  1. Looks like new Cities miniature shown on Monday and Dawnbringers fiction on Friday? “And that’s not to forget Warhammer Age of Sigmar. We’re previewing a fantastic new miniature for the Cities of Sigmar, and there’s more fiction from the Dawnbringer Chronicles, alongside loads of other articles to get you excited about all things Warhammer.”
  2. 2 years, 7 days and counting… If anyone was wondering how the incredibly slow release of the new cities of Sigmar and the Dawnbringers event has been going since the start of the ‘Era of the Beast’. 3. Just the lore I’m afraid. The models are the images in the bottom left or right of the cover. That issue is half of the Marshcrawla
  4. Looks like the Stormbringer leaks were accurate. I got these from Forbidden Plant’s website.
  5. It came out on Friday last week so I’d assume it will be the same this week. However, it just said “Check back next week for the latest edition of the Dawnbringer Chronicles…” at the end of the article.
  6. We’re at the very least getting another Dawnbringers short story this week
  7. Yndrasta: The Celestial Spear is smaller than normal modern AoS novels, however it is the same size as the 40K character series of books. I’m very much hoping this the start of a series of one off AoS character books
  8. The last Broken Realms short story was ‘The Scales of Victory’ released on July 12th, 2021 introducing the Draconith after the release of Dominion earlier that month (July 3rd). We had to wait just under two years through a quagmire of slow releases for another short fiction to be published on the community website, but now we’re here… and it feels good
  9. The Yndrasta book sold out in the first ten minutes on the UK website. You’ll want to be vigilant when it goes live if you want it and you’re further west.
  10. Azyr coins are turning up on eBay. Maybe connected to CoS or maybe they’re just going to slowly put out coins of all the realms. Either way looks a little like a map
  11. Season of War: Thondia was also predominantly about her
  12. One day they shall build a mohawk so powerful it shall destroy us all
  13. Did anyone else mention this yet? It’s in the back of the Drekki Flynt novel. I assume it’s related to David Guymer’s short stories that were published in White Dwarf.
  14. Just watched it, amazing. The animation has improve massively. And I feel like it’s a good sign that the two AoS episodes have been among the best
  15. I’ve actually already managed to update my existing cards through a highly complex process that I couldn’t possibly explain in layman’s terms
  16. If you’re looking for a good BL novel that came out recently Prince Maesa is amazing. I bought it as an audio book on Audible just because I had an extra credit. But upon listening to it I was enraptured and it held my attention far more than other AoS offerings I’d read or listened to. I personally think Prince Maesa is the best AoS novel I’ve experienced so far. It has great characters excellent character progression and meaningful interaction. It focuses on Wanderers and Sylvaneth but touches on Kharadron, Dispossessed, Lumineth/Setterler’s gain, a tiny bit of Idoneth and a smidge of Alarielle and Nagash. I kept thinking it wasn’t going to stick the landing at the end, but then it did. I’ve ordered the physical hardback just because I enjoyed it so much I want to read it. I’d love a sequel, but I almost think it should remain a one off.
  17. Speaking as someone who’s already bought two Lumineth collector’s edition battle tomes, Broken Realms: Teclis and is planning on buying the new collector’s edition tome I am actually having a pretty great experience 😅. (Although technically the first collector’s tome just came with the release box set and isn’t a real collector’s edition). Plus ‘negative play experience’ is a very subjective concept. If you learn how your army works, are considerate to your opponent and don’t spam sentinels you can have a fun game for yourself and your opponent. Conversely you can create a negative play experience for anyone and yourself with any army if you’re committed to it. Either way, I think the Lumineth are awesome and will likely continue to play them even if they became bottom tier
  18. Not yet, but I’d imagine they’ll be released along side the books that haven’t shown up on Black Library’s Coming Soon page yet. Although it looks like that’s due for an update. So they could be coming soon https://www.warhammer-community.com/blacklibrarycomingsoon/
  19. Is there anything else, aside from WarCry, that was shown at Warhammer fest that hasn’t been released yet? (Excluding the Ogroids that I assume are coming out with the tome in November)
  20. There’s a week of aelf fiction on black library this week. Including a Kurnothi short story
  21. As someone who bought the Lumineth battle tome and Broken Realms: Teclis, I’ve got to say I’m not mad about Lumineth getting a Third Edition battle tome at all. I’d rather they got it at the middle of the edition rather than right at the end like last time. However saying that, this is the second battle tome. Other than the new warscrolls Broken Realms: Teclis was a supplement that added two allegiances and the wind temple magic lore. What people are calling their second tome was a reprint of the first battle tome with the Lumineth’s rule pages from Broken Realms: Teclis, the rules had not changed from the first tome and they were still valid. You can still use the original tome from the initial release to play a game today and it would include all the rules you would need for the models in the original release (excluding the errata). Nevertheless, Khorn really needed this slot in the release more than the Lumineth… And I’d have preferred new cover art.
  22. You’re point on symmetry is a good one. But although Teclis was the one who set up the temples but Tyrion was the first to commune with a realm sprit (if that’s what it was), so I don’t think he’s less involved with them than Teclis. And sorry to burst your bubble but has Tyrion appears very briefly in AoS he’s given he/him pronouns 😅. For example in the conversation with Grungni at the Dawn of the Age of Chaos in a short story in White Dwarf 465. ”The aelf looked over the crowds, his vantage taking in the entire sea of heads and the jagged peaks of the mountainous vista beyond the precipice. His helm swayed lightly, side to side, like a blind man trying to fix something in his mind. ” Edit: Oh, plus Nagash and Teclis both refer to him as Teclis’ brother in Broken realms: Teclis.
  23. You could well be right. Although, I doubt GW are concerned about too many elf factions getting updates too close to one another. And a temple’s three kits (a single hero, a unit and mid sized character) would only be as much as Nighthuant got just recently, hardly a large wave.
