  1. I believe we get a mixed culture skeleton army.

Because of the story...the guy going from city to city to collect bones and make probably new soldiers out of it.. so he maybe went over different cultural lands..

asian, european..probably also african/egyptian... i also can see new chariots but not the egypt one but eastern one (like chariots from khand (lord of the rings)).

my bet is a revival of Tomb Guard, Sphinx and Snake Kit for egyptian. Chariots , Catapults more like mongolian and elite Samurai skeletons Japanese style

All this Tithe thing makes me think of only one person: Nekaph, the Tomb herald of Settra

    - he was born indeed in a similar city

    - he did fall defending it

-he wielded the Flail of Skulls (made of fallen heroes and kings defeated in Settra's name), and in this last video the guy is clearly wearing a stuff of skulls with crowns (as shown in the GW's preview)

    - he used to roam from city to city asking them to kneel and pay the tithe to Khemri and accept Settra as sole ruler

    - he was a general in life

    - he is animated by "duty"

"Nekaph rides from city to city, as he did in life, at the head of one of Settra's eternal legions. When they arrive at the enemy's gates, Nekaph halts and demands an audience with the city's rulers. When the cowering leaders come forth, the Emmissary of Settra addresses them and offers them a single chance to surrender. Though his jaw does not move, and no discernable sound ushers from his lipless mouth, Nekaph's trembling foes hear a deep voice echoing in their heads. Rulers of nations quake with fear as Nekaph demands their fealty, and they realise that their doom has arrived. Those that refuse to kneel before the might of Settra, or those that foolishly choose to attack Nekaph's assembled legion, must face the unbridled wrath of Khemri."

This is pure spculation but all this thing really smells Tomb Kingish 2.0 AoS style.

Then all this "bones" talking, makes me think of a sort of opposied to all the "soul" thing. What if Nagash found himself as not the only God of the Dead. One God for the souls (Nagash) and one God for the body... a Body of Gold!

I am totally convinced thaz this is true.

btw that guy in the video has some similarities to the nekaph art from the wiki

    Off the wall theory.

Settra is a new death god and the speaker is khatep

    I really like this theory

like Settra  raised an army and Khatep leads it..maybe his goal is to awake Settra again.. and thats why he carry this stela

Spotted this on the Death Grand Alliance Facebook page...

    Wonder what it could be?

Bottom right is probably Kemmler.. it was discussed a lot iirc

even though i am a tomb king fanboy and still play them.. new death army is probably raised by Kemmler and lead by Krell.. and my guess is that there will be chariots and stuff..so people can use their old Tomb King miniatures or buy the new "true" chariots and whatever GW releases

Hello everyone, so I've been a long-time lurker, first time poster. So, for the past half a decade (been in the hobby for 10 years), I've been collecting and cataloging rumors in my spare time for fun. Literally all rumors I come across from any source, trusted rumor-lords to even /tg/ ones just to piece things together because I like making predictions based off the data. Most of its 40K related, so not much AoS (Attached so you can see I'm not lying lol). Anyways, I come today because in the past few years I've had a friend who has been telling me things that have increasingly come to pass. Now, to be honest a lot can be considered "obvious", but a few stand-out examples was when he told me shortly after the release Legions of Nagash that Warherd and Brayherd were being combined into a battletome in a similar format, and 2 years ago he told me in a couple years we'd get a Keeper of Secrets and daemons seperate from an Emperor's Children release (something else he says is coming next year but has been repeated by many). Now, the thing is, most recently, he has come to me with a very particular rumor. I trust the guy complicity, but even I had to swallow a bit when he told me. Going through my collection, only one other non-4chan rumor-lord that I know of has posted anything similar, and that was over a year ago in the comments of Naftka by a person that hardly posts rumors. (Which I attached with info redacted as I don't think the person wants to be put on the spot). So I've decided to post my friend's rumor, because if it comes to pass he get's bragging rights. The following is from my friend paraphrased by me:

"Tomb Kings" are returning, being re-done not as a new army, but a "new " one. In the same manner as Daughters of Khaine and Gloomspite Gitz, with a mix of new and old models and re-named. So, they won't be "Tomb Kings" they'll be AoS-fied Egyptian army in the vein of Tomb Kings.  He also heard about some more Deathrattle, of which The Sepulcharal Guard are a preview at how some of the new skellies will look. Of this part he is not certain, but in his opinion the two are one and the same.

