Sounds like we are getting another Orktober situation 😂
-
I ve been mostly playing 1k games and PtG rather than 2k at my local club, for the same reasons mentioned in this thread.
Still, I find that 1250pts is the real sweet spot for me. You have enough points to add the unit/hero/monster/endless spell that you have been missing at 1k to make the game more interesting and balance, yet you still don't feel overwhelmed by the amount of rules and models. (unlike how a 1500/2k game can be.)

I can't wait for more 40K news 😅

Why do they keep posting articles about a 40K box which has no release date yet, instead of talking about the AoS box who is on pre order this Saturday ? What is the sale strategy there ? 😆

At the moment, every news from GW feel like "BIG THINGS ARE ON THEIR WAY FOR 40K! ... Oh... and there might also be a thing or two for you AoS guys"

Fyreslayers are short but strong, they have prominent mustaches, they are always near a big pizza oven and they are fighting Idoneth who have mean turtles.
Fyreslayers are basically a bunch of angry Marios on steroids and that's why you should play them like I do. *End of sale pitch*

My first impression, sorry if it sounds a bit negative:
- 🈂️ I feel it's definitely ticking the box on how Nurgle should be played but it lacks inspiration.
- Most lists will have the same command trait and artefacts because most of them have silly rules where planets need to be aligned to works or to be impactful.
- Lots to keep track of between the contagion points, the wheel, tokens sub faction rules and the silly artefacts / command Traits. I would not recommend this army if you start AoS.
- Sub faction are meh, I don't think they are impactful enough to encourage you to play with a variety of lists and models. Expect spam.
- It's super tanky ! Wards save on your whole army and can heal, but doesn't seem to have non hero hammer units. feel It's going to be rough for mid tier armies to deal with MoN, it might even be NPE for mele armies like BoK.
On the other hand, MoN is slow and elite, most top tiers are good at focus fire and repositioning, which is I think the perfect way to counter Nurgle.

via /TG/, i don't know if this was posted here yet. Concerning the FAQ.
Blood for the blood god!
Also if Skaven are getting the eldar treatment, it will be amazing! I ve been tempted by this army for so long, but the age of the models has always stopped me.

Space marines game > the rest 😂

I thought that the wheel was gone.

It sounds like there is going to be a lot of " Wait ! I forgot to count my disease points" every turn for an average of 2-3 MW.

Guess this is further confirmation about the production issues
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GD4n-PDexEI'm quite shocked that they have decided to carry on and sell a product that might be faulty. We are talking about sth made in the UK from high quality plastic, sold at a luxury price range (£95 RRP!).
This is not acceptable imo and GW should at least made an announcement on warco and in their stores, so people can check and change their Dragon for free, if it is faulty, before Christmas.

A bit sad that it is not Nurgle yet, that book was meant to be out in October if I recall.

Falling back to the theme of 4chan "leaks" I found one that sounded plausible.
Here is a snippet of it to focus a bit:AoS flipping to a dull battletome spam release with minimal models? Sounds likely, 40k from rumours has a big year coming.
Idoneth get no endless spells (despite DoK getting them) and just a single, crabless mini? I can see that.
Lotann still bad? Above all, this specific nugget is the most likeliest of all things that makes me want to believe it.If this turns to be true, it would be quite sad, these two armies have so much potential. GW not wanting to do more than - only two new models in a limited dual box lol - would be such a creative waste.

I heard that Blightkings might be 5 wounds each, is that a real thing ?

I've noticed that if you browse the IDK range on Alchemist Workshop, the Eidolon of Mathalan and the Isharann Soulscryer are already showing their redesigned box.

Hopefully it's a sign that the Bt is going to be on pre order soon 🤞
