Likewise we don't necessarily need female orks or skaven, given their background.
Orks are literal fungus that grow from the ground. No need for females they have no gender.

Death...everyone is just a skeleton at the end...
But most skeletons are wearing male armor which would indicate they were male when alive

This is why you play Grots and Orruks truly gender neutral

Well, nothing has been confirmed yet. Except for something something Old World.
I mean god beasts and the age of myth are in AoS not the Old World
-
Im dissapointed. I dont see any reason to go back to the old world. I was hoping for Forgeworld Godbeasts to be played in the age of myth and more stories about the early stages of the realms.

I didn't catch this from the ME rules, thanks! That is a tiny deployment zone, I'll have to look into that at home, because every list I've made wouldn't fit this rule.
Definitely suprised me when I tried to play 40 grots
-
Just a pointer you can only fit 36 25mm bases in the 12" by 3" deployment zone so 2x20 dudes in the mainbody is a bad time
-
I use the app for warscrolls but always have a physical book for other rules

Wonder how many of the big Khorne Dragon they've sold. Would love a whole range of Titan-Class AoS models, but AoS in general seems to have barely any Forge World stuff in games compared to 40k. Suppose the fact 30k stuff can mostly be played in 40k helps a lot too. Would also be good to get better rules for chaos dwarves - there's a few of them in tournaments right now but a few new models and high power level rules would be great.
I am tempted to get the dragon just a bit too tight on money to make the purchase right now. It would be lovely to have a range of massive beasts

In my local area a lot of people seem to feel its "ok" to get forgeworld stuff recasted from china due to the pricing. I think a lot of their releases and sales suffer from this mentality.
Having so many clean up issues with FW stuff doesnt help though. Regardless I wish people would stop supporting recasters.
I have honestly had very little issues with forgeworld models but I do realise its a bit of extra work compared to regular plastics

Just remember if you always talk about buying FW but never buy it then - in all honestly - you're part of the problem in the system. Whilst GW could certainly do more to advertise FW and also adjust some of the rules to make them a bit more attractive (and darn it why are things like the myrwurm not in Idoneth etc...); its also on us.
I am allowed to cry owning some fimir and the entire gloomspite range

Now I'm a big forgeworld fan but the recent news of Fimir being discontinued makes me sad. I own a noble and 3 warriors they werent good but damn were they some pretty models. It's no wonder they are being removed from sale GW clearly gives no mind to Forgeworlds AoS models slowly removing them from sale. Fimir and the Monsters of Destruction cant be played in any allegiance or allied in to anything but GA destruction and their rules are mostly subpar it makes me sad as a fan of big cool monsters.

Oh that’s cool. But that’s also 1.100 pts according to my calculations. So for those point i could screen with 12 bulls, which do get destroyed by the 110 MW. But I still have 700 points left to invest in the counter charge. Or better yet. Two units of 40 gnoblars so you can also Double screen in case of a double turn.
its such a Death Star unit (with good fighting support units I grand you) that it becomes a game of positioning. Getting everything in range, screening, who gets the charge. If you do get the charge 12 bulls will decimate the unit. And subsequently be destroyed by the on death attacks but I feel the Skaven player will have lost the most.
but it’s true we don’t have a Death Star build as far as I can see. It’s all much more self contained. Don’t knwo how that’ll play out. Personally I do like that more, but I understand that might be needed for top 1 spot.
Its definitely a one trick list but thats why you have 2x40 monks to play around with and use the rest of the remaining points on screens to make sure your rats dont die fast.
But back on topic with the mawtribes it definitely seems to lack a clear combo. You have to walk a butcher with your Gluttons but then the Butcher is a super easy target with only 7 wounds and a 5+ save. Im probably going for a fluffy list with Ogors so not too stressed about that.- 1

also can you show my what you combine for that ? Because that’s insane if that’s truly the average.
40x Plague monks with Sword and Staff. Glottkin +1 attack, Plague furnace +1 attack, Charge +1 attack, Blades of Putrifaction mortals on 6+ to hit and then we finish off with full rerolls to hits with a Verminlord Corruptor. Thats 360 attacks and you just reroll all hit rolls that are not a 6. You avarage at 110 mortals according to my calculations.

my previous experience that it’s very rare to lose 12 bulls in one go
My plague monk list can deal 110 mortal wounds in a single attack on avarage. If i just can get my buffs off

Yeah I'm gonna say gloomspite gitz too. The poorly designed allegiance ability aside, everything just works in that book, the battalions, battleline options, inner balance, (almost) nothing is too broken or too weak, solid selection of artifacts etc. It's just fun to design armies with that book. Flesh eaters are also great, minus the gristlegore imbalance.
Troggherd is probably the most overcosted battallion in the game and the Troggboss is one of the worst models in the game looking at damage per points. Also the terrain gitz have pretty much force you to play regular gitz if you want to benefit well from the terrain.

Anyone else watch The Honest Wargamer review of the Ogor Mawtribes battletome?
I was a bit underwhelmed by the battletome but feel even worse about it now. Doesn't seem like there is anything in the army that is going to allow them to be competitive in the current environment.
I also read through the ossiarch Bonereapers battletome and it's mad to see the difference in rules.
Im used to this. Having a ton of Gitz and seeing the Skaven and FeC releases that came right after that book

Only really have suggestions for the armies I play but here you go
Gitz: Dankhold Troggoth. I personally love troggoths and I think it captures a different side of gitz. Its cartoony and an amazing sculpt
Nurgle: Glottkin. The model is just amazing
Skaven: A Verminlord -
I would not want Gitz to be the base line. Having like 6k Glomspite and having played it the most out of any armies the army is pretty depressing to play when you are trying to win. I love it for fluff and models but gameplay with out "lodges/clans" or what ever is sad and playing practically with out an allegiance ability as its so weak is kinda dumb. I think Mawtribes seem like the best baseline right now. Just looking at the book it seems like there are reliable but simple abilities, tribes and battallions that allow you to play multiple very varied lists.

Two years ago i was browsing youtube and saw a minipainting video. I remembered how much I enjoyed it as a child and decided to buy a model and a few paints and now Im here.

As in you use the allegiance? No one is saying that skaven is underpowered! We're saying maggotkin units are!
Hey Glottkin is a fantastic buff for monks and plague bearers a great screening unit.

Let's differentiate between maggotkin and "Nurgle", which for pestilens is really a technicality!

I find it funny when some people say women in fantasy dont have to be sexy but most males are 6'5 with 8packs and faces chiseled out of marble.
