I too have been busy with the backlog, but mostly my time is taken up by college(got all A's for the first time in my academic history though, so it paid off). You’re right @MitGas, GW should be adding stuff to existing factions besides a one off hero unit now and there. For Tzeentch I really want to see those doom knights (the warriors on discs) from total war, and a unit of daemonic vultures that disrupt/steal the spells of slain wizards (like a horde of mini lords of change). On the Necromunda front, it’s true that so far the only truly unique chaos kit is for Khorne, but there’s so much potential that’s being left untapped! They could have a corrupted “hospital” for Nurgle, a roving Cirucs or Water Guild for Slaanesh (or both!), and Tzeentch could be some form of corrupted mechanic/whatever! I’m bringing them up because it looks like the Khorne cult is getting imported to other bits of the lore besides necromunda, and that creates a new look at chaos besides the usual insane hordes marching forth.

I’m just counting down the days till the big reveal, and hoping that we get some sign of a chaos faction besides marines (like a new necromunda gang).

@KingBrodd, I’m sorry your swoleness, but I do not think GW will be that kind to us until after the New Year.

From what I recall there's actually a lot of implication of Emperor's Children being inbound, particularly from the Psychic Awakening series of books. Plus, it makes business sense to unleash the legion dedicated to the god that wants all the Eldar's souls alongside the Eldar refresh (GW really wants our money after all).

Now we know where the Fyreslayers vs Idoneth rumors came from: someone saw this and added “fyre” to confuse us.

Unfortunately I can’t help you, @Neverchosen, cause I mostly have the opposite problem. currently my two “main” armies are Hedonites and Gravelords/Tomb Kings duking it out in the heart of an ancient swamp. While both factions would be boosted by the battle forces, I’m stuck with deciding how to work some of the units into the narrative. my skeletal legions work with vampires, in fact there’s a knightly order dedicated to Khsar, god of the desert, named “The Order of the Red Sand” who serve him and him alone, to say nothing of the priestesses of Lunaghast, the Consort of Sekhubis. But I don’t have a place for the vengorian lord, and it’s bothering me cause it’s an awesome model!!! the Hedonites are admittedly less of an issue, as no matter how I build the calvary and myrmidesh, I’ll have bits leftover that I can use to convert the Slaves to Darkness start collecting to the cause(or use on some of the Disciples of Tzeentch range I’m allying in to make them fit aesthetically). Though the ad-mech box still remains a problem, and my pile of shame is already decently large….

The struggle is real @Neverchosen, I'm bouncing between the soulblight, slaanesh, and admech boxes right now.

Same, @KingBroddhow about you? Also, I might be picking up two of the battleforce boxes this year: the Soulblight and Slaanesh boxes are just too good.

Honestly? the most realistic answer to your question is through conversions/kitbash and good old fashion creativity. Bataar, for example, seems to be an entire nation-state of the old "Arabian Nights" bazaar, therefore for a decent base you could kit bash the Slaanesh and Tzeentch mortals with some order factions such as (may Hashut and Settra forgive me) the Lumineth Scinari and Wind Temple kits.

I'm sorry for potentially forcing the thread off topic (a rare occasion, as we all know), but can we appreciate the detail on the CA models for the ogre butcher and firebelly? I mean seriously, if this is what we can expect for AOS when these molds do get updated, I know a few people on this site will be very happy.

I'm fairly certain that Doom Knights will be a thing in TOW, but until then we could probably convert them using the new chaos warrior kit and tzaangor enlightened.

While I’m personally happy for more news/rumors regarding the release of TOW and the rules that it will use, I’m more concerned about what model kits will be produced. In other words, when is GW gonna bring back the plastic Tomb Kings kits from 8th?!
