I need some help dealing with Nighthaunt. I mostly play against one Nighthaunt opponent and I have been struggling against his list. He run 3x9 spirit host with 2 mourngul, lady Olynder and a lord executioner equipped with lens of refraction. The fact that his whole army ignores rend and dish mostly mortal wounds seems to hard counter everything I trow at him. Any tips on handling that opponent as a stormcast. Tonight I tried an big phalanx comp with teleports. It went OK at first, one brick of sequitor with empower and the vindicator CA almost wiped a whole unit of spirit host in one sweep but I eventually got overwhelmed. Sequitors are only battleline with a lord arcanum as general.

Could you share that comp and how you play it? I bought Aventis for 2k comps but it seems my local area plays mostly 1k. It sad seeing him on the shelf and I would like to play him in 1k army but he seems hard to fit.

That looks like an interesting strategy, I would have to get/paint a celestant but that should not be a problem. I do have the Dais Arcanum but was under the impression that LA cant use it. Unless there is an errata I missed? The scroll says it cant be used by units with 6 or more HP, LA has 6. I could also ditch the Pendulum and take Asteia Solbright instead of LAoF, I would not run Hammers but she still looks strong without he CA. If LA can hop on dais with staunch defender would that not make him almost invincible except for mortal wounds? Could you elaborate on what the other half of the sequitors would be doing during that battle. I'm assuming camping my base objective.

Thanks Nos, Do you think going with your suggestion and 2 ballista + Pendulum for the other 240 would be viable? I also have Lord arcanum on dracoline and some dracoline evocators, they would give me more mobility but they feel hard to fit in a 1000 point army. How about 2 brick of 20 sequitor and the lord arcanum 😀

I'm a new Warhammer player. I started playing a few months ago. I made a new Stormcast list and would like opinions on it. I'm only playing with a few friends and have not started playing anything competitive yet. The idea behind this list is to have a heavy charge of Dracoline to capture an enemy objective while sequitors guard mine. As support I have of a scion of 3 ballista with an Ordinator to delete high priority enemy hero and provide some nice range damage. I'm not 100% sure about the artifact I chose, I like the idea of a few free mortal wounds with the Luminary Rod. And if the Aetherquartz Brooch can give me 1 extra command point for one more Pack Alpha I think it would be worth it.
