  1. As usual your Swoleness, you're right. Imagine what they could do with FEC if they expanded on the undead beasts and court intrigue side of things... As for Ossiarchs, I really want to see some named characters outside of Katakros' bois. Perhaps the "Queen of Tusks" rampaging through Ghur? after all we are in the Age of the Beast... Either way I hope one of them gets either a Sphinx or a War-Elephant creature, and some decent shooting.
  2. I think we can all agree that the hype train is real this coming week. New Daemon Prince model (thank god for conversion/kit-bashing, we're gonna need a facelift), new Chosen, a new Lord on Daemonic steed, a new named character (one sworn to Be'lakor of all beings), and most importantly...... CHAOS DWARFS IN PLASTIC!!!! I think we can all agree that this news, combined with the love chaos is getting in 40k, and the roadmap which includes two tomes for Chaos and Destruction paints a wonderful picture for the future. My sole complaint is that death gets nothing outside of Nighthaunts, which is fair considering the love it got during 2nd edition.
  3. Soโ€ฆ. I know what Iโ€™m buying this December.
  4. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2022/04/29/slaves-to-darkness-new-battletome-and-daemon-prince-unveiled/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=warhammer-age-of-sigmar&utm_content=slavestodarkness&fbclid=IwAR1SHPXTaDu9Z7BvanxEnZQq0z7udB8EU4_UdAMocoJG3nlleW7A8ZNkMmg Somebody mustโ€™ve gotten fired, cause the community just launched a new post.
  5. So if we use this model, we should have exactly four book around the start of TOW, similar to the old Grand Alliances we started with. Hopefully we then get some campaign books which expand the unit rosters as well.
  6. I'd say about half of the users on this site, followed by the chorf demographic, the Old World fans wishing it would come back sooner, and the few TK boys still kicking.
  7. Iโ€™m honestly surprised that GW hasnโ€™t added daemon rats to the skaven line yet. It only makes sense now that the Great Horned Rat is the fifth chaos god.
  8. Okayโ€ฆ.. who had money on albino daemon rats? Jokes aside Iโ€™m happy for the skaven players amongst us, hereโ€™s hoping the new models revealed tomorrow can help us all win the fight against the Usurper Nagash and avenge LONG LOST NEHEKHARA!!!! Or your local equivalent.
  9. Do my non-existent eyes deceive me? A fellow Tomb Kings player?! Jokes aside, the Thondia campaign seems like a wonderful lore expansion for the Era of the Beast. I sincerely hope that these books offer more insight into the various factions of the Mortal Realms, and potentially reveal a couple of new ones (Chaos Dwarfs and Tomb Kings reboot please!).
  10. BY LONG LOST NEHEKHARA! Itโ€™s not only a new faction, but one thatโ€™s not a different flavor of Space Marineโ€ฆ. Also if theyโ€™re releasing squats that means that the Dark Mechanicus has a chance of coming to the big tableโ€ฆ.
  11. Here's hoping that they release a multipart Chaos Warriors kit when that does happen, I don't like having to buy multiple copies of a PUSH-FIT kit to boost an army.
