  1. Not sure that they do, FW makes the miniatures but without a Battletome, or similar, then it's up to the player to decide just what their Legion of Azgorh actually represnts.

One concept is simply Dispossesed who tunnelled too deep into the earth and awoke foul entities who taught them secrets of forging their war machines. Another might be that they're a group of Khadron who were banished for pushing their inventions too far

Interesting! Yes I would definitely try to meet this with version 3. Just out of interest, the current version has 16 pages, but also has a front cover and inside cover increasing it to 18. I imagine the divisible by 4 needs to include these as its being printed softback?

Yup, basically it's all the pages and then allows you to use a saddle stiched layout, so it can lie flat

  3. In terms of Pink Horrors, if you miss the fact that each spell is only meant to be cast once, you can easily dominate your opponent by shutting down their casting attempts, whilst always ensuring your own are successful by sheer number of dice rolls.

One option to limit things further is to have failed casting rolls inflict a wound on the caster, or inflict a wound if a double is rolled.

  4. I'm all for the inclusion of a Mordheim style skirmish game, but I'm not sure the General's Handbook is the place to include this.

That said, as a prelude to this, can we see either points per model, or halve the unit sizes on most things, so that we get more flexibility in building warbands.

Path to Glory is in need of balancing work, the power scale between different warbands makes it very difficult to have fun games when some armies get involved. They also feel just a little bit too large, and would benefit from being bought down in side.

Summoning would benefit from a tweak to reflect that you aren't guarenteed to get the points into play. Either alter it, so that the allocated points represents the maximum amount you can have in play at any one time, or give a slight reduction in the points cost or a boost to the unit model count.

Local GW managers rarely know anything we don't, IIRC. Unless it's something major they've been explicitly briefed on.

Not true, they get quarterly briefings on upcoming releases, broad strokes on various products and so on. What you'll find is that most give off an impression of knowing ****** all because they're good employees and know how to keep confidential information secret.

  6. I'd expect you to run into issues when playing any serious games, due to reduced line of sight, but less on casual games.

Would suggest mounting them something to model them as leaping if I was doing so.

Personally, I am still holding onto hope and conspiracy theories for the return of the Tomb Kings.

I heard Settra accused Slaanesh of inappropriate behaviour and was forced to take a contract with Mantic Games just to continue to make his ends meet due to the fallout. Meanwhile Slaanesh has been placed on a timeout until retro-80's haristyles come back into fashion.

  8. My other half wanted to try Age of Sigmar with a Skaven army after playing a Grey Seer in WHQ and so I picked her up a Clan Pestilens box set

Of course, I'm a huge converter so couldn't leave those spare miniatures behind and have added the Grey Seer Skreetch and his loyal servant Gromph to her collection. Gromph is seen here grabbing a baby phoenix to help stoke the fires of Skreetch's enchanted brazier
