  1. Going for a swamp sickly look for my Boyz. I want them to appear as if they are just emerging from a bog, emaciated and weak, sneaking up on some unsuspecting lost traveller's who were lured from the only safe path by the twinkling of the yellow eyes on the boyz shields.

  2. Some of the ads I'm seeing are not really family friendly and lead to a manga site that appears to cater to a adult audience.

I have personal ads turned off and Google says the adverts I'm getting are because of the time of day, location and the website I'm on. So unless Londoners are all looking at young Asian girls with big ****** at 7 on a Saturday night you might need to change some settings or something 🤣

Thing is, those kits are much older, from the world that was. They don’t do that anymore

Which is nuts from a business point of view, your tripling the audience for that kit by including it in all the orruk army's.

I mean no offense to anyone in that situation with this take:

While inclusion is always appreciated, and looking out for others is a laudable societal trait, it makes very little business sense to choose a path that tries to accommodate what is assuredly a miniscule segment of your potential customer base at the expense of a course that would generate what that business believes to be significant income from the vast majority of the customer base.

We see this all the time in society, both in terms of business and just regular social interaction. Even in medicine.

Not to make this too much of a downer, but my grandfather, a decorated part of the Greatest Generation, a conservation officer, business owner, and all around loving, intelligent, and kind man died from an extremely rare brain disease. There is almost no research done into combatting this disease because it is so rare and resources are limited - resources that go into curing ailments that aflict many, many more people. It tore me up that he died from this ... but the medical community was and is right to not work on the disease that killed him.

To put it in more geek-centric terms, "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one."

GW is right, and indeed has a legal responsibility to its shareholders, to focus on the majority with their plans rather than hamper those plans to accommodate just a few.

Paper books use more resources then digital ever will, it's just an excuse to limit (badly) piracy. they can do both physical and digital, the books are designed on computers 🙄

You can not view any lore or pictures from the books in the App, all you get is the rules/data sheets unlocked. If the code gave you this no one would complain (except the part about trees and the books being sent half way around the world via the most polluting transport known to man)

  5. Dark sphere London are getting stock 'in the autumn' so maybe that 300 is a cross the year.

Seems like the rest of the world is being shafted tbf bc UK stockists seem to have been given a lot of stock.

Alchemists Workshop went from being told 150 was too high and they'd recieve 60 to now having 300.

Feel sorry for global hobbyists rn. Looks like Brexit finally paid off for the random case of a board game stock allocation?

  6. There has to be a warscroll change to gluttons. Coherency changes, base size and range of 1 inch means they have to change something. Also, as someone with 12 mournfang they couldn't put them in units of 4? I thought they were changing the units to how they are sold in the boxes?

Perhaps onepagerules would fit better in your case, the amount of rules to remember is sort of spoiled by the name.

There is also no need to go to a new edition, especially if that would lock someone out of the hobby.

We use one page rules for 40k so will probley use them for AOS or just keep playing AOS 2. I might add part of the problem is games are so far apart I am having to teach him how to play every time.

  8. They have taken a relatively simple game and have made it too complicated. I play with someone who struggles to play as it is (physically and mentally) and that's with rules being bent/ignored when needed. I am struggling to see how we can even play now without it taking hours to do one round and him getting confused.

  9. I will be painting these with a weathered white armour with streaks/chipping andanimal heads, I wll be treating them as a different army to my other goldboys.

Also, if the new base sizes are the same for the old units just use the new rules on them. Most people won't care.

  10. Would be nice to have a faction leader that can be used in every army of the faction like negash or archy unlike gordrakk (and yes I'm salty my ogor conversion of him can't be used by the mawtribes) so I hope he is the new destruction leader.

Looking at Tyler Mengels posts on facebooks, skeletons/zombies on 25mm for sure and death characters on 40mm.

From box pictures, Skeleton leaderman 32mm, Vagskyryryr 50mm, Bats 25mm, rats 32mm, 3 wolfpires 32mm, heroes 32mm except the ogor at 40

Thanks, for some reason I thought skeletons were on the new 28mm.
