A new Death faction would have me super excited cause aside the Nighthaunt the rest of the models are quite ancient and anything new would need to have more models and replacing the existing ones. I only hope they will be less generous with the new models because you don’t really need all those present in the Nighthaunt release... For all speaking about Tomb Kings, how can that not be a brand new faction anyway?? They surely are not going to recycle the old miniatures even if they were coming back, so new for new all factions are up for the grabs. But I would see Deathrattle in front of Soulblight because of the Shadespire warband.

I don’t imagine any changes before the end of the year if I were to bet on it. Easy to get to those numbers, Nagash is 800 points, any other Mortarch is 400 points a piece and all Nighthaunt I think is more than 3000 points.

Well all is possible, it happened to me already. I started Nighthaunt and when LoN came out all summons were gone so I either had to buy more Nighthaunt (old models) or start LoN by buying the new battlelines and then Nighthaunt came out... as a result I have around 7000 points of death units usable in different contexts... so not impossible that does not happen again.

No details on that sorry. I would think it’s part of the starter set with some scenery but I don’t know. I would hope they get the beasts of chaos keyword at least

@Elmir the new scenery was up to display at Warhammer fest and you could “play with it”. Really light and modular but yeah climbing those stairs is gonna be an issue for some miniatures sizes. On the other side expect at least 2 boxes if not 3, cause the square temple is in a separate box. The round one must be in another and the strange Dias with the globe inside probably a third box. And the square temple is huge!

Well resumed @SlyRebirth, exactly my experience! Regarding the new death faction there were also rumours here earlier of a new Nagash book without Nighthaunt although my money would go into Deathrattle first to make the underworld warband finally usable and then Nagash without Nighthaunt or some sort of summon/alliance system different than the other factions

The nice thing about the new warband, apart their two snakes leader, is that swarms are back! With the small snakes pet miniature at the bottom. Have more pictures if you can’t find them online. After the preview I was searching them and Ben Johnson chased me to point me towards them after an hour earlier he told me he can’t tell me if new miniatures were going to be displayed because the seminar was not finished yet 😂😂😂 Anyway my biggest complain is that I did 90 minutes of queue to get to the seminar tickets and find out all previews seminars were full. We then got few teasers for spin off games but nothing for the mainstream game. Compared to last year with Soul Wars you can imagine that as disappointing. Personally had lots of fun and clearly the new Contrast paint was the highlight with something like 50 maybe more spots to try the new paints constantly occupied and everyone pretty happy with the outcome. I just think 34 pots and 2 cans are gonna be a slow investment. Back to Warcry they didn’t say here but pictures show the creatures that they are going to fight (6 furies and 6 death chickens, internal nickname) so there will be some sort of AI, that looks exciting!! And their design concept outstanding:

There are 34 new pots and 2 new sprays specially designed to be used with the new colours. One (White) to build color up and one (grey) the other way around (less bright). Other sprays are good too except obviously the darker ones like Black Chaos. There will be 3 flesh colours

Is Warcry far away? Summer officially starts in less than 45 days... the starter set warbands have already been revealed, we may only need to know how the game will actually play and then how to include the existing models in the game for all those factions without new warbands. But I agree, anything new coming tomorrow will be welcome.

I'm not sure all Forbidden Power will be revealed considering the first story building up to it was released only today... There's another preview this month, but indeed tomorrow looks like to be the biggest one before the summer

There was also a mention in the Core Book about a race of golems from Chamon. How early you have to arrive to Ricoh Arena to secure the 14.00 seminar? I'm super looking forward!!!

Well UK is currently at a political spat with China because of Huaweiand the 5G network but I doubt it reached that level already

I like the new trees but I hope they either replace or complement the old ones otherwise as Sylvaneth you would have to buy more trees than a gardener in a lifetime!! @Skabnoze here many have said that most endless spells are still produced in China and I don’t see with which other countries they would have problems of import, but I don’t have any inside information

I think the battletome was meant to come with Looncurse but of course that was not made possible. I guess is problems with imports from China? I hope it’s not few months!!

Man I feel you, however I convinced my gf to paint the Sylvaneth part so for me Looncurse would complement my 120 grots to rebase and then... I just started two new armies I didn’t really need 😂😂😂😭😭😭😭

Yeah strange it buffs Kurnoths instead of Revenants, but also really suspicious they left 120 points for free just for more command points... can they be hiding a battalion?

I think a better argument would be that Everchosen is a really old battletome without allegiance abilities and this means that one day we should see an update and recent trends and logic would hint to a combined book with Slaves / Darkoath. When this will happen it’s up for debate (and bets).

One of the things I mentioned in the survey is inspired by the new coming soon section of black library in the community site. Would be pretty good to have a rough idea of what is coming in the next 6 months, maybe not detailed or exact dates but like spring new battletomes for Khorne and Ironjawz, Slaanesh release, summer Warcry and something else... I know it’s a long shot but worth mentioning. Would help my painting schedule enormously. On the topic about double turn I would not mind having initiative as an extra value to add to the dice roll, that way you can predict the direction of turns but you still have a random component (1 being failure and so on).

As long as cross-platform does not involve mobile then in listening... While I would be really excited by TW AOS I’m conscious it is years away if not only because the lore building of AoS is not yet at the stage fantasy battle was. Sure there’s much more left to the imagination and creativity of developers but while that works well in a game that focuses only on one small part of the world (Shadespire a good example), a massive strategy game needs an entire world being created and I’m not sure CA is ready yet to go and create that (real world and warhammer world were already quite well detailed before they started even designing).... But we can keep hoping, maybe a Saga game in a small part of one of the realms

I think someone here already mentioned that GW answered a question about Darkoath getting new BT during Warcry presentation as “new war bands is what they are getting for a while at least”... Gitmob grots and Greenskinz did not disappear the same way Bretonnia and Tomb Kings, they are just not supported anymore but they are still a viable option as allies and even in a standalone army if you really want to... until the GHB comes this year at least. Many units out of production are still available in AoS like the Harpies and the Spire of Dawn models...

Sorry I meant the other warscrolls. Nighthaunt and maybe Stormcast and BoC may benefit from the new trend on endless spells with some changes on the wording, maybe even the generic ones. But as per current trend it will be years before they are updated. Like the Nighthaunt scythe would make sense if it was ignored by anyone with the Nighthaunt keyword... etc