  12. I canโ€™t wait for those sweet crossbow sheets to work for the LONG LOST LEGIONS OF NEHEKHARA!!!
  13. New kind of ghoul hero, zombie warband, chaos knight, and a beast hunting hero.
  14. Less then an hour until the big reveals, ladies and gents, if youโ€™re still awake place your bets now.
  15. The Nature of Faith Camazhut walked through Vulturopolis bazaar, the pale witch light emanating from his bat winged helm piercing through the remnants of the morning fog with ease. Already he could hear the murmurs of the city's merchants as they jostled for the best spots to set out their wares. The scene was horribly familiar, and briefly reminded Camazhut of his mortal life before he had entered the service of Lord Zamses before he refocused on the task at hand. As Camazhut made his way through the crowded bazaar various merchants and the skeletal guards that patrolled it's streets bowed their heads in respect and silently prayed to lord Sekhubis and the local spirits that the Hand of the King did not stop at their stall. The mixture of awe and fear was the result of syncretism between the remnants of his people and the people of the bayou. Bats were seen as the heralds of a minor goddess of fortune amongst the many people of the Soul-Vine Bayou, whereas in Shyish they were viewed as the eyes and ears of the Usurper and his devoted servants. Therefore, Camazhut, with his bat shaped helm taken from the corpse of a fallen champion in the beginning of The Age of Chaos, was viewed as a harbinger of either good fortune or terrible judgement. He kept walking through the crowds until he reached the Temple District, and stopped before his intended destination. The Temple of Asaph was originally dedicated to the local Goddess of Poison, and was built in the manner of the Bayou-Tribes, its walls covered in fleur-de-lis and timeworn carvings of temple girls dancing with the djinn and spirits of the dead. When they had conquered this land The Twin headed Simurgh had ordered his devoted necrotects through his servant Zamses the Laughing Jackal to restore and expand upon the old building, mixing the ancient styles of their homeland with the preferences of their new subjects. Standing outside the first of its two gates was Priestess Najma, one of the first new members of the Mortuary Cult recruited from the local tribes. She was listening to a local musician as he sung a funeral dirge. She smiled when she saw Camazhut, and made her way towards the skeleton. "Lord Camazhut, what brings you to the temple grounds on such a fine day?" "The Humorous Blade requires your aid, oh Daughter of the Asp." Camazhut intoned, listening to the familiar tune of the bard, though there was something off about how to ancient tune touched reverberated through his bones, "The Scions of the Storm march on our home, and the Favored of the Vulture wishes to know their business." Najma frowned at the implications of his words, while the musician kept on singing, "I am honored that our lord places so much trust in my abilities, but wouldn't one of Lord Zemadi's .... consorts be a more appropriate choice?" "Our king king trusts the Blind Crocodile's get when it comes to decisions of war, not so much when it comes to politics." Camazhut chattered his teeth in a dead man's chuckle, "Besides that, you are still human...." The lyrics were wrong. Camazhut whirled into action as he finally realized that the musician was not what he seems. Pushing the priestess behind him as he raised his axe above his head. The musician had realized his fatal error too late, as the verdigris covered blade chopped down into his torso, tainted blood splattering onto the ground and his bones. Ignoring the screams of the mortals and the skeletal guards marching towards him, Camazhut extended one hand towards the necklace around the crosses neck, finding a symbol of The Architect of Fate. "Send for the Corpse Warden, and have the garrison gather in the courtyard," he ordered the frightened form of Najma "The servants of Aesha have infiltrated the city."
  16. I'd say either late this year or mid 2023 is when we'll start to see stuff for the Old World to be released. In particular I think we'll see some old plastic kits that discontinued make a comeback (High Elves and Tomb Kings for the most part).
  17. Iโ€™m allied with you because the skaven helped Alcadizzar avenge LONG LOST NEHEKHARA!!! But the moment I find one of your rats in my tombs you're doomed. All jokes aside, I want the Skaven to get some new models, theyโ€™re what happen when Jerry trains under Master Splinter while taking cocaine and I love it. I really want the clans Skyre and Eshin to get expanded on, especially after CA pimped them out in Total War.
  18. The day GW kills off Sigmar is the day they decide to End Times 40K.
  19. I personally hope for more The Old World news this coming Wednesday, but I hope to god that we get some news about any upcoming factions or battletomes!
  20. Agreed @KingBrodd, especially the Chaos Duardin.
  21. Araby lives! Thank you Cubicle7, for keeping the Fantasy-Middle East alive. I'm particularly interested in the Black Scimitar Guard and the Horsemen pictured above (it looks like his horse is covered in vampire skulls!).
  22. Thank you your royal Swoleness. Regardless of what happens next week, let us all be thankful that we have enough time and energy to "discuss" our opinions on the upcoming reveals.
  23. My hopes and predictions for Adepticon 2022 AOS The new rumored night haunt miniatures. The Chaos and Order Battletomes (Skaven and Sylvaneth most likely, despite my wishing otherwise). The zombie war band for Underworlds. New war cry warbands Chaos Dwarf tease. Warhammer Fantasy/Total War/The Old World Ind and Khuresh teased Chaos Dwarf DLC trailer. Inmortal Empires. 40k CSM codex drop, and all models rumored in 2021. Emperor's Children/World Eaters revealed. Horus Heresy New box set new edition Specialist Games Ash Waste Nomads and vehicles.
