8 monstruous rampage each charge phase seems crazy and fun. I just need some monsters for my KOs...

i believe you can only use four since there only 4 listed you can use once per charge phase unless there are more of them we didn't see

  2. Some good stuff here

another way to unbind spells, get command points, or heal if you are lucky.

you can super charge each mega Gargant with finest hour once per battle.

    for monstrous rampage:

more MW on the charge and if your stuck in combat

prevent units from getting combat buffs on a 3+

titanic duel actually synergies well with death grip if you are facing a monster

    terrain smashing

It comes at the tradeoff of using Their Finest Hour with that hero (or another hero) or getting an extra command point on a 4+, and it's not guaranteed you pass the Bravery check, so I think that's fine.

true though finest hour is once per battle so it something you want to use at the right time.

some hero with bravery ten are the most reliable character for Heroic recovery

i do like their a chance of failure on some of these abilities

One thing I do like is how, with monsters being able to turn commands off, battleshock becomes a thing again.

no, it only for the following combat phase (which is good since there are a lot of combat phase CAs) not battleshock phase

  5. looking at the new hero and monster ability for 3.0, there is some stuff that could be interesting

Kraggy can reliably be healed d3 wounds  in every hero phase since he has a bravery of ten

he also get to use one of those monstrous rampage abilities like d3 MW, =1 to hit monster though every other monster get access to it, but it does synergies well with his insane combat stateline

None? He got a couple right, and this is from 18 days ago.

Pretty sure he piggyback off the grimdark live rumor of the Hobgobblin like army of the time and that the only thing that is remotely correct ATM.

until we see the rest of the SCE and Kruleboyz unit the rumor is still sus

  7. there was some potato cam pics of Killaboss with Stab-Grots Warscroll taken from the livestream on Grimdark live

    it has three melee profile

first one is 4 attack 4/3/-1/2

second one is 4 attacks 3/4/-2/1

one of these is the Axe and the other is the Flail

and the grot is 2 attacks 4/4/0/1

    couldn't really see anything else

  8. I heard that Warhammer weekly said that they are in BIG WAAAGH! because they have the Orruk Keyword but additionally get their own Tome as well. Eddie apprently said it but not clearly on the livestream that this is the case.

Also the Warscroll cards and army labeler are Kruleboyz instead of Orruk Warclans so there is that

I've said this a few times but unfortunately, based on past and current practices, it is impossible for gw to do proper waves of releases for every faction within one edition. We will get at most 12 full sized waves of minis this edition, with one off heroes or underworlds warbands for the rest.

if i recall correctly the big/significant model releases for AoS 2.0 where

SCE - NH - Gitz -Slaaneshi - OBR - S2D - LRL - Sons - Slaaneshi (again) - LRL (again) - Soulblight - the random stuff in BR Kragnos

  10. Some Grimdark Live hot takes

1  will be fast moving and sneaky.

2 They will be playable in Warclans via Big Waagh! but also get there own Battletome. their source didn't specify this though

3 Hobgrot wolf riders and more warmachines.

4 Chaos Dwarfs will come. They will not be named Chaos Dwarfs.

they have more information down the line that they are keeping to themselves for the moment,

    Oh god Frontier.

The games studio that makes me love and hate thier work at the same time.  Playing anny thing by frontier feels like finding a treasure in a pig pen.

so from what i gather Frontier Foundry is a new label and basically is Frontier development partnering and giving money to smaller studio to make games for their portfolio.

so I believe whatever game they are revealing from them is not actually made by them directly

I really hope Focus Home Interactive uses this opportunity to fix Necromunda: Underhive Wars. It feels like this game is one big patch away from being playable. But they probably already moved on.

The Warhammer license is a graveyard of great looking bad games.

well Focus Home Interactive is a publisher, i believe Underhive Wars was made by Rogue Factor who have a bad track record of making unpolish buggy games at launch and sort of abandon Mordheim after their Vampire DLC

  13. Image

list of Developers related to the event

    SEGA/CA - TW:W3 (duh)

Frontier Foundry- is a new label under Frontier Interactive that work with Smaller studio to create games (I believe) - AOS RTS that been rumored

    Fatshark: Darktide  (40K vermintide )

Focus Interactive - most likely more Necromunda hire gun stuff, could be actual promotion for Stormground or a new Warhammer title.

    Slitherine - 40k Battlesector

Nacon - they did Warhammer Chaosbane and Inquisitor, maybe they are releasing a new title, AoS Diablo Game maybe?

The way the hobgrots anatomy is proportioned, they seem like a wierd genetic cross of dwarf and goblin. Maybe some new origin lore coming? Wouldn't put it past chaos dwarf sorcery.

I think the anatomy proportion of the Hobgrot is the same shape as the regular Kruleboyz they both have the lanky arm and stunt leg body they just different sub breed

  15. doing different  Armor set probably gives GW infinite creative space of making new Stormcast in the future, much like the Ironman comics

Oh no the Mortal realm has been affected by massive floods, time to release the underwater combat armor set

Oh no we need fight enemies in Space, time for the Astronaut armor set

I’m thinking rule-wise for these guys they will have some sort of deep strike shenanigans or at least the ability to pop up from the board edge, it would fit their sneaky theme.

they seem to also have a lot of poison coated weaponry on their melee and range units. (probably MW of some kind)
