    One day you'll see.

I'll get my endless spells and who'll be laughing then?

Your little "meme" will be over and the time of the d3 mortal wounds 18 inch effective range generic fish spell will be nigh.

But when the time of the idk comes, you are already into pointy aelfs

  2. So wrapping it all up, if you have 300 something point slot in your army and you want to dish out some damage, you can go with 6 eels of whatever flavour or 3 sharks and nothing is wrong with that. Some say, also a turtle is nice (the batallion with turtle, shark and eels sounds like a good idea).

But I dont know about the eidolons. You cant compare the damage output easily as they are full of abilities and spells. So maybe someone with a lot of experience can tell us when and why to take which eidolon. I know some was explained here and there on this forum (tricks with steed of tide etc.), but till now I dont get the whole picture.

I realy would like to build and paint one over the holidays, but only if he is useable. I even dont know which one to take.

Yes please, I would like my 100pt sharks served with a side of 3+ armor saves :).

    ...

I do like the shark, too. But could you please explaine why the shark do more damage after the charge? And how can it get a 3+ armor save, as 8 Wound MONSTERs dont benefit from cover?

First ever out of LGS tournament, so I am going to bring my idoneth deepkin. It's lacking the 18 spear eels of most armies, in fact it is playing two of the Garbage tier units out of the book (turtle and shark)  in a pretty crappy battalion, but I like it, and I'm excited to see how it does in an actual tournament. I want to try and see how I could make the list work and see how my army can fit in with tactics rather than bringing a face stomping list.

I do the same this weekend :D

  5. 3 years ago, I was looking for a hobby that I could share with my oldest son, who is quite a nerd. He was 10 and I 36. Picked up a box called Storm of Sigmar, but had no real idea what was behind that. We had a great time, building, painting and gaming together. He is now lost to  video games (thank you, fortnite) but I’m still in the hobby waiting for my other sons to be old enough J
