After 6 years of Stormcast only we welcome anything other than Stormcast.

I we wouldn't have gotten the StD book in december, Stormcast would have gotten 3 more books, 175 new units and 45 endless spells.

And there would still be the 2nd half of december. It would be filled with a starter box Stormcast vs Stormcast.

Skaven, Khorne, Slaanesh, Warcry,  Slaves and Tzeentch in only 12 months. Order never recieved this attention in 12 months.

    WARNING

Balewind Votex has gone off sale in the USA. This isn't a "restock" warning its a full "no longer sold". Other territories might well also go off sale as well. So if you want a Vortex Endless Spell now might be a time to pick one up.

Note there's no confirmation on this info nor what it means for the future of the spell. Of course nothing stops you converting your own Vortex and it might be that GW will rework the model or simply re-release it at a future date - its impossible to say (and typically GW rarely gives out any info on what's going on with models)

This is huge... Thanks for the info.

  3. The Destruction factions are divided in Crushing factions (Orruks and Ogors) and Cunning factions (Grots).

I think the next faction need to be a Cunning factions. I hope It will be the Fimir faction, using the mist to avoid the enemy and improving ther movement.

I LOVE the Greenskinz (Orruks and Grot), but we need to expand the races.

Edit: I think that Chaos Dwarf was an error to be included in the  Chaos Pantheon, it had been better if they had evolutioned to Fire Dwarfs and they'll be included in the Destruction faction with the hobgoblins, but GW was a bit coward with them...

    Greetings.

My gaming group is competitive most of the time and play tough lists. I have on the other hand realized that I like to play fun armies but yet try my best to match the competitive side of things. And I have decided that I would like to build a Gloomspite gitz army next year. If I understand correcly a Grot heavy list with lots of endless spells are the most competitive to play right now?

It's the most competitive if your local meta is a Slaanesh meta. If It isn't I recommend a heavy grot list but you could try to improve the lista with rockgut troggoths/Dankhold, some boingrots, more fanatics and/or Skagrott. When the fanatics get the points drop, they'll be a must...

Remember, your objective is capture the objectives, you don't want to fight a lot of combats.

My issue with increasing the point costs is that Slaanesh will "just" summon 3 Keepers in the matchups where they harvest it like crazy instead of maybe 5. Against armies with pure 1 wound models they will struggle even harder with summoning in units. The depravity mechanic is flawed imo since it's really black and white. Either they gain massive amounts or they gain next to non.

And agreed this does nothing to the internal balance of wanting as many Keepers as possible or just flat out heroes. If anything it just encourages players even more to always max out on heroes and max Keepers to meet the new summoning requirements.

AoS is a game to take and maintain objectives... with the new costs I think it's a bit crazy go full-heroes... the hordes are very common in my local meta.

And of course, Slaanesh trying to win OBR is a dream now.
