  1. or you could just start out with having the options of playing both sides and build up which side you want, which is also good for newer players.

the box gives you the ability to tryout if you want to play squigs or Troggs at the start which a pure force doesn't allow you to.

Counting the models, and the box cover, the Gitz has to be a printing error. There are 7 trolls, out of 22 models, including the loon boss means it actually says you will get 14 squigs???

remembering the squig rider sprues i don't think its possible to have 4 squigs with out purposely taking one of them out since the torso (both Squig and rider) come in 5

I could have worded my post better, I meant better minions for Neferata like new Blood Knights, Vampire Infantry, maybe some of her spies as elites, etc.
    I love Neferata's current kit!

    ah ok

well i do hope they do something with both Legion of Blood and Legion of Night and refresh the Vampire and fell bat kits while they are at it.

This would tease Slaanesh players and give Neferata some new models. I see this as an absolute win!

But let’s just take it one step further and have pompous, excessive vampire royalty that can fight for Death or Slaanesh.

i don't see any problem with he current Neferata model (other then sharing the kit with Arkhan and Mannfried)

or rather the kits seems way too new to be straight up replaced anytime soon

I guess the slaanesh release could either be massive (if this is the whole release) or quite small if this is the starter before summers main course.

either in jan or summer we are likely to get

    1. the new born

    2. slaangor

    3. harem Pants archers

    4. harem pants swords/spears

    some new heroes ?

    maybe slaaneshi chaos ogors

if this is the show that replaces the Blood and Glory preview, i  think this maybe the same size release as the S2D releasee that was reveal and release in the same time period.

I think our broken realm book will contain all the new rules and hosts to update our current tome. GW did say they are using broken realms to rewrite warscrolls after all. There is a reason why Hellstriders aren't battleline anymore, unless it's an error.

yeah they probably pull an Engine War and put the warscrolls and rules  in the supplements like what they did with the Admech model they released

    Gloomspite again?

Then again I think Guard and Tau are on their third Battleforce at this point?

I figure squigs are likely really popular for the Gloomspite as a model. Plus these sets are often aimed at either collecting together what plastic there is within a range and/or focusing on beginner/expansion collections of models. The Tau and Imperial Guard also look similar in containing a lot of core models; again ideal for someone just getting started or someone looking to make a significant force expansion.

I think last year, the Gloomspite Battleforce box sold the best out of the other three boxes. it was the one box that got temporary sold out  on the web store, stock was moving pretty fast on Amazon, and it was the only Battleforce box that year that was put on the Bestseller list (if that means anything)

that probably the reason GW would do them again this year for Battleforce boxes

Considering the focus on DoK right now and the fact that we've got the warscroll cards I'm surprised GW has held off on the points for them. I can only hope that the individual box for them is just around the corner.

did any of the warcry warband had points on release, i seem to recall they didn't get points until after the S2D tome came

What have we got left? Death guard for pre-order next week maybe. Underworlds in December and general Christmas stuff?

Presumably some sort of preview on Christmas.

Slaanesh for aos and the next broken realms plus the two 40k books in January?

Death guard and blood angel Codex are suppose to be release in December.

there is still those Warcry GA book

  10. i think though Wanderers will probably be replace with Kurnothi, though i do expect at least the wild riders and maybe some of the newer kits to be merge in with them.

same reason how high elves got replace with Realmlords

No but the losses of costumer could be surprisingly high😋

nah that just fantasy Grognog talk really

costumers would just make switch to making Skaven furry suites for all the unwash masses

The second point would only make shooting worse. It would just mean that shooting armies get to shoot you twice a turn.

Also, in all polls on this topic I have seen people prefer the double turn over I-go-you-go. The double turn has a crucial function: Mitigating the advantage of going first. If you remove it, we'll quickly shift into an alpha strike meta. The real answer is to make the double turn more interactive so that you can play to get it or deny it to your opponent.

the other poll I saw there was a An equal clear divide on keeping double turn and ditching It so quite a controversial mechanic right now

  13. oh so we been bamboozaled,

well TBF Umbraneath did sound a bit too on the nose, even for GW's naming convention it seem a bit too convenient.

In BR:Morathi, it's either a Vampire or Be'lakor helping that Stormcast Lord.

well if it is Be'lakor i don't think he there to help Von Brecht, probably there to torture him for eternity to find out information

though i am leaning more into Vampire because of the tiny background info we get on Von Brecht even if it could be a misdirect.

Don't know if we will get the spotlight at all, but I would love if they revisited some warscrolls. Gobbapalooza is the most obvious one, but I would like to see Dankholds revisited too. Rockguts are bulky and good against armor, Fellwaters are harder to hit and better against hordes, and Dankholds... exist? In a void they aren't bad, but they don't math out very good against other Troggoth/Gloomspite choices. I don't think they need a massive change, maybe an extra attack and/or a change to Squiggly-beast Followers (seriously, a single mortal wound at point blank range against a unit with less than 6 models is terrible).

i guess if they think we are one of the desperate faction that need some big changes, the only other ones that have similar problems to Gitz are Sylvaneath, BoC, maybe LoN, and Nighthaunt.

though looking at Broken realm Morathi, the changes really vary between the different armies.  i hope we get at least the IDK treatment with the four warscroll rewrites that they got. or even the new Allegiance ability that Stormcast got could be useful as well.
