Hasn’t most of the US been caught in a massive snowstorm? They were saying on warhammer weekly that a local store hadn’t got any of the the new releases due to the weather messing the shipment up.
Weird hair = soulblight gravelords. I’m totally fine with this over the chrome dome boys.

If i'm going to be honest apart from the New Varghulf thing nothing on the hostile side in the Warhammer Quest box really interests me. I've never liked zombies and prefer the old skegs over the new ones, maybe they'll grow on me.
The Wight King though! Classic updated and perfect imo. Disappointed no Abhorash or further actual soulblight gravelords reveal, the whole Lumineth thing really bored me to death. How big is that army going to be?

It's a weird one, I stopped buying in store years ago as the staff members I knew all left to work at GW HQ.
I buy direct from GW (online) apart from if it's a big model and/or a model I want painted better than my skill will allow, then I'm on ebay or dedicated model painting sites.

Imo, the main diference between them and AoS is that the later has the most debastating double turn between all of them (IGYG and a ranged/magic meta seems to help too).Double turn in lotr worked pretty well imo. Although I’m a massive fan boy for that game system.

They are different teams that deal with 40k and AoS though aren't they? With the current situation here in the UK there's no telling how many staff are furloughed etc. GW will always priortise 40k over anything else.

Well at least bar the Apocalypse the Underworlds warband is coming out this year and some of the Warhammer Quest stuff too hopefully.
One thing I joked about earlier but now has actually got me quite torn; do I rebase everything onto rounds now?
I only really play games against my brother and we don't particularly mind if (mostly in my case) most of our models being on squares. I also am reluctant to rebase since The Old World was announced, he however has no interest in going back to that.
If Soulblight Gravelords get a lot of new kits for battleline and everything else, I'm almost contemplating starting afresh.
If the current skeleton kit remains and Grave Guard/Black Knights remain I'd be less inclined to do so. Love the waiting game lolz.

I've squeezed a few games last year and my complaints are the same as they have been since AoS 1. Morghasts are too expensive for what they do and in Bonereapers unless you like the models too much (like I do), most people will just play Stalkers instead.
I'm quite resigned to the fact this will most likely never change.

It wasn’t until 7th Ed that all vampires had armour; in 6th it was only Blood Dragons and all the others were much more comfortably dressed. They did explain in 7th that they were showing vampires tooled up for war and not at high society banquets. I guess this is just following on from that thought process. The 6th Ed vamps for the different bloodlines were pretty cool

Personally I'd be happy if it was a Halloween release especially if that meant a deluge of new models. Plus it gives me plenty of time to save for all this hotness.
Even though I have plenty of vampires in various guises, I'm contemplating of retiring them all and using the underworlds ones. They're so nice and have enough oldwolrd with enough AoS, round bases here I come...