I personally have a Tomb Kings army, so I have to be honest and say I'm very biased in my belief in his info lol. He has no info on date, but from my personal experience his rumors have come to pass as soon as 6 months to as far as 2 years so who knows. So maybe its the upcoming Death Battletome or maybe we'll see it after all the tomes have been updated. That's all I've got on that. I don't have much else AoS-wise, I've got a collection from various 40K rumors but its all just stuff I've screencapped like I said. An interesting tidbit  though regarding the recent rumor engine pics that look like dinosaurs: I have a couple screencaps where Atia said a few years ago that we may get Exodites (for 40K) in a few years (from that point in time). My friend has also said that Seraphon were not getting a major release of models outside of spells, terrain, and tome for a while, so maybe a correlation.

I know that this is a bit out there, but I would re-introduce Tomb Kings as the first cross-GA battletome. The book would contain two allegiance packages:

    • One faction of Order aligned TK that have generally regained more of their pre-curse consciousness, led by Settra and maybe Khalida (which could require some explanation or a ret-con). Focused on Hysh.
    • One faction of Death aligned TK that are led by Arkhan, or possibly a different or new character. Focused on Shyish.

Completely scrap all of the finecast kits and the really old plastic kits, so we start with the following:

    • Tomb Guard
    • Necropolis Knights/Sepulchral Stalkers
    • Warsphinx/Necrosphinx

Most "big" releases have been getting in the 7-10 kit range including terrain and endless spells/invocations, so I'll limit myself to that:

    • Skeleton infantry/archers dual kit
    • Skeleton chariots kit
    • Melee/ranged Ushabti dual kit
    • Necrolith Colossus/Hierotitan dual kit
    • Liche Priest/Warlock hero blister
    • Settra/Arkhan hero kit
    • Khalida (or other secondary hero) blister
    • Endless Spells/Invocations
    • Casket of Souls/Suns terrain piece

If they let me have a 10th kit I'd probably go for the screaming skull catapult.

Each of the kits would be designed such that it could be assembled to reflect either of the two factions with things like headswaps, shield swaps or various decorative bits.

Both allegiances would have access to the full roster of units, except the only the Death side would have the Necrolith Colossos while the Order side would get the Hierotitan. Most of the warscrolls would have wording that would change their functionality depending on whether they have the DEATH or ORDER keyword.

The Order faction would be a priest faction with no wizards, while the Death faction would be the opposite.

Overall the book would be written to push new design space and show off how subtle rules changes can alter the playstyle of a faction dramatically. The kits would be designed to create a stunning, fully fleshed out army that would be appealing to as wide an audience as possible while also maintaining an element of "backwards compatibility" so that they appeal to folks still playing  8th edition, for example.

EDIT: I'll note that while I did end up cutting some cool units, I focused on cutting things that are redundant from a gameplay perspective. Sepulchral Stalkers cover the deepstrike/mobility plan just fine, rendering Tomb Scorpions, Scarab Swarms, and Carrion unnecessary. Horse archers and Horsemen are largely redundant with chariots, and chariots are far more iconic (and easier to design in a way that can be built to two different aesthetics with relatively minor changes). Necrotects and Tomb Heralds are unnecessary.

sign me up for this. i love this idea.

I guess your Settra/Arkhan is a Chariot Kit?

    Seems related to Death IMHO

This + the possible Kemmler indicating a possible death faction with some bone related miniatures..maybe we get rules for Tomb Kings modells..
