Based on the regiments system i think its plausible that we could be getting them back some day as regiments instead of a subfaction. Bonesplitterz could get a hero + 2 or 3 units that can be slotted into either Ironjawz or Kruleboyz. The same could be said for Beasts and can be slotted into any Chaos army. It think it actually fits their lore too.
This way GW can still do the micro armies they always wanted without having to commit to a whole army + tome system and years of support that helps with limited warehouse space.
I think we'll see more kruleboyz like the monster killers in Warcry which will fill the slot of bonesplitters.
Bonesplitters are monster hunters who wear very little and use bone as decoration, the Warcry monster killers tick all those boxes.
I can see them as a bridge between Ironjawz and kruleboyz.
Beasts I can see getting the AoS treatment, I'll love to see what GW do with modern tech and sculpting, giving us some truly terrifying nightmare creatures.

Take pictures before if you do strip them so you can compare your new paint job.
I've been painting for 30 odd years now and really wish I had some of my first painted models but alas they are lost to time.
I'm been thinking about doing a small dwarf force as well, it's one of the armies I never collected first time round.

Interesting that the beasts go to legends in summer 2025.
Why not at the end of 4th edition?
My guess is that's when the replacement faction will be released.

Reminds me of the old 5th edition chaos army book where every hero had to take retinue of equal or greater points to themselves.
Going to be some fun lists in the future.

After looking for movement trays and seeing the high prices people are charging, decided it would be cheaper and easier to make my own using plasticard and plasticard rods.
Super simple to do and just need a lick of paint.

Can there be a separate thread for if beast are getting squatted or not as it's just become a circular argument with the same stuff said over and over and over.

The updates to every faction will be available as downloads on release day, they won't be actual indexes/books.
Yes, we saw some pages of either the big rulebook or promotional booklets but I can't see how he would have access to what is or isn't getting a faction pack on release day.

The indexes aren't physical books so 8 don't see how he couldn't have seen them. My guess is his sad react is that he doesn't know.

I had that pump wagon, it just screams orcness!
The bloodbowl pump wagons in the snotling team are based on this design, plus you get 2 wagons and a load of snotlings for a bit more money than the re-release pump wagon.

I don't think any units will be dropped in the indexes but in the new battletomes.
It allows any unit that is being dropped to have rules for this edition until they are moved to legends when the new battletome hits.

I don't know if he's alive during that time period but maybe we'll see Gotrek before he becomes a slayer, when he was a engineer.
