There are fomo boxes, and then there are fml boxes. I already have issues with boxes which have characters in what essentially is a miniature paywall. I’ve been pretty good to just wait the year out for any release where I didn’t want the infantry. But if that Dragon is tied down to those silly old Skeletons I think I might checkout from Old World. How could we lose the Vampire counts kit but get these silly skellies back.

I missed the preview but have caught up on warcom, am I missing something or did they not say there would be something for “The World of Legend” - is that not Old World? calender - My Heart says something like a magically enhanced Grail Knight, but that would be cool and in line with what I want, so It’s probably something for 40 K.

Its so peculiar, I just love the model. I follow the sculptor on Instagram that created the Howdah for the kit, he explains thats he created the Howdah when he was just a Trainee in the design team! He expresses in his insta post how he found the project difficult because he did not agree with miniature as a concept for Tomb Kings. Regardless he did a knock out job in my humblest opinion. But that opens up the age old discussion of art, its value, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. The way I perceive Warhammer is different to how others perceive Warhammer not least because I have digested and been influenced by different things throughout my life. So the Way you see a Bretonnian model is entirely different because I’m attaching different experiences and emotions to it. And that Just makes this Hobby all the more fascinating. I wont comment on your love for the Blue Man group though…

Horses for courses, but Those Horses aren’t for my courses. In all honesty it’s entirely subjective. So far the Bret reveals have just gotten an “oh cool” out of me, and even the Tomb King foot heroes too. Now, that Bone Dragon got an entire swear word out of me when I saw it, and that was even after seeing Ushoran on the same stream. I will admit though that the New Damsel on Unicorn is a Damn Fine model and would really like to see more the Magical side of Bretonnia, more unicorns, pegasus, Fey Enchantress and Green Knight Updates! Some people like Space Marines, some people like Orruk Krule boys, and I even hear some people like Tau.

Touché - But Tomb Kings already had more up to date kits by quite a few years, mind the line troops were absolute pants even before they were discontinued so I do hope those get seen to. Thr Tomb Guard though I’m a massive fan of! As for the Rumour engine. Probably some sort of Chaos Character. But who wants that - The improbable pelted cape of the Grombrindal returned.

To be absolutely fair - Bone Dragon > All the Brets Shown so far.

I only watched it yesterday and actually got me thinking - the Specialist studio could be making Titan size Plastic or even resin kits like the Thunderhawk/War Lord Titan/Manta for Age of Sigmar. Ur Hydras, Ur Bats, etc. Remember when a random cool monster would just pop up on the Forgeworld Site 😩

My Wild Card Guess is that this is the base of a Luthor Harkon remake for a new AoS Vampire Pirates led by the Mortarch of the Abyss. My logical guess is that this is for a piece of terrain wildly unrelated to anything in any system and just another red herring in the net. It could be for Warcry, but the units are Ogres and High Elves and the skeleton and fire is i consequential.

Sigmar H Ascended they actually did a calendar this year. It’s a Christmas Miracle. I’m doing nothing but Wild guesses this Year. so- Tyrions Helmet Wings.

I just realised why I like the new Varghulf so much even if its a step away from the established aesthetic. I’m a big Fan of Ed.

Anybody know who did this artwork? I really hope they do a print version, I really want one framed! This release just keeps giving. Incredibly excited for the book and full release. I also know it’s a silly question but any chances Ushoran comes with some slightly different option, like a change in the left hand or a Head with a different expression's like be’lakor or Angron. Not criticism in any way, I like the build from the shown photos. Just curious if more of these slightly convertible character kits are becoming more mainstay. Plastic Kroak, Plastic Angron, Monstrous Plastic Ushoran, And each of the Primarchs receiving 2 Heresy Kits - We’re truly living in the Golden Era of Warhammer. I’m surprised this wasn’t reinforced more during the Warhammer celebration a couple months back. GW has really met some milestones which deserve to be gloated and celebrated. I think they undersell themselves sometimes especially when it comes to establishing Scifi fantasy lore and then bringing those Characters to miniature form. My nerves and my wallet tingle in anticipation at what they do with Morghur, Malerion and the Chaos Dwarfs. But this Ghoulish release has me distracted for quite some time . Fanboy Rant #2 Over.

Well it was wierd seeing that I posted my Ushoran nearly exactly a Year to when the new one was shown! Either way, new Vampires brings new enthusiasm, I’ve done some rework with this and I’ve chabged the Dragon a fair amount, was unhappy with the static posture and proportions. A couple of pieces harvested for other projects and vice versa.
