great work Phil, i do like this guy,the flames contrast nicely and the sword has an "otherworldly danger" to it, as in don't get cut with that, it'll leave a mark
having all white robes with the fade out makes him stand out more and makes the metal armor pop more!

Yeah Beautiful work, nice browns on his cape and the blue is very striking !! in a good way

Thanks for explaining your technique i actually think i have some vallejo rust pigment about !! will it work the same if i use matte medium instead of the Varnish?...

I was wondering if the Eidolon model could be converted and used as a mummy/tomb king figure with that cape of his modeled/painted up like a huge sandstorm type cape idea ...?!...
