I really really really hope this is the case. Because honestly the BL day was one I was really looking forward to and I am shocked that there was absolutely nothing for AOS. So hopefully that means Saturday we will have a bunch of AOS novels and 3.0 announced!!

I'm holding out for an AOS Maggotkin novel where the protagonists are Rotbringers. Gimme some jolly boys to kitbash more Blightkings off of

Ooooooooooo I'm hyped. I'm excited to see what new rules Nurgle gets. I love the idea of running a list with the heralds, but they're sadly lackluster.

  3. Looks like that Christmas engine was solved. Not sure if it's the kind of leak I shouldn't be posting here, but you can find the solved sprue on Warboss Kurgan's blog, and I have a picture of the boxart saved. It was 40k after all.

    (This Christmas rumour)

Counting the models, and the box cover, the Gitz has to be a printing error. There are 7 trolls, out of 22 models, including the loon boss means it actually says you will get 14 squigs???

Looks confirmed to be an error, found this on Facebook.

  5. I do! It's actually one of my go-to primers. I feel like it's about as easy to work with as Death Guard Green primer and Mechanicus Grey primer. Can't say I do anything fancy with it, but it works great for me.

If I do feel like doing something fancy with my primers to ensure smooth priming, I like to put the can in a bowl of lukewarm water for about 10 minutes before I start shaking.

Back on the AoS Video Game topic for a bit:

I was recently thinking what kind of game would be good for AoS. And then I realised - Stormcasts can die many times and they are always (not really) back but with lost memories and more reforging flaws. Fighting against various enemies, from lowly skeletons to beasts like Bloodthirsters, in fantastical landscapes, while knowing that your efforts can be ultimately futile because gods made too many mistakes... Sounds familiar?

    AoS: Dark (Tempest?) Souls anyone?

An AoS action rpg would be wonderful!

  7. I don't think they'd ever throw a Gargant in as anything other than a neutral monster of sorts (though it'd be great to smash a warband with one).

For warbands I'm thinking Deepkin, Vampires, Seraphon, OBR, and beyond that I have no clue. I'd love a Nurgle Daemon one.

So until we get  the Ghyran Freeguild knight orders with nature knights in magic wooden armor riding demigryphs and ghyrlions (plant creature lions which one Order is built around) who worship Alarielle this is the closest we'll get.

Was that the Order of the Furrow? I remember seeing a bit of them in a short story, seemed like a cool place for a spiritual successor for the Brets.
