I'm quite interested what it will turn out to be whenever it will actually be revealed.

Not 2 years yet, just 1 year and 4 months. And after that Necron rumour engine that actually took 2 years to be revealed its not really that strange

Looking great, if I can wish for one improvement it would be that the external links automatically open in a new tab instead of the same one as it has happened a few times now that I mistakenly clicked on one and when going back the filters and scolling position are gone. And while it would be quite a bit of additional work it would be nice to also get a link to the article/reveal show the model was revealed at in addition to the webstore link

Votann didn't receive anything but there are rumours of a bigger second wave with their codex so it doesn't necessarily need to be the same year.

These prices don't sound too bad at first, pretty close/a bit less than the Horus heresy prices which are also cheaper than normally per model but you also need more models than 40k for that game. But then again the HH plastics are all brand new kits while only 1-2 kits per faction is a new plastic kit here. Also shows how much is still in resin/metal since each faction only has three kits and their big box on here, everything else is resin or metal so isn't available to independent stores. (Which also means no discounts) And for Bretonnia its even worse since two of those three kits are also in the big box so basically only the big box and a single plastic kit. And I still have the same problem with that in that Tomb Kings and Bretonnia are the flagship factions for TOW. They are the Stormcast vs Kruleboyz / Space Marines vs Tyranids of this edition. I would expect them to get the most new stuff. So I wouldn't be surprised if other factions in the future won't even get a single new plastic kit for their launch.

I also wouldn't be surprised if we get something tomorrow as its a (new model) monday at the 1st of the year

While a 7:3 split for AoS is about the same as the last few years, not having a single AoS mini in the top 3 is pretty sad. the last time that happened was 2020.

Interestingly there still is a pivate video in the TOW playlist even after the TK trailer so we might actually get a 2024 video for them? Other than that one there is only the second AoS video left

Thats something that happened when they released the Vanguard sets. At least I already saw and posted about some of them back then. Might have happened to even more since then. I understand if they don't want both the models themselves and the Vanguard boxes in store to save space but why they also removed them as online only products I don't understand. And I really don't like it.

The remaining TOW video will likely be the TK equivalent to the Bretonnia video from yesterday. So just a faction trailer not a 2024 video.

Looking through all the unsolved rumour engines I don't see any that fit here except the obvious horse legs

I'm pretty sure we are getting something AoS today, but whether its the 2024 video or the second video is the other questions

If you mean just seeing that a video is coming, you can go to their playlists and look if any of them have private videos as they upload them on private a few days before actually unlocking them. So you go to their channels playlists switch to "sort by last video added" and then you should see some playlists with a "last updated x days ago. When you click on one of those you can choose show unavailable videos on the three dot menu which then shows you the privated videos (but without name or thumbnail so you only know that something is uploaded not what) If you mean at what time that was just a guess based on the time yesterdays video was uploaded
