    That's not my intent, my primary initial goal is to work out what kind of expected damage outcome you get from each unit, since it can be pretty important for battle tactics, you don't want to accidentally kill the unit you are trying to suppress to score that battle tactic. 

    Neil Arthur Hotep calculated the expected damage numbers for the other shooting options and applied all relevant buffs to them (including a spell for the lumineth, other buffing characters for other units). I can't think of any that he missed, and he was very open about all the buffs used. I've not directly checked them, but given his fusilier numbers are exactly the same as mine I figure he is right. 

    If you want to have the unbuffed Fusilier numbers you are more than welcome, I think I might have included them in a previous post but not sure, I'll do a post with it when I'm at my desk. Tried to set up a pretty one from Google sheets from my phone and that was not happening.

    What kind of "Unmassaged" numbers are you looking for? Sounds like you want Idoneth Reavers added. I don't know deepkin very well, other than AoA what would buffed up Reavers include? I think blissbarbs were just getting the homunculus and all out attack buff, but would gladly include whatever you want.

    I don't know if you intended to, but your message feels quite aggressive, I think this has mostly been a pretty chill conversation about a faction it sounds like a lot of us are excited to try out. I know I'm looking forward to trying out some Dark Elves I always thought were neat and am trying to work out how to do my colour scheme to tie things in. 

    I'm thinking of a White, Black and Burgundy scheme, maybe changing the primary colour depending on the subfaction. My first attempt at cities (Which was 75% high and wood elves, D'oh) had some issues where I was keeping too close to one scheme, and I ended up with some very dull looking dwarves. If I'm painting some lumineth allies as well I want it to match (considering Sererith for some shooting, mortal wounds and potential objective grabbing).

    also dont take in count the cost, see a table of 390 points of fussilers vs 320 of blisbarb is wrong since the start because arent same points.

    i could post the real data with same points of fussilers vs same points of blisbarbs and blisbarbs full buffed wit +1 rend and the data would show how blisbarbs are better and dont need a spell that is isnt relyable neither spend one cp neither one warlord trait.

    in fact blisbarbs need a increase of 20/30 points to be balanced while fusilers need a reduction of 20 points.

     

    but even if fussilers are overcosted for their damage,they are one key unit of our book,supresive fire make playable units as hammerers,also the counter fire with a good brain open many plays.

    The whole second part is not about the data. For someone using a degree as credentials, you should be able to distinguish between opinions (tier lists, something being broken) and the statement "the data is made up".

    even rigth now i could  create a random name for a tabletop simulator tournament,fill the data and get random names of people and random lists,then i make the results as i want(as winner to fyreslayers 5/0 if i want get more win rate for fyreslayers and some 0/5 for stormcast if i want get his winnrate lower) and upload this tournament to best coast pairings,then others people gonna get the data of this web and upload it to tsn.

    i am not saying that is tsn fault because this can be done to every other data tournament web,but for sure i can tell you that many of those tournaments in the tsn data are fakes(but i am not saying that they make up those tournaments)

    oh also create a tierlist without read even the scrolls isnt make up data?

    ok i can be more especific.

    the tsn tables are fine(i dont like because they use tournaments of even only 8 players when for me a tournament must have 20+ players to be big enougth to matter in data and also the data is fake in some situations,i know some friends that only for fun makeup a tabletop simulator tournament and create fake names and results and upload it to their web only to get higher or low the win rate of armys that he want)

    the problem and who make up the data is their youtuve chanel and rob, want examples? 

    -last city of sigmar tierlist,this dude rob who did the tierlist didnt read even the warscrolls of elfs(is a fact that he even said in the video) or put some unit as good as the elf chariot of shooting because  the ark fleetmaster gives them +1 shooting,when the reality is that the fleetmaster give +1 to melle atacks of corsairs and not shooting of charriots. so this dude make up the tier list without even read the full book and only doing random guess of where is each model.

    -video about how broken are the dragons,or sharks,or imput random bad unit here,then the facts are that ONE dude have done a 3/2 or 4/1 in one lesser tournament with these units.

    -i could write many more examples of how almost every one of their youtuve videos are make up and false only to get views.

    double turn is a universal and maths facts that is luck,you cant do nothing to change who get double turn, and who get double turn get a advantage,is a fact also,this advantage is lesser for competitive players but is a advantage

    yep is as you said.

    the problem is that we dont have world championships as sports.

    so yes maybe in one region we have players with 90% win rate or even 100% but that is because they are more skilled than rivals so the double turn dont matter because he is so much better than the rival.

    if we could do tournaments with only the best players around the world then for sure the win rates would be around 50% and only the luck of double turn decide who wins.

    double turn is a problem for competitive players that we spend many hours thinking lists,combos,mathammer etc and we have a huge knowledge about every army to maximice our chance of win games,and inside of this equation we only dont can do nothing with double turn and is a huge factor to decide victor and is 100% only luck

    casual players usually dont mind double turn,they dont care win or losse and so dont care the double turn for a competitive aspect,but even these players hate it due to must see two turns of rival while they only wait and dont play

    yes you see same people at the top of the same region,because that player is more skilled so they win more even with the luck of double turn.

    but if we join the top players of each region that have same skill level then the games gonna be games by the luck of double turn only.

    in short: if a player is more skilled than others with double turn have 70/80 % win rate,but if we remove the luck of double turn he would have 95/100 win rate

    that is the experience of everyone,i have friends running gw store or non ofitial stores and they told the that this double turn is the main factor that every new player use as reason to not play to aos.

    in competitive is the same,everyone hate it,competitive players love win games for skill and can claim that you won a tournament because you were the skillest player and not the luckiest. is true that you can reduce the effect but never negate it,and even if you play around reduce the effect then you are doing you list and play less good in normal situations because you must play very defensive around of minimice looses with double turn.

