Tbh I think the price reduction might be to get some of the sales instead of third party eBay sellers who are splitting the starter set.
Like in Australia it's 20-30 dollars off eBay for 5 libs from the starter set. Or 80-90 for five from a GW box. Even with the fact you are not getting the great weapons, it's hard to justify that.
I could be wrong, but I think it seems less likely for other factions (except maybe khorne BB). I hope I'm wrong.

Someone told me on AOS reddit we are going to see a plastic guo release. Possibly one of you guys. I know we had a guy a few pages back saying nurgle was going to get a release of some sort.
The current non fw model is so bad, makes sense.

Hey guys,
Getting off the Warhammer quest bandwagon hypetrain express, multiple sources on the aos Reddit are saying there will be a tzeentch demons start collecting box up for pre order very soon with 10 pink horrors, 3 flamers and the chariot mult-kit.

Totally cannot countenance the possibility GW is doing well.
Although he did have a new one on me - AoS isn't outselling 40k because it's doing well, 40k is selling poorly because people are worried it'll get AoS'd. ?

As someone who is new to warhammer and aos. I would like a 40k army too, but it seems too confusing with too many rules and things which is what is putting me off.

I think some form of the ironfist battalion should just be worked into ironjawz baseline.
Maybe cheaper pigs too.
