White Dwarf said 14 units. So if sharks has 2 options we have 15 total. But thinking maybe sharks have in the same sheet both weapons and theres not one unit appart. But for this maybe the eel riders were the same, or the blind guys... so I dont know how they will put this

I see two different sharks. The one on the right and the one on the left have a different boltthrower than the two sharks on the middle. Plus the one on the right has a spear on the hand if Im not blind. I cant see difference between turtles. The rest is known. PD: White dwarf lied

Dont having Teclis will not make me to not buy this models, I like them a lot and it's the first army I will buy without star collecting packs and I'm sure I will buy all the units in both options. Said that, I just love Alarielle, and I had Wood Elves on Fantasy 15 years ago but a friend started Sylvaneth buying Drycha and Alarielle first (no battlelines, no nothing...) so I dont want more sylvaneth and was hoping to have a great model with the idoneth as Teclis is his mentor.... seems I'll have to wait one year to the angelical Aelfs to have that huge model. Someone said Teclis and Tyrion will go as a same miniature, I hope they dont but if its done I hope they could go on idoneth and Angelical ones. So the idoneth is the only aelf faction without father now

Because when Tyrion and Teclis were taking the souls from Slanesh the first souls that emerged Teclis said it were his souls. Then he took them to Hyish and made a city to teach magic and search inside those souls finding something dark and tryied to convert them. I thought after all that efforts would be his leader as Alarielle created Sylvaneth and Morathi the DoK... but seems Teclis abandoned Idoneth for second time. That said, and of the thing about the kits I think we have already seen all the kits. The 2 forms of the Eidolon has benn shown, the 2 unicorn guy has been shown and the 2 snake mounted guys has been shown, so as the shark, turtle and the four heroes... We have seen evertything

So Teclis is not out... meh... It's like incomplete army for me. So the pirate guy on the unicorn that has a Sword given by Teclis must be the top general because the Eidolon is like an invocation

I want to trust that but starting to think there are not new things. Maybe I'm wrong but I think that if White Dwarf says 14 units and we can easily count that 14 units there's nothing more. Maybe white dwarf is fooling us but for GW would be better to say, for example, 18 units and all the hype would go so up with speculations and that so I don't think White Dwarf is fooling us. I thought Teclis would come with Idoneth as all other Aelfs got his Creator as a figure but reading all seems the Idoneth passed away of Teclis and followed their own path. Maybe Teclis will come with Tyrion with the Angelical Aelfs, or maybe later but if Battletome comes this 14 it is time for GW to make some hype and show something like they did with DoK. I wanna be wrong but I'm starting to dont wait anything new

This sounds so sad to me as the eidolon is said 3 builds... I was hoping to see something else I have seen all pictures again and seems Eidolon has 2 builds (blind with sword and curved dagger and with the other helmet and trident with pearlhammer). So the other unit must be the other configuration to the eel snakes. So sad we've got 0 surprises

This rumor picture looks like its painted. Maybe something releasing in bery short time? Teclis mounted on something??

DoK have both khaine avatar and Morathi. Maybe not know but sooner or later ID should have Teclis riding a big kraken or a whale as Alarielle figure

I still thinking Teclis will appear. In the last picture of the text its said they are the children of Mathlann and Teclis took them to Hysh and build a city for teaching magic and good manners. I don't know almost anything about lore and don't know who's Mathlann, I think I read it was an ancient god and that the surfer guy is Mathlann's Avatar. That sounds great but if Teclis was truly who created the idoneth, doesn't matter if he passed away and went creating high elves next because now as the text says he reclaimed that souls and took them to be his teacher, and if he took so much effort on searching for light inside those souls I think he would not let them away for second time. And remember Teclis is angry so maybe he likes that darkness now and can twist it in something he likes so... I have the hope to see a Teclis miniature

That is a good point but for that I would go sylvaneth... Im the same as u, waiting to see the rules. I mainly use SCE but have sylvaneth, kharadron and undead. The Alarielle commanding Idoneth would not be same useful as with Sylvaneth. One magic of Alarielle is healing sylvaneth units, if u use idoneth u cant do that... so as Alarielle is 600 points and allies are till 400 in 2k points army. Said that I hope Idoneth will be similar to Sylvaneth army as the magic and area attacks like Drycha, but with more armor I hope I like them

Maybe Im wrong but in the teaser video of the idoneth is supposed to be Teclis who speaks isnt it? And he says that seeing an entire race fail about the high elves and then he finds hope with the idoneth... I see there that Teclis turns into his ancient non perfect creation so I understand that idoneth is guided by Teclis

I hope this will never happen. It would be nice to have some kind of sinergy if you have in your army both Teclis and Tyrion, but put them together as one single model... I hope not.

Yea thats true but I thought they would have Teclis... as I think dark elves will have Malerion and Light elves will have Tyrion. So as chaos army's have their great demon, stormcast has the stardrake as a great model, undead have Nagash, ironjawz the maw krusha, Etc... I know Idoneth have the 3 avatars and I love them, so as the seaunicorn guy and the great turtle as great figure but... I think I just love Teclis old fantasy miniature and would love to have a new one

Hi all. I'm a huge fan of wood elves since I was 14 back on 90's. I started playing AoS and was waiting for an elven faction to appear so now I was going into Idoneth before seeing anything but I'm sad because of the fact Sylvaneth have Alarielle and DoK have Morathi but seems like ID will not have Teclis
