I think it's just a Boneshaper with the back-spikes exaggerated for artistic flair, otherwise it looks very, very close to the existing model. Good spot of the new art though.

This one is a new model

    >Core rules are streamlined (I hope so, less layers of rules and more polished gameplay)

    >Toughness is now only on datasheets with a [Heavy Armour] keyword ability. E.g Terminators, Rhinos, Dreadnoughts etc. Generic troops now only roll to hit when attacking and save when defending. (big change, maybe we could see something like that to make non-500p monsters more durable or even elite units).

Okay so looks like no Saurus Guard redos and no Skinks...

    So lets go with

    1. Astrolith Bearer
    2. Kroxigors
    3. Salamander/Razordons
    4. Big New monster
    5. Saurus Cavalry

Would be impressive if we got all of this

Now choose 4 out of 5

Orruks just got Kruleboyz which does nothing for Ironjawz or Bonesplitterz only players. They just have to share their tome with yet another faction now, so less lore and fluff and more need for balance around the Orruk soup rather than the individual armies.

    well, wait until you see....

Kroxigors were thr first model I saw and I immediately went wow. My cousin was collecting lizardmen and had a white dwarf (or something) and I was looking at the model and the price was listed in the back I think. Asked immediately to start collecting (didn't happen for another 3-4 years lol)

Bout time they had a new model! Although I would like them to keep the oversized saurus upright build and not the bloodbowl build! Great model but just a personal preference

Yeah I'd say they will be very different from any modern iteration of the creature concept we have seen in recent years

    Snarlfang Riders

New "big dino" with magic structure on top
    Kroxigors
Razordon/Salamander Pack dual kit (2 bigger lizards)
    Saurus Guard with leader options
More Azyr looking Saurus Sunblood/Eternity Warden?

    April
Blades of Khorne vs Hedonites box (again)
    New single Hedonite foot hero
New single Khorne foot hero (named?)

    May
    Flesh-eater Courts:
    "Court wizard" shaman
    New "mid-size" ghouls (Melee/Ranged)

    Ossiarch Bonereapers:
    New Mortisan (manipulates enemy units)

    June
Cities of Sigmar (before 40k 10th edition):
"Azyrite" = new units, not subfaction (calling them this for simplicity/lack of details)

Azyrite Guard (Halberd/Small weapon (mace, sword, axe) options)
Azyrite Gunners ("Musketeers", special option for hand cannon with shield (bigger base like Skitarii))
Azyrite Knights (Regular Knight/Outrider dual kit)
Azyrite Elite (think new Greatswords/Mace, Sword, Hammer options, big armour)
Azyrite Ogors (Chunky armour, big halberd + option for pistol for leader)
Azyrite General (Sculpted base, mix of Elite, Gunner and Guard aesthetics but fancier)
Azyrite Mage (One mini, many options)
Azyrite Priest (Big Fantasy Warrior Priest aesthetic, think that big Dawnbringer picture from core book)
Flagellants (More grimdark, less flamehead/not-carried chains)
Azyrite Artillery (New spin on Helblaster/Helstorm + regular cannon. One duardin crew member)
Azyrite Walker (Vaguely similar to Steam Tank/Gyrocopter. Think 40k Sentinel but more Steampunk + AoS)
Azyrite General on big beast (Centerpiece, option for named hero)

All current human kits cut except for Steam Tank
    All Wanderers cut
    Duardin/non-human Ironweld fine
Darkling Covens cut back (no basic infantry) + combined with Shadowblades (Shadow Warriors cut)
Privateers/Order Serpentis combined and slightly trimmed (no chariot)

Big Dawnbringer Crusade Path to Glory section in BT

    August
    Kharadron Overlords:
New foot hero (record keeper/accountant looking)

    September
    Soulblight Gravelords:
    New Necromancer
New Grave Guard/Skeleton crossbows dual kit

    well educated guess

A guy is posting a bunch of info in AoS Coach Discord:

    1. GHB rumors about small heroes are true.
    2. Dawnbringer crusade is the spring Order release.
    3. Seraphon in summer.
    4. Freeguild is being replaced by all new sigmarite mortals. Phoenix Temple, old Dark Elves and Dispossesed stay. Everyting else is gone.
    5. New Khorne rules are playtesting way too strong.

Disclamer: I'm not in Coach's Discord, I got these from another Discord. If someone could give us a better view, I'd appreciate it.

I don’t think this is 100% per accurate but...

The CoS weapons are very cool. I do find it a bit funny how in their stream when they first mentioned them that they would be ‘very different to the Empire’ and everything we’ve seen so far would fit into the Empire range with no issues at all.

Maybe they are not that different after all

  9. the lore writers deliberately leave  this part of background vague for further development potential, so far the only explanation is some elves of the old world survived the ET by some methods, the heaven of lileath included. But their number is so small,  aelven gods tried to bring more of their races back by trapping slaanesh

In Warhammer Fantasy, having the Empire troops be lightly armoured was always a bit of an anachronism, since that was really a response to the widespread use of gunpowder weapons. I think in AoS, where there are a lot of threats around against which armour would definitely be a really effective defense, it would be nice to see this reflected in the troops that Cities gets access to. Plus, without Bretonnians around, there is actually not really a medieval faction in the game.

    Yes, I totally agree

In the lead up to 3rd edition I was really convinced we would see new dwarves fairly early and get the Cities factions partitioned into other armies (dwarves spun off/souped, wanderers reintegrated to Sylvaneth, dark elves going to Malerion or DoK...). Since none of that has happened my current belief is that Cities will more or less stay as it is and its subfactions will get updates in waves, starting with Freeguild and Ironweld.

In your predictions I think there are indeed some fair points, just keeping believe in yourself!

In the reveal when they were first announced (Warhammer Fest?) I thought they said explicitly that it would be human-centric.  I don't think that means human exclusive, but my guess is that the new sculpts will be all or nearly all human models.  Maybe you'll still be able to bring in dispossessed and aelfs.

If it's more pan-Order, that would be cool, too.

The reveal talked about cities of sigmar project, not dawnbringer crusade.

dbc is a pan-order lore event joint by multiple order factions.