    is a bad mechanic that 90% players hate,and gw know it,they have done many nerfs to double turn because they know it.

    the problem is that they dont want delete it only to keep it aos diferent to 40k,but this is being detrimental for aos loosing many players and potentials new players

    is obvious that you can reduce the effect of double turn if you know play,but even then its only reduce the effect and continue being a handicap of only luck.

    was a bad idea at the launch as many others stupids ideas or aos 0,0 as no points etc

    but gw cant  or dont want delete it even if it is hated by almost every player and for every non player(its the main reason that many 40k players dont jump to aos) only because they want have one huge mechanic that makes aos and 40k diferent

  11. stormcast are the posterboys and gonna stay as one of the two armys in every new edition boxe as happens with marines in 40k.

    this wont change,is the market style of gw,they had one diferent in fantasy and then created this idea of posterboys getting 90% of the attention and new products for 40k with marines and seems have been a good idea for them,because they copyed this style to aos with stormcast.

    so if they dont have change the marines of being posterboys and even they added this style to aos is imposible or veryyyyyy rare that they gonna change sc as posterboys.

     

    also all the hype around of city of sigmar miniatures dont means nothing if at the end of the day nobody buy them.

    per example in the media we have many influencers doing hype with new miniatures but when they are asked if they gonna do a city army then they all answer that no,they love the new style etc etc but wont buy them.

    then in my personal experience is the same,every player in my club think that the minis are great etc etc buy nobody gonna buy them or start a city army(only myself and because i had 4k of citys allready,but i dont like the style of new humans and i only getting them because this boxe is cheap)

    time gonna tell if city is popular or not,but we can say for sure that they wont replace sc as starter army

But when my opponents for example shoots a unit with a hidden order I am not sure if I should remind them that it could be return fire or not. On one hand gottchas suck on the other that seems to be a big part of the orders system in a way ( It’s a mind game: I might remind them either way if I don’t want them to shoot the unit for example or to make their decisions harder)

    if it is a tournament i wont say anything,if it isnt a tournament i gonna advise the first game or two or if i know the enemy and he is a 0 thinking dude  that only want have fun then i gonna advice him(some many friends that dont want think while playing,and only want go to melle and throw dices)

    The old ardboys just didn't fit in at all and even in a lore sense they were basically hangers on, not true blooded IJz. Its like hobgrots in kruleboyz and snarlfangs in gloomspite. They don't really fit the overall theme and aesthetic of their parent army. 

    there are many options,diferent armor than brutes,less muscles,diferent weapons etc.

    but this is 100% the same brute model with same armor,only diferent shoulder and mask and thats it is.

    dont get me wrong,the model is great(as brutes are great also) but from a non ironjawz player i only see other brute that is the same that the non fyreslayers players think about our army.

     

    i really wish that when fyreslayes get new models dont be as this new ironjaws release and we get more naked dwarfs but diferent helmet lol

  14. this new models of ironjaws are pretty sad,they are almost the same brutes but only with minor changes.

    it fells the same than fyreslayers where all are naked dwarfs and now ironjawz is the same all are the same big orc and only ironjaw player can diferentiate the units

    Opened the first of my many Dark Elves boxes....gonna make 20 Executioners to start, and then later do 20 Black Guard assuming the heads and arms fit nicely onto the Dreadspear bodies at the POBox (10 of those are for spell sacrificing).  Should I do a unit of 20 Executioners or make 2 chamipions for 2 units of 10?  

    i allways build one comand group each msu unit,if i play with one unit of 20 or 30 i only tell to the enemy that the real comand group is in the front and the others in the back are the fakes.

    i even did many leaders in the same group,as my ironbreakers i used double pistoll with the leader and used the shield and axe of the other option of leader with a regular ironbreaker because are more cool

    my club dont mind the weapon setup,so even if i gonna play him with ranged weapons allways i wont build him with pistols.

     

    but betwen helm or not helm,shield or not shield etc i dont know,i like every option visual and seems is imposible to magnetice because the cape must be glued above the arms bits

    at this points everyone agree.

    now the problem is the faq that says that negated wounds cant be saved by nothing even wards and these negated wounds done to bodyguards also cant be saved.

    i explained that the retinue rule says that the wound is RELOCATED and not NEGATED but they tell me that is only semantic and the fact is that the wound is negated by the ruefather and so hgb cant use ward.

    any advise in how try explain them this better?we arent very competitive in my club  and we do only 1 or 2 tournaments each year of only 12 players,so i preffer dont get angry about this rule and let them think they are rigth if they refuse this point

  19. i get your point,but im not a international player,and my club continue saying that this faq cancel our ward even after show the rule 1,6

    i can try the point in the rules post, stating that the faq is only for wounds negated and our retinue are wounds relocated, but is semantic and i dont think they gonna change their opinion.

    its not a big problem because my fyresalyers are getting dust untill next book,and i guess next book gonna clarify this better(in this generals handbook isnt fun fyreslayers and i preffer play my vampires or new citys)

  20. as tittle says,hearthguard berzerkers can get a wound of a runefather/son that have in their retinue,so they are bodyguards. 

    at this point we are ok.

    but now the problem,we have a faq that says that nobody can use ward save against wounds done by the bodyguard rule to the bodyguard, but hearthguard berzerkers have in his scroll a rule that let them use ward save against bodyguarded wounds.

    so hearthguard can use ward saves or not?

    i asked to many persons and everyone says that no,because the faq is more recent than the hearthguard scroll and state that isnt posible,but some person in the fyreslayer group think that is posible and so i would like know if it is posible or not.

    myself being fyreslayer player dont use the ward,so if it is posible i would like to know  it and why it is posible to show it to my club
