Easily the best thing about him is his intestine "powdered" wig, since it's just so over the top and gruesome and I can't wait to paint it as his court marches alongside my sons and daughters of the desert.

We already got a replacement for Gotgers and the hunter, bring on the new Yeti hordes!!!!

I KNOW THE FEELING @KingBrodd!!! TRULY IT IS A MODEL OF MACABRE BEAUTY AND MAKES ME EXCITED FOR THE RETURN OF NOT ONLY THE SUMMERKING, BUT LONG LOST NEHEKHARA!!!!! It says something about one's hobby when you start to question whether or not you should purchase a book on medieval warfare in order to play a fantasy game. Personally I just intend to model these new ghouls off of the actual crusader armies (probably King Richard III and the Third Crusade if I'm being honest), the answer is that you're not alone. I'm hoping we get either the chancellor/vizier (a new wizard), or a kind of priest/bishop (maybe a named character trying to bring the FEC more under Nagash's reign). Either way these models have been amazing so far and I hope GW keeps the hype train going.

@Snarff someone posted pictures of an upcoming updated crypt ghoul kit on this thread about a month ago (they apparently scored it in a trunk sale). They also posted pictures of the built models and they look amazing.

Okay, now the FEC are cooking with gas! Definitely restarting my collection, starting with this guy and a couple of the Warcry warband. My favorite part has to be his rib-garland, since it frames his face like a demented lion’s mane/burning sun.

According to Valrak the kill team box after the next one will have a Night Lords Upgrade Sprue. Which if true means I'll need to buy three of them at minimum.

Darkoath= new marauders/light horse cavalry. Khorne= updated Valkia and/or Khorgos Khul unique model (since his original is used as a generic lord). problem solved.

Maybe Dawnbringers could be setting up a major conflict between FEC and Khorne, as the crazed hordes of Ushoran launch their own “crusades” against the forces of chaos in order to curry favor with Nagash?

Once again the Lord of Two Thin Coats comes to GW's rescue! Dang, I need to buy some of his paints.....

If, and it's a very big if at this point, we were to see a contender for Nagash's throne in Shyish, I personally think Khalida as a better replacement than Settra. Her background lore has her being a badass paladin of the Nehekharan goddess of beauty, magic, and revenge who begged her chosen deity to kill her rather than become a vampire. When she rose once again as a Tomb Queen her whole thing was "point me at vamps, and have a good day," to the point where Settra himself was cool with her, allowing her to stay active and rule over Lybaras and Lamia with his blessing. Lorewise she could be an avatar of uncorrupted death: fighting back against Nagash's twisting of the underworlds and allowing them to heal once again.

My money is on either a Tomb Kings character reveal, FEC kits finally being discussed, or a blood bowl character.

It physically hurts me that this statement is true.... GW really should've made it a six game event.

Those techno-pipes alone make me want to start a squat prospector gang.
