In terms of loadout it’s all one or the other. Generally speaking iron fists in smaller units and double weapons in larger units. That said you don’t end up building many of either in certain blocks. In a 12 man unit you can run 4 standard bears, 2 musicians and a leader. So there’s only 5 of the 12 man unit with the weapon load out

now I will have to read the manual to understand the rules and how to equip the leader, if you have any advice they are welcome on a 750 pt starting list to be expanded to a 1k points
edit : how do i dress my gluttons?
all with double weapon or ironfist?
can i play a mixed unit to have a couple of ironfists and the rest double weapon?i was thinking of converting 4 glutton to ironguts, buying a body on ebay.

but the gutbusters are more expensive than the beastclaw. But if they are more fun go for it.
small tip though. Ogor gluttons will increase in price in June. So you might want to order some this weekend. I personally ordered some stuff from element games. Great service and a small discount on everything.more expensive in terms of money or scores for what they do on the field?

thanks for the advice, currently i don't have the manual at hand and i don't know anything about ogor, i'm undecided between 1000 flesh eaters points and 1000 ogre points.
about the ogres I would like to play with magicians heroes who support my melee units (both troops and cavalry), I don't particularly like the hordes (no gnoobars) I prefer to play elite armies

hi, i'm new to aos,I'm undecided whether to start a FEC or Ogor Maw tribes army, I love elite lists with few models.

3 x Aetherwings (50)the idea would be to keep raptors, leaders and aetherwings in reserve and deploy them with the ability of stormcasts on an object and in enemy ranges. make heavy fire phases and defend longstrike with aterwings, load and move with hunters and palladors.
however, I am doubtful against the hordes.
I can replace the 6 longstrike and aetherwings with 9 hurricane raptors, similar tactic but I would use on an object and I would thin out the ranksor better to deploy the hunters and try to position themselves very well with the longstrikes?

1000 point ogor mawtribes

hi, I have created 2 lists of 1000 points, I don't know which one to choose between the two, I would be looking for something competitive that can therefore play against many armies without being an autolose.

this first list focuses on having 2 big wizards that support my big unit with big magic to make the big unit even bigger, the kittens act as screens / take objects and the ironguts as an elite unit to deal even more big damage, l I like endless spell because I have so many spell slots, to cover against shooting and does damage, and it's a further nuisance for the opponent

the second list expands the number of kittens, loses a wizard to add a hunter.
with the magician you always go to thicken the thick ogor so that they often do thick damage, the ironguts are always units of elite dispenser of thick damage, but this time the cats + hunter compartment start lurking to attack unexpectedly specific targets or take particular objectives.
